Today we stopped here at the Trading post, we were met by the owner Ahmad, he had so many different collections of souvenirs and clothing, so much to choose from and his prices where unmatched by other stores in the area. Stopped by here after a camping trip from Bass Lake to look for stickers. There were about 4 different types of stickers and the rest were mostly Yosemite souvenirs. The place was a nice stop and the staff was one of the nicest ones we encountered during the trip. Store was nicely laid out and it was pretty relaxing just shopping around and discovering cool finds. We also got a guitar pick with Bass Lake written on it and I find it pretty cool. Definitely worth the stop before heading back home. read more

We visited this shop about six months ago during one of our regular visits to Oakhurst and absolutely loved it! We met one of the owners, Ahmad, and he made us feel right at home and even told us a the background behind some of the items we were interested in buying, including the Navajo sand art magnets and some of the hand carved bears. He was so great and definitely made us fall in love with this shop. We returned to Oakhurst for our winter visit and knew we had to return! During this visit, we met the other owner, Jamal. He made us feel just as much at home as Ahmad. He gave us the story on the maple syrup we wanted to purchase. If you are visiting Oakhurst, I would definitely recommend stopping here! They have a great selection of items and you will feel more than just a customer. I highly recommend snagging a cute bear or two! read more

We wanted ice cream and headed to Reimer's. We had just finished eating a huge meal and needed to walk around. Yosemite Falls Trading Post has such a wide variety of souvenirs. Excellent selection of Yosemite items that far exceed what you find inside the park. The service was an A++ with excellent recommendations from the cashier on places to stop if we had time while in town. The store is located next door to Reimer's so grab some ice cream and pick up your souvenirs before heading inside the park. read more

My husband and I stopped by Yosemite Falls Trading Post on our way out of Yosemite to grab some souvenirs for ourselves and our family--and we're so glad we did! Based on photos and its location near our hotel (and right next to an ice cream shop), it seemed like the perfect stop, and it absolutely was. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by Jamal, who was incredibly friendly and eager to help. I was looking for a specific sweater I had seen online, but Jamal suggested an even better one--and I ended up falling in love with it! He had such great recommendations, not just for items in the store, but also for things to do in the area. We ended up chatting for quite a while, and he even suggested we check out Bass Lake--which we did--and it was stunning! To top it all off, Jamal treated us to ice cream next door (delicious!) and even let us sample some tasty honey. His hospitality, warmth, and helpfulness truly made our experience memorable. The customer service alone makes this place worth a visit, and we'll definitely be coming back next time we're in Yosemite! read more

During our visit to Yosemite National Park, my wife and I stayed overnight in Oakhurst, and in the morning we stopped by Yosemite Falls Trading Post. We're so glad we did! The shop has a wonderful selection of gifts and souvenirs, all thoughtfully chosen. The owner was incredibly welcoming and went out of his way to make our visit memorable, even surprising us with a thoughtful keepsake for our future baby. This place is a must stop shop for anyone visiting Yosemite. It has everything that you could possibly need for souvenirs whether it's for the wife with their amazing collection of jewelry or for the husband looking for unique and rare knives for daily use and or collection. The same can be said for the kids. Plenty of toys and other small gifts for friends or family. During my time there, Ahmad the stores primary manager took care of my girlfriend and I with educating us on the craftsmanship of the each knife and piece of jewelry that had in their stock. By doing so it showed how much time and dedication is put into the jewelry and knives making them high quality works of art with fair prices attached to them. read more

I have never felt so welcome and appreciated by a shop owner as when I walked into the Yosemite Falls Trading Post and was welcomed by Ahmed. He pointed out what was on sale and what the regular priced shirts were priced at. He helped me select an awesome walking stick for my husband, pointed out jewelry that was handmade by the Navajos and so much more. I had been recommended to go to this gift shop by 2 other gift shops in town! By far this souvenir store has the greatest selection of t-shirts and hoodies for Yosemite and even some for Bass Lake. The selection is wide and varied. I would say it's your one stop shop for Yosemite souvenirs. I intend to stop by there on every visit to Yosemite. Stopped at this little shop on our recent visit to the area. The two brothers that own it were absolutely amazing. So kind, so friendly, so helpful. And so many cool gifts in their shop. We ended up going back four days in a row and found something new to buy each time. We enjoyed talking with these guys. They went above and beyond for our group. Even giving one of our family members some toys to take back to Hawaii for her grandkids who lost everything in the recent fire. Thank you Ahmad and Jamal for your kindness. The people working the station were pretty cool and made conversation about all the stuff they carry. You can find so much, from vintage signs, cool home accessories, clothes, and so much more. Lots of collectibles throughout the station. Make sure to explore all the areas because there is so much to see. Prices are great, and you can find lots of hidden gems throughout the vendors' stores. If I am ever in the area, I will definitely stop by to see any new things they have added to their collections.

We love thrifting and was so happy to see her pop up tent in the parking lot to show it was open. This place is filled to the brim. Clothing, Books, albums, houseware such as Pyrex & china. You have to have a good eye to search as it will become overwhelming. Spent almost an hour in here browsing & ended up with 2 tshirts, some vintage CDs & a top for daughter. Prices are reasonable $4- and up. Saw a few high ticket items such as a vintage fur coat for $100. The owner was nice and helpful giving info and directions to people shopping.

This is seriously one of THE COOLEST stores I've ever been in. My wife and I spent over a hour browsing around. I'd honestly say there's something here for the entire family. It's a much bigger store than you'd think, full of antiques, toys, clothes, jewelry, souvenirs, collectibles, movie props, war memorabilia, etc. Do not leave Oakhurst without stopping by!!
