They even have antique prints and interesting maps of Montana. Pat is so kind and friendly and may have some nice stories to share with you. He also knows a great deal about history, especially about the history of Montana. Looking at the incredible quality of these older and newer books, I thought for sure some of them would be about a hundred dollars at least, but they were only twenty dollars or so. Some of the books even have that beautiful old-fashioned hardcover with fabric and detailed binding. For the amount of information, and the great quality of the books, you cannot simply past up on the great value you will receive at Bay Books and Prints. Please, do not skip this bookshop on your visit to the Flathead Valley!

I was charged twice for a single transaction totaling $227.63-and the way this was handled was incredibly unprofessional. I spoke with a woman named Christina, and rather than taking ownership or even offering a basic apology, she immediately shifted the blame to the credit card processing company. She told me they were closed and the issue would be addressed the following morning. Two days later-no update on my card, no call back. So I followed up myself AGAIN. Christina did not even acknowledge she forgot both to follow up and to handle the issue. Still, no apology for the oversight. Then, to make matters worse, she told me she couldn't credit the full amount and proceeded to argue with me that the store only charged once. She said she has to call their credit card processor for the remaining amount and sounded annoyed. This mistake should have been handled promptly. It's been 6 days, and I have yet to receive my credit back. Mistakes happen, I understand that. But the complete lack of responsibility, professionalism, and customer care is what prompted this review. Make sure you receive confirmation that you were only charged once for your transaction before you leave. Christina admitted it has happened before.
