I called and they just so happened to be making gluten-free donuts at the time. the donuts were fresh. They were almost like melt in your mouth good. My kid said that they taste a lot like churros. We got the chocolate glaze donuts. I did ask about the details behind how they're made. They're made on one side of the kitchen in a dedicated fryer. The table is dedicated gluten-free. All the utensils are dedicated gluten-free. That said for celiac people it is still all made in the same kitchen, so just be mindful of that. These donuts were incredible. 2 stars? Let me tell you why. I really wanted to love this place because on paper it checks a lot of boxes. The location is convenient, the store itself is impressively large, and there is a wide variety of options to choose from. Prices are also reasonable, which makes it an easy stop if you are in the area and just want to grab something quickly. Unfortunately, the experience falls apart once you get past the surface. The customer service felt unwelcoming, particularly if you are not a regular or clearly part of the local crowd. The vibe was more cold than hospitable, which is disappointing for a place that clearly sees a lot of foot traffic. As for the food, the donuts are actually pretty decent and show some promise. However, the sausage in the kolaches was a letdown in both flavor and quality and detracted from what could have been a solid offering. The bread used for the biscuits and similar items is also very specific to this shop and while some may enjoy it, it was not to my taste and felt more odd than comforting. Overall, this is a spot with potential but inconsistent execution. So here's the thing... I'm not a huge fan of their donuts. The donut holes are dense and there's not much glaze on them. They do have fun donuts with Fruity Pebbles or Cinnamon Toast Crunch - they re ok, but again lots of dough. The balance of icing or glaze to dough is off. Now onto the best part - their sausage rolls are really good! They have different options for these, including a boudin jalapeño sausage! What's interesting is their sausage rolls don't have as much dough as you'd usually see elsewhere, and they're great! The dough is like a cross between a bagel and donut. We just to moved to area and came here a couple times. I wish they were friendlier. The first time I thought maybe we just caught them at a bad time so I let it slide. The second time they again were quiet and stand offish again. The donuts are dry and doughy almost stail tasting. The sausages were not fresh. They look good but lack flavor. Took grandkids here the morning and bought some sausage rolls . These were the worse ever , dry more dough than anything . Even the grandkids pulled the dough off and just ate the sausage . The donuts were really not better , so that being said. Won't waste my money going back . read more

I've never had such fresh donuts in my life! Seriously the best ever. I first messaged hoping for a miracle. Do they make gluten free donuts? They do special order! So we placed an order for a dozen with several different options. My boys have celiac and they said they were the best donuts they have ever had. The owner was right! I ordered a few regular donuts for myself and they put filling in them right in-front of us. Never seen this before, what a treat. The owner is responsive and the staff is friendly. Hate to bash a local shop, but I did not have the greatest experience here. We walked in and the staff was not quick to take our order, and not the friendliest. The shop was a mess - the kitchen was dirty and the sitting area had boxes everywhere. It was not presentable to customers. It was unreasonably expensive for what we ordered. The kolaches did not look appetizing and looked like they had been sitting out for days. The store advertises coffee as one of their main offerings, but the coffee was very bland and the creamer options were the store-bought powdered creamer. Not what you would expect from a coffee and donut shop. Not impressed. read more
