I had 3 spinal surgeries in 2015 and as a result I have very painful neuropathy in my hands. I am amazed at how well Neurofeedback is working for me. There are many days I am totally pain free! Ms. Levison is a wonderful therapist. I really like her and feel that she has helped me in many areas. She put me at ease the second I met her. I enjoy my sessions very much and hate the thought of them ending. I highly recommend Neurofeedback and Counseling Center to everyone. You would be surprised at the number of issues Neurofeedback can help with. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed. Jane Dornsife

Right off the bat, I felt very at ease with her as a therapist. We established my goals for seeking therapy and discussed strategies for treatment. She's very knowledgeable and took the time to really educate me on the various treatment options we could explore. Talk therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy helped me become better equipped to deal with my feelings of anxiety and talk myself down before they started to get the better of me. I feel stronger as a person now and more able to handle the curve balls that life throws my way. I'm really grateful for her help. I'd recommend her to anyone who needs help dealing with life's difficult issues.

I found Rebecca two years ago and am so glad I did as the care that she provides to my family and me is exceptional. I have a number of chronic health issues which includes chronic pain, chronic fatigue, anxiety, dental issues, back/neck/shoulder issues, among other concerns. I can know with confidence that when I go to Rebecca with any health concern, I will leave feeling better and the benefits will last. Despite seeing many highly-rated practitioners of many disciplines (both allopathic and naturopathic), predictable and lasting benefits have not been my norm so my experience with her gives me such solace and relief! What makes Rebecca and the work she does stand out are her excellent acupuncture skills, her compassionate nature, her deep commitment to serve others in any way that she can, and her experience and training in a variety of modalities that she draws upon. I greatly value that she takes the time to ask questions and listens deeply so she is attuned to my needs and concerns and can precisely address them. Rebecca wants clients to understand that symptoms don't exist in isolation; they are influenced by so many factors like diet/nutrition, sleep, food, stressors, thoughts, etc. So she takes the time to share her wealth of knowledge and resources--offered with clarity, wisdom, a razor-sharp mind and a loving heart. I am often struck by the connections that she makes, and the insights that I get are useful to support my health well after the visit. Overall, she is by no means a "typical" health practitioner: she is a dedicated healer and a caring coach. I always leave feeling supported physically, mentally and emotionally--and more positive and hopeful! My family members who see Rebecca feel the same way and we are very grateful to be under her care.

Dr. Casey Shienvold did an in-depth analysis of everyone involved. He was very professional and ethical in every way. I want to point out that in matters such as this, someone always walks away feeling they "lost". This explains the dissatisfaction posted in some of their ratings. Dr. Shienvold is a pro at seeing through the BS. I was grateful to have his expert opinion. My ex probably disagrees because he chose to disparage me to the children every chance he could. Parents need to understand one thing if you're going to undertake a custody evaluation... THE CHILDREN'S BEST INTEREST WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST!!

From 2016/17 thru 2018 I attended group with councilor Becka. In 2018 she could no longer lead our group as she was needed to write a new program for an extended rehab. Our group was allowed to continue to meet in the building without her present, but we were soon to fall apart without her guidance. My one year to 18 months of counseling there was invaluable. My beautiful daughter was battling a heroine addiction and the education, companionship, understanding and direction given by our counselor was priceless. Talking with her and other parents with the same issues was helping me keep some kind of sanity and helped me to know I was not alone. strong bonds of love and respect were made by all attending. The educational component helped us parents to know the proper way to support our children without enabling them. it has been seven years since our group has been together; some of our children, including my daughter Emily have passed, but we may be getting together soon and I would love to see Becka again and invite her to our group. Her guidance has been a god sent to me and others in our group. Addiction is a very hard thing to live through, this counseling is so necessary and appreciated. sincerely, Barb M

I highly recommend Mazzitti and Sullivan Mechanicsburg to those struggling with alcoholism,…read moreaddiction, and/or mental health issues. The staff and the program at M&Z Mechanicsburg are outstanding! I was in and out of M&Z a few times. I completed the bare minimum of the program back in early 2018. In March of 2019, I found myself back for another evaluation (not court ordered, all voluntary). Intensive Outpatient (IOP) was recommended. I struggled with the program for about 2 months before working to get in to their partial program (5 days a week from 9a-1p). I didn't last more than 5 days in that program before relapsing. I was discharged unsuccessfully from M&S. Fast forward to July of 2019 when I checked in to an inpatient rehab for 28 days. Upon completing inpatient, I once again reached out to Mazzitti & Sullivan. They welcomed me back. I was in the IOP from mid August thru the beginning of October. I stepped down to regular outpatient and remained in group therapy until the end of December. I also had individual counseling sessions throughout the entire outpatient program, and I continued those sessions through mid February. Mazitti & Sullivan (Mechanicsburg), and my counselor, Kyle, are a big part of my recovery story. The entire staff at the Mechanicsburg office is amazing. I looked forward to my appointments and groups. I really worked through a lot of issues that were holding me back from sobriety in the past. I was able to be open and felt that my thoughts and feelings were heard and respected. The communication with my counselor was easy and open. I took to heart and mind all of his advice and feedback. The group sessions were very informative and positive. I learned a lot about myself, alcoholism, and recovery at M&Z.

And from day one all the therapist wanted to discuss was him having Fibromyalgia although he had never received the actual diagnosis we only felt he might have it. So began this whole well you should do this for it and do that for it because it is what I do for mine. A) the therapist was playing doctor for a diagnosis he never received. B) she then would backtrack and say oh well not that I am saying you have it. C) ever appointment after that always comes back to his pain not his mental health in general. YES he has pain it is very real. YES we felt some might be mental health related but after alot of tests being done we no longer felt that. During this time he was also working with Dr. W and she was helping with mith medications and they were working well together to try and find the right combination that would work. After his last telehealth with his therapist he was just so done. He was sick and tired of it all going back to him being in pain all the time. He has real mental health issues that needed to be dealt with that had nothing to do with the pain and not once did she ever touch on any of it. So he requested to be discharged from the therapy side as it was not helping him but he wanted to continue with Dr. W for the med management. Well Pa counseling dumped him completely leaving with no treatment options and now no meds meaning he is going to end up going through some shit withdrawal because of it. I am just beyond disgusted at the way the just done him. I just saw all hope drain out of his face in an instant.
