I picked up my fliers a couple hours later and was charged almost $20. If I had been told how much it would be from the start, I would not have ordered them. The only reason I ordered that many was because I was told for only 50 of them it would cost me $15, so I went with the cheaper option. I will not be using The Color Mill again.

I understand they are a business and that they have the legal right to charge a handling fee. My issue isn't that they charged a fee, it's just that $20.00 feels excessive for simply handing over a package that was already there. In a small community, moments like these are an opportunity to build good will and customer loyalty. A more reasonable fee or a small handling fee would have left a much better impression. Instead I walked away feeling like a small mistake became an unnecessary expense. I respect their right to run their business as they see fit, but this experience left me disappointed.
