I had used this company once for a small job and they were in and out no problems so I thought let me call them back first for the bigger job. Big big mistake. Not sure if the owner just doesn't care anymore or what happened but it was the biggest nightmare I've ever dealt with doing updates to my home! I would strongly advise against doing business with this company. The work quality is extremely poor, and you may end up spending significant time chasing them to address issues. There were multiple days when they didn't even show up, and they left trash--including beer cans and bottles--scattered around. Their work is sloppy; paint was dropped on floors and furniture, and they didn't take the time to remove blinds, nails in walls or cover light switches and outlets properly, they just painted around them. They damaged furniture and provided no reimbursement for it. The owner tries to steer clients toward Google reviews rather than Yelp, which raises questions about the authenticity of the feedback. Additionally, employees disclosed to us that other clients are reportedly suing due to similar issues, and the company often requests cash payments, because dissatisfied clients have stopped payment via checks or credit cards. I found this company online, I called, and he answered, Im assuming the owner. Asked for my address to give me a quote, came to the house, and gave a high quote. It was to put up ceiling drywall, paint, and finish. It was to my understanding everything because the quote was 2k. After starting the job said +300 to paint, +300 for matching the crown molding. I lost my mind, after going back and fourth i said no thank you. Finish what your doing, im good. What a terrible person, the work they did look sloppy and unprofessional, no thank you and what an expensive lesson learned. We arranged for Aroldo to paint the exterior of our house. He responded promptly and was able to start the job right away. We were a little upset having found a color we liked at Sherwin Williams and were ready to take advantage of the 40% off deal they had. We were under the impression they were cool with using this paint. On the last day of the sale he insisted on using Behr from Home Depot. This would keep him from having to prime the job before painting. We went with his professional opinion. I really wished I read the comments here first. His crew did a reasonably good job patching the stucco and masking off the area to paint. There were some drips and drops on the ground that I think could have been avoided, but not enough to warrant a 2 star review by themselves. We were pretty happy with the paint job, so we asked him to paint our kitchen cabinets. This is where things went downhill. The prep was rushed and little attention to detail was spent. One guy was left to complete the job (understandable because having multiple people in the kitchen would have been difficult). He didn't bother removing the cabinet doors. He rolled and brushed as opposed to spraying for a nice even coat. There were streaks, runs, and drips. They transformed our kitchen into a shitty kitchen from the 80's. I was left with having to strip the paint and do it myself the right way. Twice as much work to do and $1000 down the drain. With such a bitter taste in my mouth, I find myself noticing smaller flaws on the exterior paint job now. I hate leaving negative reviews. I don't like the thought of harming someone's livelihood, but people really need to know what to expect when they hire this company. I'm a first time homeowner and I'm chalking this experience up to bad luck and tuition for the education I just got in hiring out construction work. I hired Gomez painting company to paint my 2 bedroom home. And install flooring. Initially they told me one price. Then when I decided to move forward The guy I had spoken with initially came back with another guy and they came and started telling me how much more it was going to cost. Each door was gonna cost more in doing the cabinets was going to cost more etc. OK fine. We re-negotiated. I now see I should've just said never mind at that point , But I digress. I asked him he will prep everything right you're going to sand you're going to tape the windows etc. oh yes yes. They came in they put down plastic they taped everything everything looks good. I gave them half the money deposit which I not regret. They said it would take about a week. They came back the next day to paint I had to take my dad to a doctors appointment. They called me while I was out and said we're all done with the painting. Wow I said I was expecting it to take longer. They still had to do the floors. He let me know that there was a lot of guys working on it. OK I'll take a look when I get home. They had dripped paint on everything even in areas that they had already put plastic and I don't understand how that even happened. They left my grandmothers antique mirror outside in the rain! The places where there was wallpaper I told them we're not going to paint I'm keeping the wallpaper. They had taped plastic up and when they took it down they ripped my wallpaper so there's huge chunks taken out of the design. It's ruined. These jerks ruined stuff, and didn't do their job correctly. We They didn't send anything except for where they patched a few holes. But you can tell that they patch the holes. Without going into all of the other horrible details I fired them and