From the moment I arrived, Lauren was the one who greeted me and made everything so easy. She was kind, respectful, and incredibly efficient--handing me a key to a golf cart right away so I could head out and check on the ads I'd placed on Hole 8 and Hole 15. She made the process smooth and stress-free, which I really appreciated. But what truly impressed me--and why I'm writing this review--is something that happened after I returned the cart. As I was leaving, I saw a lady come in looking for a lost wallet, and it seemed her loved one was in the hospital. Without hesitation, Lauren walked with her, offered comfort, and even took a moment to pray with her quietly near the front entrance. In a world where people often shy away from showing that level of compassion and faith openly, Lauren's kindness and character really stood out. I even called the manager, Larry, afterward to let him know how impressed I was. It's not every day you see someone go out of their way to offer that kind of genuine support, and it speaks volumes about the kind of people working at Crystal Falls Golf Club. All in all, I'm grateful for the experience. It's a great course with a team that truly cares. Kudos to Lauren and the entire staff!

The staff is super friendly, especially Bryan, and the course is both interesting and in good shape for December. The pro shop was expanded and has a good selection of hats, balls, shirts etc. and Matt, the GM can order whatever clubs you want. The cafe has also expanded the food and beverage selections with very good quality. Due to the huge influx of people to the area, the demand on golf courses and corresponding price hikes are noticeable to the locals/regulars but not excessive. I'll definitely be playing again on every trip back to Round Rock. Try it, you'll love it!

He has a great personality and knows how to connect with his students. His approach is very simple. He asks what you want to work on or what you are trying to accomplish. He videotapes your swing. Then explains in simple terms what he sees and how he can help. He has several drills and very simple training gear to set you on the path to improving your golf game. He does not overwhelm you with "you need to be at this angle" but provides simple instructions/guidance to improve your ball striking and, of course, score! You have to think your way around this track as the short holes tempt you to take out the big stick when a 5-wood or long iron places you in position A for a birdie. This course has some elevation, so club selection is key on many of your second shots. The greens are fast and run true, which I like. Make sure you visit the snack bar. The people working here are nice, the food is excellent, especially the burgers. During this visit, we had a front-row seat at the Bluebonnet Airshow, which was happening next door at the Burnet Municipal Airport. One nit, you will not finish your round in four and a half hours. Plan on a 5-hour round.
