Best pineapple ever! It's white and sweet. Our guide from Kohola adventures asked if we wanted to stop said it was the best pineapple around. I figured he was just trying to help a friend out, we said we wanted to try it and I'm sooo happy we did! It was seriously the sweetest and most most juicy pineapple I've ever had. World's greatest pineapples!!! Unbelievably good, picked at perfection. Golden, sweet- whole pineapple or buy a bag of cut pineapple to eat right away. See pineapples growing. Beautiful spot near the Poholu lookout. Wonderful, gregarious couple who are homesteading this land. Husband is 5th generation Hawaiian. Pineapples only available 3 months a year when naturally ripe (summer). read more

Rounding the corner to Gomestead farm we were "reeled in" by the gentlemen working as he stood by the road with a fishing pole that had a pineapple attached to the end of the line that he was dangling over the edge of the road as we drove by. We could not pass up the chance to stop on the way back.