sent them on their way. I'm still going back-and-forth whether I want to try to take them to court and recover my money or just chalk it up as a lesson learned and move on with my life. However I need to find somebody else to come in and repaint the whole house. Their manager stood there and lied to my face and said no they sounded and then turned to the guy and asked him in Spanish you sounded right and he sheepishly shook his head yes. Aroldo is the grimiest and most dishonest person you'll ever meet . He shouldn't even get this 1 star. He's a liar and pretends he's a contractor,plumber,electrician . But I'm reality he can barely do a decent paint job . He was nice at the beginning but caused $100,000 in damages .... Yes $100,000 plus another $13,600 . He was contracted to paint my ceiling but after talking he said he could do my kitchen and daughter's bathroom too. On 12/27/2022 one of his awful workers used a saw and cut a pipe .My entire first floor was flooded , the kitchen living room and dining room, 3ft of wall and my neighbors on both sides of me were severely damaged . We had to gut all of the first floor and remove 3 ft of all in my unit and both of my neighborhoods units. He also broke the $600 shower door that I paid out of pocket ,never replaced it or refunded me. They hadn't even finished my daughters bathroom when we were told that our other neighbor whose storage unit is under our unit is now flooding because he did not properly water proof my shower , all the water was coming into his storage unit . The entire shower had to be demolished and redone . $13,600 . When I told him what happened he stopped showing up and never responded. His insurance denied our claim because he has no water and fire damage coverage... you know why? Because he Isn't a plumber nor a technician and shouldn't even be offering any of those services. He's a fraud. It's been 6 months and reconstruction has finally began on my home ,our new contractor suggested we try to reach out again to pay for all the damages that I paid for which is $41,000 out of pocket . He only read the message Now I've reported him to the State Licensing board. The BBB can only do so much but the state licensing board can actually revoke his license and investigate him for fraud. This business is more like 3.5 stars. (They did a great job on my window frames). When we initially spoke, the owner was very attentive and friendly. I saw the work they did on my next door neighbors house, and was impressed with the results, so I used their services. I picked the color I wanted (Sherwin Williams brand) and a couple days later they started. What I was told was the first couple days would be pressure washing/stucco repair. To my surprise, they started to paint on the second day. When I saw their work, I was NOT HAPPY. Who ever they used to fix the stucco did a poor job. There were tons of blotches around the entire house, and you could still see the dark brown paint from the existing paint color. ALSO, they did not cover the sprinklers in the back yard and painted right over them. I told the owner I did not want to proceed until he saw the work his crew did. The next day he came by to see the work. At first he tried to justify why it looked that way, but I was not having it. I asked they correct the errors, or I would use another company. I also informed him that the color used did not look like the color I had originally picked. Good thing I had my paint sample, because when I did a swatch, it was NOT the same color. Instead of using the Sherwin Williams brand I selected, he attempted to color match with Behr. It was close, but not the exact same color. If he told me he wanted to use a particular brand to paint in the first place, I would have found something I liked. Eventually we decided to use the color, and do more coats to the home because they were painting over a very dark paint (Dark Mocha). He originally said it would take roughly 4-5 days, but it turned out to be a couple weeks. There are still some imperfections, but overall, they did a nice job. I found Gomez Painting on the internet and since he had many good reviews, I called him to give me a bid on painting the outside of my home. After discussing all the items that I wanted done for the painting, Gomez agreed to them and I agreed to his price. I then wrote up a detailed contract with the items that we agreed on. He signed the contract but then refused to do many of the items listed. I should have fired Gomez on Day 1! First off, he bought a cheaper paint than the one that was specified in the contract. I had him return it, but he made me pay more the for one I had specified! Later on, when his crew was already in the midst of painting, he refused to replace the metal trim around the outside of my balcony which was also in the contract. Then, he refused to paint the wood trim under the gutters on my garage and left it with the previously painted color! More importantly, he and his crew did a terrible job with a lot of their work. This included: 1) failing to fill deeply scratched and chipped wood before painting, 2) making uneven painted lines between colors and 3) leaving many unpainted areas in the middle of previously painted areas! When asked to correct these items, he constantly complained about doing any of the fixes and refused to do many of them. I tried to have Gomez come back to fix the problems I found after he