He is a lier, dishonest of you don't believe his lies he messed with my car, he made it so my car made some bad racket noises when I picked it up from him. I had to stop in at discount tire to get it checked out for any damage he may have done to my car, it didn't sound safe after I picked out up from the garage the day after. So we have been going to good looking Dave's automotive repair for 2 years and it has been so awesome!! Dave was so great then he sold it and Josh took it over and Josh was awesome then come to find out Josh is no longer affiliated with good looking dave and the new manager is horrible my wife called and made an appointment to look at her subaru well they never looked at it and said they tried calling her and me her husband never got a call so literally lied to her face multiple times so she asked to get her car back immediately then they put it back together and only put 1 nut back on for the back brakes missing one then the front was so lose it fell off and my wife felt that it was not driving well went 1 mile and had to stop could not drive it stopped in to discount tire and they fixed it for her but she could have been in a very accident because of this we will never go back every and I will right a bad review everyday!! This is not how you run a business and we will make everybody knows so stay away from good looking dave automotive repair NO GOOD!! read more

i brought my car in for some deal with my headlights said it was going to be quick and he was going to call me when finish or if didn't manage to get it done, 3 hours passed and had to call the shop for them to tell me that they couldn't and to text them the brand of my new headlights, did so and they never saw the text so an hour passed and I called again and told me he was still trying, an hour later I had to show up to pick my car up just to find it parked and now being worked on, asked if they could switch out the inside of my old headlights to the new ones since they don't plug and play, and said they didn't do that kind of job, took my car to get some gas and noticed there was some fresh "sealant" on the glass to the back of it with a big gap, so I called asking if they had opened up my headlights and denied it, and then texted me they did to see if they could switched out the insides, now my headlight has water in it and glass is also falling off, also missing a few things like caps to my bulbs read more

BEST MECHANIC HANDS DOWN. I am so impressed with GLD auto. I recently was stranded in Salt Lake because my car died on me. Dave did an excellent job of diagnosing and fixing the problem. He's great about showing you what's going on and what he is doing. PLUS - he goes the extra mile, by routine checks of oil and fluid levels and topping off the air in tires. While doing that he discovered that my car was almost completely out of oil and so did a quick oil change and filled it up. My family used to take our car's to Dave's for years, until we all realized every vehicle we took to them was constantly having check engine light issues, and were constantly in the shop for expensive repairs! I myself took 3 different cars to Dave over a few years, they all had constant check engine lights on, whilst I was having repairs done at Daves', all were different brands, but yet they all seemed to always have bad C02 sensors that prevented me from passing inspection and having to get replaced, for a couple hundred bucks a pop. Same thing with my dad and sisters cars. When I bought my current car it was perfectly fine for a year and half, no issues, no check engine light. Till I lent it to my mom for a weekend and she burned out my clutch. Took it into Dave's to be replaced, after the $1500 repair I go pick it up and low and behold within 10 minutes of driving off their lot, guess what happens... My check engine light pops on, take it back into dave's, and well what do ya know, my C02 sensor had gone bad! Wasn't that just the biggest coininkadink!! Also had a family friend who took his cars there and had the same sentiments, his vehicles always seemed to be having one issue or another after being serviced by Dave and his crew. Do not go here, or you will have to keep coming back, and not in a good way. You'll end up spending thousands on repair after repair. I've been coming to GLD's Auto for 10+ years and i can honestly say that i have no complaints about this business. In the world of sketchy auto shops where you get hassled and overcharged/under serviced, this is a place that i can bring my auto in and not have to worry. Everything from minor fabrication (when a steel bumper fell off), to a major thing like transmission service, to things like suspension/break/exhaust and engine repairs. I've just about had it all done here. Great part is ZERO issues after the fact with the service and parts provided. That to me means that the estimate/assessment was spot on, and the work was done right the first time. How many people can say that with an auto shop these days? Usually its like "hey my brakes won't work" and you get that fixed and a week later something else fails, or the brakes weren't done exactly right and you're back the following month.
