    This was my second time using MSP after reading many of their positive reviews and knowing they are a local, small business -- which I always gravitate toward when selecting services. The first time, the technician had placed a sticker on our AC unit, so when cold air stopped flowing this time, it was easy to call them. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The process was effortless: customer service answered right away, their system recognized my address from my phone number, and within an hour (on a Sunday evening!) they dispatched two technicians.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I also appreciated getting a text notification with their names and photo IDs so I knew exactly who was coming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The diagnosis wasn't the news we wanted to hear -- it was time to replace our 12-year-old AC unit. We had already refurbished the motor last year, which gave us one more season, but it had truly reached the end of its life. [[HIGHLIGHT]]What I appreciated most was that we never felt pressured into buying a new unit, even though it was recommended.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The technicians walked us through our options: spending over half the cost on a refurbished unit with no warranty or going with a brand-new system that came with one. After thoughtful discussion, both between my husband and me, and with the technicians, we decided to move forward with MSP's recommendation and financed the new unit. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The paperwork process was smooth, and they were even able to secure an installation appointment for the very next day.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]As a thoughtful touch, they even offered us a hotel stay to avoid the heat, though we decided to wait.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The next day, two installation crews arrived right on time. One worked in the attic while the other installed the unit outside. Both were courteous, respectful, and professional throughout. The real reason I give MSP five stars, beyond their product and service, is how they handled aftercare -- and the glimpse I got of how well they treat their employees. [[HIGHLIGHT]]After installation, my husband noticed the duct bracket hadn't been done exactly as he'd requested. Since we have a Belgian Malinois who chews on everything, he wanted the cables covered with a custom metal bracket, which had been discussed with the technician. Clearly, there was a miscommunication.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I called the next day and spoke with Bella (the manager, I believe). She explained that this was technically outside their scope, but she listened carefully, acknowledged the issue, and immediately sent her crew back the same day to resolve it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I appreciated that she didn't get defensive, but instead valued our input and honored our trust.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Finally, I want to applaud MSP for the way they treat their employees. All four team members who helped us mentioned how much they enjoy working there, and it shows in the quality of their work. On top of that, we were thrilled to learn that the X Series unit we purchased is the kind of product that could be sold at a much higher rate through a corporate AC company (according to one technician who used to work at a corporate), but MSP offered it at a fair and reasonable price. That kind of transparency and value is rare. I truly believe happy employees and fair business practices translate into happy customers, and this company is proof of that. I wish them continued prosperity.     [[HIGHLIGHT]]My complete experience was very good.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Brett and Edgar came out and accessed my situation and provided a few options.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We came to an option that i was able to agree with.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Michael and Luis came out and completed the work. Every one of them were knowledgeable and professional. The job was completed to my satisfaction.

    I just had a visit with Edgar who came on a scheduled pre-paid maintenance check and showed me how literally all of our homes were built with a unit not meant for the square footage for ALL our homes! The home builders intentionally issue AC units that is good enough for at least a year. I can go on, but those of you with solar basically this is why our annual SCE bills are higher every year! Anyways, Edgar was super friendly and other than explain to me what needed to be fixed, he added new parts in to help ease my electric bills and he cleaned the coils of the unit. Although it cost a lot, they do have a low paying monthly payment program so I didn't have to pay it all right away.

    It was time for our annual HVAC visit from MSP and I had also asked if our tech could take a look at our mini split, which wasn't cooling. Edgar V. arrived and quickly completed a thorough inspection of our total HVAC system and also our mini split. We were impressed to see that he even wanted to look at our attic to see our air ducts, especially since our home was built in the 50s and we have had our allergies flare up over the past few years. Edgar suggested that we replace our air ducts with ducts that are covered with Mylar as well. He also pointed out that our old ducts are no longer sealed well and there is dust in our home as a result. Next his supervisor, Brett H., came out and gave us an estimate following his review. He was willing to work with us on a great price which included the repair of our mini split, which wasn't installed incorrectly without warranty by someone we knew(big mistake). After we worked out the price, Brett had the team within MSP out at our home the next day. These four guys got to work and completed everything within 3 hours. Now our HVAC unit will last longer b/c it's not working as hard to move air through the ducts. Also, they now have our mini split covered correctly to protect our lines and it's cooling so well! MSP is always fair and upfront with us. Edgar V., thank you for the great service and the patience you showed. He even went back to our HVAC unit while Brett was discussing price to rinse it off and ensure it was ready for the summer. Great Guys and Great Company! Thank you!

