My first time using this tailor. I'm pleased with the alteration results on my pants (standard hem). I noticed in her work that she's an expert tailor. Also, she irons the area of the hem which other alteration places I tried doesn't offer that service which is strange since it should be included. The pricing is reasonable and fair. She was very accommodating, communicative, and completed my alterations at the timeframe she promised. I use crutches to walk and she was very helpful. I advise those who are interested to try this tailor to not hesitate asking her any of your questions. Her current hours of operation are Tuesdays and Fridays. Rodenna did an amazing job! I needed my dress hemmed for my wedding and I even came in a little close to my wedding date but she got it done just in time! Rodenna graciously & patiently answered all my questions through the Yelp messaging app, something that's not always a given with other businesses. Her prices for service are very reasonable. And she can handle most any project. She hemmed two pair of men's dress slacks for me expertly. Her shop is conveniently located on the first floor of the Georgia St, Plaza Mall just inside the main entrance. Plenty of free parking surrounding the location. She's got a dedicated, full-size dressing room for larger guy's like me when a curtain and a corner in a dry cleaner's won't cut in for changing. The business is located close to a few notable downtown eateries, including right next door to Bambino's. Gracie's BBQ, Provisions & My Homestyle Cafe are within walking. I read the great reviews, contacted her. She replied right away which I appreciated. She requested I call her and provided her number. I called and she was rude as soon as she answered. She asked how the dress was made .She had attitude and her tone was just rude! I was confused as how to answer that and she proceeded to ask how wide the dress is again I'm confused and quiet and let her know we need it cut about 4 inches. She lets me know she needs to look at the dress to see if she's able to, I ask when can we come and she rudely cuts me off tells me she needs to look at the dress and see if she can do it. I ask again when this time I'm able to finish my sentence and ask when can we stop by SO SHE CAN TAKE A LOOK. She tells me they open at 10:30am. As desperate as I was for the service I refused to step in. She may be good at her job but her phone etiquette gets 0 stars. If I could give zero stars I would. Rodenna was rude from the start. My first interaction was on the phone, answered by a rude HELLO? No way a business woman answers a phone and speaks that way. I recently had liposuction/bbl surgery, and needed my faja taken in. If you knew anything about a faja, you'd know that it is 100% normal to drain on the garment. I would never ever give a dirty garment to alter. That's just disgusting. (It's been 3 weeks since my surgery, 2.5 weeks since I stopped bleeding) I've washed the garment plenty of times and even another two times before even bringing it to her! I've also stopped by the business 3 days in a row only being half serviced today. Just for her to tell me she's not doing it because she doesn't want to. Waste of my time! Rude, no type of customer service. Coming from myself, a business owner, very VERY unprofessional. Rodenna was great to work with and the prices were appropriate and affordable. I bought clothes online from one of the Instagram adds and some did not fit the way I wanted them to. Since they offered me half off to keep the clothes, I decided to get them altered. Rodenna knew just what to do to make them look right on me. The main issue is that these clothes were made for taller people. She was very efficient and down to earth.
