Visiting the area for vacation and went to six thrift stores in one day. This was one of them. This location was very well organized, the volunteers at the register were very entertaining, and there were quite a few unique items. The store is clean. That being said, most items are very over priced. Signage of pricing is also not easily visible, had to ask the volunteers at the counter for prices. It is confusing as the children's clothes were affordable, the outdated VHS and DVD's were double the price of what we saw all day. The adult clothing was double what we saw all day. A kids bike was $20 here and not in great condition and at other stores the bike would be $5 in better condition. I'd recommend checking this location out though, it is worth a walk through. The staff is ever so nice, very helpful, always willing to assist. It's nice to go in and shop, and you have freedom of movement.​

For a Christian Outreach charity organization, there are some very rude employees that need to put some smiles on their faces and PRETEND to like their jobs. These 2 women at the checkout counter were nasty and scowling the whole time. There is some attitude issues going on here and it's not the first time. It's a great store, but a few bad apples make you leave there wondering why you gave a place like that your money, and who the heck hired these people and continue to keep them there. read more

Absolute favorite thrift in the area. Could spend hours digging around. Great prices. The staff are MOSTLY friendly..

It is very small and crowded. I feel like there weren't many clothes available for adults, but there were a ton of books.

The shop is clean, organized. Some items are priced a bit ridiculously high for a thrift shop. Some items you can buy new for what they're selling for. Only time to really get a good deal is if they're running a sale on items you may need. I've had good and bad cashiers. But, the good have outweighed the bad here. Anyone can have a rotten day. This neighborhood doesn't have many shopping options besides Walmart so this thrift store is excellent if your looking to browse and treasure hunt. Some items are expensive but others are fairly priced for second hand. read more

For a christian establishment, the ladies running this store are EXTREMELY rude. Apparently having a stroller with a baby in it is frowned upon and we will not be returning. We had every intention to money in this store but put the stuff back because of the loud and rude nature of the employees running the store. read more

Every time I go to that store it's so loud with the ladies being so rude with her laughter insulting customers and selling fake jewelry they should be ashamed of themselves that business and they won't even do anything to make it right with a customer at this point they don't even deserve any stars read more

This place use to be great on prices, they recently got a new manager whom apparently is pricing everything at antique store prices. It blew my mind walking in and seeing prices being jacked up that much in a throaty shop that gets donated items to sell. I use to shop here 3 years ago before we pcsed It was always a great place with great prices on everything. Because of the prices on furniture, & glass items have been marked up nothing has really moved out except clothing here. Really wish it would go back to how it use to be with lower prices on everything. read more

The manager who is supposed to be a Christian is a terribly rude manager and need to learn customer service. When speaking to her she even called her volunteers a BUNCH OF IDIOTS! Yes the volunteers are mostly very rude but for a manager to call them idiots is WRONG! Then the prices are thru the roof! I love supporting ministries but not this one if that's how the represent the church. BEWARE especially of the manager . read more

A wonderful place to shop for bargains and they provide so much for our community's people in need! They use the money from the store to provide food for the food bank, they clothe the homeless and so much more. They often have sales like bogo or $1 days on certain items. The people who work in the store do so voluntarily and are always so helpful and nice. read more

Oh my word, it has gotten worse... wanted to add pictures. This is not a thrift store. I don't know why I continue to hope to find some goodies for a reasonable price. It's so sad that ESTATE sales and even consignment shops have become cheaper than this thrift store? read more

I go here frequently. It's very clean and well organized. The prices are a little higher but I know this is also a non profit that gives back so I don't mind. The ladies are always super nice and helpful! read more

This morning I made a donation at the Good Neighbor Thrift store. I decided to take a look inside. They had a 1/2 price plug in sale! I bought 2 matching table lamps that had no lampshades. They had a green sticker indicating they worked with the date of inspection but the cashier kindly plugged them in anyway and we saw the bulbs light up. At home I tried to put on my lampshades and saw the lamp had been sold to me without the lampshade hardware. I promptly went back and the kind cashier apologized about the missing hardware. She tried to give me a refund but didn't know how on the register-so the Manager was called. The Manager (short blond haircut) said no refunds despite being shown the missing hardware then turned to me and said "you want me to make an exception because you made a bad decision?" She then offered to let me rummage through a box for some hardware! There were other customers waiting and I felt embarrassed. I said, "I've donated here for years and been a regular costumer, but I just want to leave your store." As I turned to leave she handed me a refund. For a store that operates on "Good Neighbor" values the Manager was terrible. read more

Some of the RUDEST "volunteers" I've ever had the pleasure of encountering!! And on more than one occasion, which is why I'm writing a review. Not the kind, Godly people you would expect to be running a Methodist thrift store. Even though it's a local business, and I'm all about supporting our local economy, I will never patronize this establishment again! read more

My experience with this store was fabulous. The customers were kind and the cashiers were lovely. The prices and the goods were phenomenal.

I used to like stopping by when I was near. Prices have gotten higher than any other thrift store around (at least for the items I buy). And the employees (maybe because they are volunteers?) have never been very nice. Especially when it gets close to their (4pm!) closing time. Hard to get here to shop in time. I wish them the best - I think it's a Church charity. But they would do better to lower prices and be nicer. read more
