I told him straight from the beginning I am still working that out but wanted to get a generic quote based on time and mile metrics for the local cities to Marysville. I reminded him what I said and he shouted sarcastically, "Oh, okay, what, thank you, goodbye!" I just needed a generic quote. I called back and was forced to leave a voice message. Honestly, this is the best service people can come up with? I called back a third time and he quoted me for $219.90 after giving him the address for pick up and drop off. I said to him, "Wow, $219.90" and he said "Wow, you seemed shocked about the price and kept screaming at me for the miles even though I just told him several times it is a 10 mile trip and he ran a thorough calculation." I said I was fine with his calculation and he screamed again and hung up after I said he did not need to raise his voice at me and told him I was already fine with the price. Something is wrong with this company... All I said is that I was shocked at how affordable the price was. He is now texting me on another number telling me he won't stop and is berating me. Somehow he is still able to text me after blocking the number. If this harassment continues I will contact law enforcement and change numbers.

Saturday, August 1, while driving on I-5 south near the Tulalip Outlets just off exit 200, it was…read morestop and go traffic on the highway. Cars had slowed to a crawl and I came to a complete stop just as cars in front of me were stopped due to the early afternoon weekend traffic jam. And as I was stopped a light green Prius had crashed into my car completely damaging my rear bumper and pushing my car into the car in front of me further damaging my front bumper and hood. The shocking part was the driver of the light green Prius did not stop to check to see if myself, my passengers, and the driver in front of me were OK. The woman driving the lime green Prius had left the scene and drove off without taking any accountability or responsibility for what had happened. It looked like she was distracted and on her phone during the accident. Luckily, none of my passengers were hurt or injured during the accident. And the woman driving a 2017 Lexus in front of me was not hurt either. Her car did not sustain any damages either, just my 2005 Nissan Maxima SE. I had called 911 to request assistance and seek advice from a state trooper on whether my car was safe to drive home. It was fortunate that I did, I was still shaken from what had happened and still in disbelief the women in the light green Prius had driven away making it a hit and run accident. Soon after speaking with the state trooper I had called several tow truck companies in the area. Richard's Towing was one of two who responded immediately. I called and left a voice mail message with my name number and details of the accident. Richard had called me back and was very professional. He asked me specific details, where I was located, where I would like my car to be dropped off, calculated the total distance between Tulalip and Bothell (25 miles) to provide an accurate estimate, and he also provided an eta when he was able to pick up my car. Richard provided clear and transparent pricing, professional service, and I was also able to ride along in his tow truck for the drop off. During the ride home, Richard was very personable and shared his knowledge and experience with similar accidents. The accident was a bit jarring and the conversation helped me calm my nerves and get my mind off losing my car or no longer having a reliable car to drive. Once we arrived at my home, Richard safely unloaded my car, accepted my payment via phone app. He was also able to provide and email me an invoice for the towing service so I could submit a copy to my insurance company. I highly recommend Richard's Towing. Richard earned my trust by providing clear and transparent communication. His pricing was fair and accurate based on the miles calculated and rate for the distance traveled. Richard was also very personable and showed much needed empathy and compassion after my accident. Luckily it was still daylight and we were able to comfortable hang out until the tow truck arrived (they made good time). The tow truck driver was incredibly helpful; before towing our car, he explored more than one reason the car might not be starting (trying to avoid a tow); he was very knowledgeable and helpful. He in fact correctly identified the problem within a couple of minutes (as we found out the next day from the mechanic). Once it was for sure that we could not get the car going, he obliged to tow the car to our chosen mechanic and once there, he even helped us park the car and fill out the overnight paperwork. Amazing service. The best I've ever had from a towing company. Highly recommend.

He said he had quite a bit of traffic in Seattle to wade through, as it took him over an hour to arrive. However, once he arrived, he figured out a solution to my problem. He efficiently changed my front tire to the back and vice versa so he could tow it to the tire store. He worked quickly and was very polite. (I had no spare tire, so it was a bit challenging.) Hal answered his phone right away and was able to talk me through the issue I was having so he could pick me up quickly when he arrived 30 minutes later. I was surprised he made it to me so quickly because I called AAA, and they told me they would not be able to assist for 3 hours! Hal was calm, respectful, and all-around nice when he arrived. He helped diagnose my vehicle and even took it to the mechanic. I couldn't recommend Lynwood Towing and Hal more, and I hope Yelp figures out how to change the negative reviews going to the wrong company.
