They have consistently come through with excellent washing, top-notch communication, great prices, timeliness, and an openness to figure out creative solutions. Laundry is HARD! Everyone's got their different preferences, there's tons of things to keep track of, and traffic and logistics is completely unpredictable in the Bay Area. I've used several different services in SF and in Oakland and Lave Wash is by far the best. I am so happy to have found when I did, after another service just didn't work out. My wedding dress cost about $100 for dry cleaning and preservation in a nice keepsake box. My husband's barong Tagalog cost $19 to dry clean and his undershirt for the barong cost $6.99. We opted for pick up and delivery to our home. Service was friendly and our clothes came back in great condition. I went in store to pay for my order since my card wasn't working for the online payment. I was able to speak with one of the owners, Cleo, who was very kind and you could tell he is passionate about his business. Parking was easy and the inside of the laundromat was clean. The only I issue I had was that the delivery date for my dress was incorrect. I waited at home from 8 AM to 12 PM (the estimated timeframe of delivery) the day our laundry was supposed to be delivered and ended up calling the store to inquire where it was. I think the company can improve by giving a more accurate delivery date for special items like wedding dresses or update the customer via text or phone call if the expected delivery date has changed. Thankfully, my husband was able to be home on the new delivery date to receive our clothes. That being said, I still had an overall great experience with Fresh Laundries due to the friendly service, ease of booking the dry cleaning service, fair price, and the outcome of the dry cleaning. I would definitely use them again if I need something else dry cleaned in the future.

Everything smelled good, was folded well including my socks and underwear, and were placed in clear bags to keep them orderly and sanitary. Plus it was super affordable! The owner has even entered "heavy starch" into my customer profile, yet it is still hit or miss whether my clothes are prepared the way I requested. I spend an average of $60 per visit, which is too much money to have such a simple request ignored. Heavy starch is not a special or complicated request. It should be done consistently every time. This is a good business, and when they are on, they are on. I just wish they would provide the same level of consistency every visit.

It would take her a while. She had other projects she needed to finish first. I was okay with this. A busy seamstress means she is in high demand. She texted me later when she started on my pants.