finished, but he refused to come back. After Gomez and his crew left, I found that his crew had killed my lawn and various plants around the lawn with their brush cleaner. I asked him to come back to see what they had done, but Gomez refused. It then cost me $400 to have the sod replaced and I still have to pay to have the dead plants replaced as well! I have included photo examples of the problems I listed so you can see their lousy work. I will have to hire another painter to correct the problems Gomez and his workers left behind. When starting my house painting, I told Gomez that if he did a good job I would recommend him to my neighbors. But because of all these problems, I threw away his business cards as I will definitely not recommend Gomez Painting for ANY paint job, no matter how small! They are very fast. Finishes the job sooner in comparison to other contractors. No one can beat them. Initially, I called for paint but the guy proposed that the company does remodeling too. But later working with him, I found, he has less knowledge about the construction. No plans. Always rushes to finish the job. Now, I have to redo many things to make it good. As, I was in the middle of the construction, couldn't fire also. Though, I did once. Communication gap as well as language barrier. If you will be working with them, you have to supervise them. Also, you have to go to the Home depot for many times in a day as they don't give you the specific measurements. No work proposals, everything verbal. And later, the guy keep on adding the amount for each job. For one bath, I ask him to write the things. as I am not a construction guy, I do not know what are the things to be done. He made the dry wall and said it's completed. For mudding and painting, I need to pay extra. And, for pocket door repair, I have to find another repair guy. And for Chimney also, I was asked to pay for paint and roof reconstruction. But, I got other people to complete it. Anyway, all's well that ends well. Finally, escaped. read more

He is average but not professional he went and pick his own colors after we told him to paint the house the same color the trim work wasn't good. I feel like I got taken for a ride he isn't honest. Do not, I repeat do not use this painter. If I could give him zero stars, I would in a heartbeat. Beyond having at least 24 painting mistakes in my my condo and NOT covering my laminate floors correctly (thereby requiring two of his employees to work six hours trying to clean my floors after they were supposed to be done) my cabinets in my kitchen and bath are PEELING and coming off with a slight graze. He pretends he doesn't speak English but he understands well, but won't even answer my questions. He either didn't sand and prime the cabinets before his painters painted them or he used the wrong paint. I don't know! I'm not the professional! I paid him his full price and he can't even give me an answer, because he pretends he can't speak English. I recently had my house painted by this business. The house painting was done OK but there are several other things I am not happy with. There were 4 men here to paint. I was away working most of the time and didn't see everything that happened each of the 4 days they worked. Now I know I should have watched each step. I pointed out some termite damage and asked that the damaged boards be replaced. I only saw where one was replaced and the rest were patched. Very sloppy! When they cleaned up, they not only rinsed their brushes in my plants, they shook them out on my cinder block fence. (Not easy to clean off).More than once, I saw one of the workers taking a leak in my side yard.Stinky! I had already told them they could use my bathroom. There are several areas where paint got on to the sidewalk. It was not cleaned up before it dried. Aroldo Gomez, claims he is a licensed contractor and can do any kind of work. Do not believe him! His contractors license number was not on his business cards or on the invoice he game me. Be aware of this business trying to take advantage of homeowners. They were good at communication before the job but made us go to Home Depot twice to get more supplies , didn't do the trim around the doors despite doing the baseboards/walls/cielings, and washed all their paint brushes in the sink and tub leaving a huge mess. They were done and gone in five hours and I spent just as much time cleaning up after them. Not worth the trouble when there are reputable ethical painters out there. read more

After getting multiple estimates from different companies, Mr. Gomez was the best when it came to price and quality. He came to my house after 2 hours of requesting quotes from several companies.  He was on time, extremely detail oriented, and very friendly. He took his time explaining everything.  I had some terminate repairs that needed to be done before painting and Mr. Gomez and his crew did a wonderful job replacing all the wood including a window frame. The team was very detail, professional, knowledgeable, and most important approachable. They did a superpower wash on the house, primed and painted in 3 days.  They finished right on the scheduled time. They were very clean and prep the house nicely so paint would go all over the place. We liked his worked so much that we hired them on the spot to move our fence.  Will definitely use them again once we're ready to paint our interior. read more
