Thinking I was the only nerd in the car I go for the door only to be beaten by another passenger. This place had some cool, decently priced stuff with a range of products that definitely helped us get our nerd fix. I would have liked to be engaged by the employee but it didn't bother me that he was quiet. We made our purchases and headed on our way up the mountain.

Southgate Station boasts many unique stores such as California Redwood Signs, Good Ol' Things Collectibles, Angry Bear Mining Co., Yosemite Hot Spot, Wish on a Star Garden, Super Shabby Rehab, and a few antique/thrift gift shops. Believe me, there is something here for everyone! We had fun just slowly meandering through the huge "junkyard" of whimsical sculptures and "trash or treasures."
