In addition, their food was amazing. I ordered their Crème Brûlée Brown Sugar Milk Tea (I was indecisive between that and their Crème Brûlée Strawberry Latte). And good Lord was it delicious! My wife ordered the Pearl Milk Tea, and she finished hers before I did. Lastly, it was the ambiance that attracted us there in the first place. Coming back after a while with recommendations from the cousins. The drinks taste better than before, good improvement. The classic milk tea less sweet is very good and the way they make their boba is good. Probably the best tapioca balls around this area. The winter melon tea is very good, on the sweeter side and cannot be adjusted but i still like it. Very refreshing! I got great customer service today, used my $5 off a drink and owed .25 cents, just my luck I only had a $20 but he said it was fine, i come back another time to purchase again. I first had Gong Cha in Fremont, CA. Now that I'm in Texas, I've been driving to Grand Prairie for my regular dose of tea. I was beyond ecstatic that there's one in North Fort Worth!!! It's a good alternative when you've had your morning cup of coffee, and need a different type of caffeine to make it through the rest of the day. The sweetness and ice levels are adjustable. My absolute favorite is the milk foam series. Personally, I love the milk foam (earl grey or black tea) with 50% sweetness and less ice. Since the weather has been getting cooler, less ice is superb; plus, you get more bang for your buck in terms of content. I'm a fairly simple gal, so I usually do not add extra toppings. However, you have the option of being fancy/creative and add different toppings, such as boba, pudding, jelly, red beans, etc. Location? It's located in the same plaza as Kroger. I've been wanting to check out this place for awhile, so I decided to stop by. The interior of the store is simple yet aesthetically pleasing. Right now they only take card (credit or debit) and you can't dine in. I believe when they make dining in available they have games you can play. I got their caramel milk tea with boba at a 75% sugar level with minimal ice. I like the fact that you can customize the sugar and ice level. Good little boba chain! I've been to a few before, but this one is my favorite location so far. I love their variety of flavors of milk tea. The earl Grey milk tea, brown sugar milk tea and strawberry milk tea are the best in my opinion, but you can't go wrong with just black milk tea either. The lychee oolong tea and wintermelon tea are also delicious if you want something refreshing! This place was really good! I had a large pearl milk tea, which is just a milk tea with tapioca boba. I am a huge boba/milk tea fanatic and this definitely hit the spot. The boba were a smaller size than what I have had before but they tasted well and you get a lot in the cup which was nice! A lot of places only give you a small amount of boba. This is my second time ever going to a Gong Cha because I had a bad experience the last time I went to one so I decided to give it another chance when this new location opened closer to home. We went during the grand opening when they were doing the buy one get one free deal so it was a bit of a wait but that's expected. The majority of the wait time was standing in line waiting to order, we stood for about 10-15 minutes and got our drinks in less than 10. The store itself is a little small but there's still plenty of seating. For all you instagrammers, they also have cute little drawings/signs to take your pictures with. There is always something wrong with my orders. They either left off the boba that I paid extra for, it's way too sweet when I order 30%, or it tastes like there's almost no sugar even when I order 100% sugar. Sometimes they'll get it right, but there's no consistency! I love the Plano location, but it's an hour away so I was so excited for a Ft Worth location, but this location is horrible. Side Note: Their foam teas come in a plastic lid with a hole and aren't sealed like at their Plano location or any other boba shop. They use extremely flimsy drink carriers (at least at their grand opening)that bend as soon as you touch them. I almost spilt a few of my drinks as soon as I grabbed them. read more

Gong cha has a decent sized menu. It's not as extensive as some boba places but definitely has a variety of options. Out of the boba places nearby, I feel that gong cha has the better pearls. Their large is definitely the size to get. I enjoy their brown sugar milk tea along with their peach oolong. My sister is a fan of the earl grey milk tea and enjoyed their pudding topping as well. The pudding is very soft. We tried the honey lemon green tea which was pretty great as well.
