Gomez Stone LLC. completed the reconstruction of the patio area in a competent professional manner. The workmanship was excellent.

Worst paving company in Columbus. They fought me on replacing the driveway that wasn't installed…read morecorrectly even after I filed a BBB complaint. The crew that came to replace it wasn't very professional about it either. One was caught wandering around to the rear of my house, one let the roller sit too long in one spot at the end of the driveway, and they left without placed tape across the end of the driveway. I heard one of the guys say something about it and one of the others said, F@#k him. Let's go." Would not recommend if they were the only paving company in the area.

While attempting to get out both entrances of the apartment complex, I was blocked in by both. So I go to the front entrance, and one of the paving trucks is blocking both the left and the right turn lane. I wait for five minutes, nobody moves so I honk at the guy to signal that I'm back here and I need to be let through. He looks up at me, and goes back down, looking at his phone. I go around him and almost get sideswiped by a car because I could not see properly. Would not recommend this company. They were told not only by a maintenance man but also by the property manager that they could not be blocking anybody in. If something were to happen, or a car get hit, this company is absolutely liable. They've been told multiple times, and still cannot just have basic respect for people trying to get to and from work

The painters noticed some mold and water damage near a few of the walls. I called Ohio Basement Authority and Jordan came out the next day. Having a finished basement makes figuring out if there is water coming in tough, but he walked me through the possibilities, and how we could remedy each one. Not being used to having a basement (I historically lived in *much* drier climates!), I really appreciated the thoughtfulness and attention to detail that he showed in walking me through the different situations. I decided to go with the interior waterproofing. I was scheduled to have my new flooring installed a day later, so the speediness that Jordan came out literally saved me thousands of dollars (and the time of having another floor installed!). Thanks OBA!

Every time I see Mike Rowe on TV promoting Ohio Basement Authority, I cringe, here's why…read more I hired Ohio Basement Authority to put in a French drain system around the perimeter of the interior walls of the basement, it was supposed to take 1 crew 1 day. It took 3 crews and 5 days. On day 1 they jackhammered the perimeter and laid half the drain tile and left at 2:00 for a family emergency. I checked the progress and found that the weep holes that were supposed to be drilled on every block had not been drilled at all. Day 2, no show. Day 3 crew 2 (different people), they removed the previous laid tile to drill the weep holes Day 4, no show Day 5, crew 3 (different people) they finished the job The worst part of it all is that the plastic barrier hung to keep the cement dust from an adjacent room had fallen, and they did not bother to put it back up. The entire room and all It contained were covered with a thick coat of cement dust. Everything must be wiped off, and all the shelving must be taken outside and hosed off costing thousands of dollars. After hiring a 3rd party to clean up the mess, the reimbursement was slow and was only a fraction of the estimate.
