Edgar was able to accommodate my schedule even I canceled last minute. He diagnosed why the fan was not spinning when the AC thermostat was on, it was the capacitor and he checked it using his tester. He told me it was bad and needed replacement. He replaced it with a new capacitor and then turn the unit on and it worked fine. The whole time he took to diagnose and replace it was under an hour and I paid $385 for the whole job. I had this company install 2 a/c units one at my home and another at my sisters home. We like to make sure we stick to our yearly maintenance with the same ppl who installed. The lack of communication and poor customer service sucks for paying well over 10k each for these huge installs. Knowing that that company will take a large install on a company more serious than keeping a client long term and make sure there units are maintained properly it's rude. I've called,emailed and IG messages to the only # I get with getting a "okay" we can get some one there tomorrow. No window timeframe given only a text..you're not available today and that's it.no response, only had once someone show up 4hrs after they were suppose to be there and I was already heading to work. I asked to get a new date and no answer. HORRIBLE service. Don't offer unit maintenance with your company if you can't stick to it with a client. read more

His 2 guys have no clue what they're doing. Everything was working perfect with the exception of not blowing cold air. What should have been simple turned into a 950.00 rate to hose off the coil & replace the blower that his guys messed up. Mind you, they were laughing after the fact & whispering in the garage about whatever they did to it. Definitely a shady business. read more

Called Gomez Air because my AC was blowing hot air and the condensing unit would not operate. Edgar told me he could come out same day, which was on Labor Day. He arrived in a timely matter, diagnosed and fixed the problem within 20 minutes. I'm assuming the price charged was fair/competitive considering the circumstances (holiday, same-day, 103 degree temp). Yesterday my heater would go on for a few minutes & then turn off. It would be off a little bit and then start again, only to turn off again. Today I called Gomez Air Conditioning & Heating. I asked if there were any available Appts & the Technician said yes. Once I told him what was going on he stated that based on what I told him it sounded like my heater was working but sounded like a dirty filter. He suggested I try that first & if that didn't work to call him back. Well guess what? That was the problem. Heater works fine. They could have taken me for the service fee and tell me this. Martin quickly assessed the problem and told us that we needed a motor. I thought to myself, how were we gonna endure waiting a week or even days for a motor to be ordered and installed in the sweltering over 100 degree temperatures? Martin called the very next day and said that he had the motor and was ready to install. Needless to say, we were both surprised and happy. Martin arrived on time by 12 noon and installed our motor. I called to set up an appointment due to an emergency leaking situation, the guy who answered told me he would be able to come out within 1.5 - 2 hours. Cool, I waited with my husband and cancelled our plans for that evening since they "said" they would come out. We waited for an hour, 2 hours, 3 hours.. NO REPSONSE AT ALLLLLLL I mean not even giving us the convenience of a SIMPLE heads up text saying they will not be able to make it! Woke up the next morning, still NO REPSONSE or reason they didn't show up when they said they would. I understand jobs may run late, etc but to NOT keep your appointment and not even give a warning letting us know they won't be coming is highly unprofessional and unacceptable. read more
