It did take a while but it was expected during Christmas and in their defense I told them I was in no hurry. My package arrived with 6 out of the 36 mugs broken. The shipment was from Edmonton to Calgary so it's not like it was going across the country! It was not properly packaged to ship. Very thin cardboard with no padding between mugs. Seller said at the outset that buyer is responsible to open a case with the shipper if there are any issues or breakage. Ok I knew that at the outset but when I tried to open a case, the shipping company said I required further info that only the seller had (account number) to open a case. When I asked him for the info he said no he would not provide it, he had to open the case himself. I provided photos of all the breakage per his request, then didn't hear back from Gordon for 3 months. I finally reached out to see if there had been any resolution and his response was "I did get a reply on a previous claim, the carrier will not cover breakage". So he basically forgot about me/doesn't care and isn't responsible at all. I am a small business owner as well and know that when you are shipping anything, especially fragile items, you should at least put a little bit of effort into packaging to prevent damage. Literally no effort was placed here, and the seller's attitude is just "oh well too bad" If this case of how this business owner treats his customers is any indication of his overall attitude towards customers, I would avoid this business all costs.