    Kevin was fantastic! He came out on a Sunday, quickly diagnosed the issue, and had everything fixed within an hour. My AC now has a strong 20+ degree temperature split, and it's keeping the house comfortable even in 105°F heat. Fast, professional, and reliable service - highly recommended because I also got at year warranty.

    Leak from HVAC issue that was repaired same day

    Huge thanks to Tyler and Brandon for coming out same day to fix my HVAC issue! I had a clogged drain line that was causing water to leak right outside my kitchen window--not ideal. They showed up quickly, were super friendly, and got right to work. They explained what was going on in a way that actually made sense, and had everything cleaned out and fixed in no time. Really appreciate how professional and easygoing they were. If I ever have another HVAC issue, I'll definitely be calling these guys again. Highly recommend!

PUNCTUALITY 7. THOROUGH EVALUATION We met with the following specialists: SEAN O'HARA (AC repair) - AC stopped emitting cool air. Fixed issue w/ filter repair. ALFRED BIRNHAUPL (AC leak repair) - Fixed pipe leak from AC and completed comprehensive assessment of our dysfunctional zoning system. DOMENICK ALONGE (project manager) - Reviewed findings from Alfred, provided detailed indication of issues and resolution options with several quotes. Here's why our experience has been superior to previous companies: All three specialists were not only punctual, friendly, and courteous, but they took their time to evaluate our issues in CLEAR layman terms corroborated by photos, and showing us exactly where the problems were in person. We previously obtained a quote from a large corporate company and was left feeling dumbfounded and stressed as they described the nature of our problem in engineering, technical jargon that made absolutely no sense, including astronomical quotes without explanation of the work entailed. We continued experiencing intermittent issues with our AC and heater so we called Friends & Family based on their excellent reviews. This time around, with Friends & Family, we left feeling knowledgeable and reassured, with reasonable quotes including various discount eligibility. We didn't feel pressured by them to choose one route vs. the other; rather, gained the information we needed to make an informed decision that would prevent such issues in the future. Overall, their attention to detail, ability to explain the issues and resolution routes in simple, concrete terms, were far superior than the preceding company. They exceeded our expectations and we much appreciated their patience and openness to answering all our questions. I also want to mention that I was gardening when SEAN was fixing our AC. He saw me struggling to dig a hole for my plant and volitionally offered to help me. He took the extra time to dig the hole for me, exemplifying his genuine kindness and generosity! Similarly, my kids were running amuck and screaming and shouting while I attempted to maintain a conversation with ALFRED. He was very understanding and continued to engage in conversation, appearing unbothered by the chaos with a pleasant disposition. Lastly, DOMENICK was appointed on the day of our son's birthday. He related to us interpersonally and even helped assemble my son's new Radio Flyer bike! I told him that Sean also helped me garden and we laughed about how Friends & Family is a "one-stop shop." Given everything I mentioned, we're excited to have our overdue AC/heater system fully repaired by Friends & Family. We can't wait for our longstanding issues to be behind us, and we anticipate leaving an updated review once the work is complete!

Mike came out and thoroughly evaluated my system (which is 20 years old). Even though there wasn't one obvious reason for the problem, he carefully checked every possibility. He found that the refrigerant was low and that the pressures weren't resetting as they should. He recharged the system, reconnected my electrostatic filter, and took the time to explain what might be causing the issue, as well as discuss possible future options. Mike was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and personable. I felt confident in his assessment and appreciated that he never tried to pressure me into unnecessary repairs or a replacement. I feel very lucky that he was my technician. I highly recommend Diamond Air Services!
