He is in a small but clean and relaxing studio in Arroyo Grande. His deep tissue massage hit all the right spots, all the while still keeping me in a relaxing state. All past deep tissue massages I have had focus on finding a knot, and killing you until it hurts. His is based in kinesiology (which I didn't know about until I saw Shawn), but it is definitely something you need on a regular basis. This was my first visit to him, but definitely not the last. We know no one in the area, so we took a chance and called the number to set up an appointment; Shawn Cabalka answered the phone immediately, was available, and arrived within about 10 minutes; more importantly, he fixed the problem. Next day I was hiking on the dunes, pain-free for the first time in weeks. Came back for another treatment before we left town, it was that effective.
