If I could give them 10 stars I would. The experience was great from start to finish, and Daniel is a true professional. We have a two story house, and the upstairs would never get cold even when the AC would be working downstairs. The old system was installed 22 years ago, and throughout the years no one could figure out how to cool the upstairs...then Daniel came out for an estimate, and when we told him about the problem, he inspected the ceiling high above the furnace in the closet and found that the large supply collar for the upstairs was fully closed by a damper! We hired the AC doctor when our AC unit stopped working. We received multiple quotes and met multiple companies and Daniel was the one that made us feel completely comfortable and at ease. We have been looking to replace 2 HVAC units in our home for the last two years that have been struggling to keep up in the summer months. Being such a large investment, we were concerned about finding someone we could trust not only in our home but to do good work and stand behind it. Daniel (A/C Doctor) was the third quote for this project and immediately my wife and I felt very comfortable with him, only after a few mins of talking to him. The comment made early in the conversation that he is in this line of work because "He just likes to help people," stuck with me. He came out on a Sunday and was extremely thorough on inspecting all that was involved. He answered all of our questions and provided options for us to address all of our concerns and never once did he make us feel rushed or like he had somewhere else to be like the others we had come to give us a bid. There was also something Daniel did that none of the other guys cared to do and that was to put a drop cloth down when accessing the attic opening and using shoe covers! My wife and I made a decision that day, that the A/C Doctor was the right fit for us and made a deposit that same day! This being after several weeks of talking with other contractors and going back and forth. The scope of work was very well detailed on the agreement and we knew exactly what equipment would be included as well as some of the changes to the duct work and registers, something else none of the others cared to do. Daniel even came out on a Friday afternoon to remove the condensers to allow me an opportunity to fill in the holes from the old condenser pads which was extremely helpful! It was a two day install and Daniel was accompanied by Christian and Steven who were all very professional, courteous and respectful to our home. They used drop cloths to cover every inch of our flooring to make sure any debris was captured and vacuumed at the end of both days. Not only this, but they clean as they work, so there was never a mess in your living space while the work was being done. During the installation Daniel was never too busy to answer any questions or concerns we had about the work that was being done. The meticulous attention to detail to make sure the line set was wrapped correctly, conduit was flush against the stucco, all of the seams on the duct work, air handler and coil in the attic sealed to perfection. After completion, pictures and videos were shared of all the work that was done in the attic as well as the outside condensers which we really appreciated. The best part was during the testing phase we could feel the difference immediately as the new heat pump systems whispered away to an almost artic bliss inside the house... We are eternally grateful for the work that the A/C Doctor (Daniel) and his colleagues Christen and Steven have done and rest assured if we ever have questions or concerns down the road, we know he stands firmly behind his work.
