I felt like l'd been coming here for years from the very first visit. The beds are amazing! with new, hot bulbs and the spray tanning is so fast and convenient! They even have a "Red Light Therapy" bed here! | cannot believe how good I felt after the Light therapy session. I feel and see a noticeable difference after only 1 time in it. I feel like a million bucks when I leave here. The best part is they're open by appointments earlier than the posted regular walk in hours, so I'm in and out early and quickly on days I have to work! They have a lot of lotion options from top names all the way to cheaper brands and a lot of times they run 20 -30% off specials. Their hours work with almost any schedule. I especially like how late they are open. The staff always asks me how my day is/was. They also have a business card promotion table. I admire that they allow other businesses to promote themselves in their store. Parking can be a bit of an issue because they share an already small parking lot with other businesses and during peak hours (about 4-7p m-f) it can get pretty crowded so there may be a wait on the bed you want. The staff has always told me how long the wait will be and offered a different bed with less of a wait time whenever I am in a rush.

Sure, who doesn't prefer a smile. But if my car is ready to roll in less than 10 minutes or that red wine comes out of my dress without leaving a mark, I will gladly forfeit any pleasantries. And I say all that to say this, some feel the same when it comes to haircuts. Not I. Yes, I am paying for the expertise, timeliness, and convenience (scheduling) first and foremost. But I do not want to sit in awkward silence while you clean up my neck or run the clippers over my skull wrinkles. I do not want to hear you complain about another customer or a messed up drink order at some franchise "coffee" shop. I want to have an enjoyable conversation with another human being. And if you have cool pets onsite, that's a bonus. I began coming here in the summer of 2021. Like some, I had let my hair grow out thanks to a Pandemic spurred motivation. But the time had come to get back to my roots (pun intended). Thankfully the hair stylist my wife went to was willing to take me as a client and also (the staff overall) practice health precautions. Soon I was in the chair and curls were piling up on the floor. Since then I have grown my hair back out, shaved it to stubble, and found a happy medium. I have graduated from Augusta University, taken time off to write, and am on the final stretch of grad school. My stylist, Devon, has had major life events of her own, but always waiting on me with a smile and clippers. With everything that has shifted, and is shifting, in my life these past three years she remains a deeply appreciated constant. Though I cannot speak to the numerous other services the team at Undertone provide, I have no doubt they are of the same excellent caliber. Also, be sure to say hello to Boris.
