Hidden beside Harris Farmers is this little hideaway. I only noticed the cafe because of the tables outside and I was handing out leaflets and chatting to the public (another hat I wear). Well it heated up during the morning...yes the conversations and the weather. Needed to take rest and sustenance...in the mood for a toasted something with a caffeine hit.
The cafe had a good breakfast selection. A father with his two youngsters were digging right into then big breakfast, it looked great and he commented that it was very tasty.
I had an egg and bacon roll. Well the roll wasn't round..it was a flat bread, even better, and it was just the way I like it. Love runny eggs oozing over the bacon and mouth watering. The bread was toasted and I shared half of it with a fellow campaigner. The coffee was extra hot and full of flavour. The fellow serving was chatty and interesting. There was a comfortable feel about this place with inside and outside seating. read more
