First, let me say this is integrative bodywork, an amazing technique that greatly helps release tension. And one of the best parts is I didn't have to get undressed. Her office is beautifully lit and has a feng shui feel, and put me at ease immediately. After several questions, she got to work. With Jeanine, her no nonsense approach had my tight muscles and tendons releasing their tension in no time. Her touch, with her palpable healing energy, went to work on my targeted tight spots with a loving and purposeful intent, always communicating with me. The work I did with Jeannine L. Rashidi, AD was integral in my part of coming off of suppressive psychiatric medication that I had been on some form of close to 20 years and transitioning to another and better Western medicine. I've known Jeannine since I first went to her for a massage at her old location on Bascom Ave. Her current location is close to Santana Row and most of the major freeways so getting to her shouldn't be a problem. I get a lot of tension headaches and because of that I've seen a fair amount of massage therapists in the area. None of them can compare to Jeannine. She really takes her time in getting to know you and why you're there to see her. That way, she can cater to your specific needs rather than wasting time on other areas that don't need that much attention. I've had both her massage and PUSH therapy and they are both great! She has strong hands and uses good technique enough to put good pressure and at the same time making you feel so relaxed. I also came in to see her one time because I felt very tight around the shoulders and neck. She did PUSH therapy and it worked out most of the pain I was feeling. Afterwards, she recommended an S-shaped back tool that I can use to put pressure on the areas in my back, which I ended up buying and just that little tool helps put my muscles at ease. read more

I started seeing Jeannine in October 2020 when I was in serious physical distress. Her calming demeanor, caring disposition and wealth of knowledge were instrumental in helping me get better. I met Jeannine at the DailyFest 2015 and won a session with her. I had been dealing with a lack of mobility in my left thumb and had been diagnosed with "trigger finger" after injuring it bike riding. I could not bend my thumb (I could not button my shirts or open a jar). I tried physical therapy and immobilizing the thumb with a splint- nothing helped. I was told I needed surgery to release the tendon. I was curious about Ayurvedic healing as a long-time yoga practictioner, but was not optimistic that it would resolve my thumb issue completely. I was wrong! After the first few treatments (1 hour each) and using my thumb tool ("Mr. Thumbkin") at home, I started to see improvement. Jeannine worked on the tendon from the elbow to the thumb and in the thumb joint. It was painful at times. After six treatments with Jeannine, I now have full mobility and use of my thumb. I recently visited Jeannine's clinic, and was so glad I did. She's a pleasant and relaxed person who is easy to be around, and is also great at what she does. She has clearly taken the extra steps to become an exceptional therapist, and also seems to have a sharp sense of intuition. The session was extremely productive and I felt stronger and healthier when I left, balanced. As a distance runner, I don't often find massage therapy alone to be effective at managing the overuse injuries I tend to get, but this was the exception. I was looking for a Life Coach to come speak to my high school's alumnae networking group, and I came across Jeannine's business on Yelp. I started seeing Jeannine about a year ago with major stomach issues after having my gall bladder out earlier last year. I attended a Presentation ABA meeting today at which Jeannine was the featured speaker. I had no idea what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised to find that we would be lead through a visualization/goal setting exercise. Although this kind of process is difficult for me, she was helpful with her prompts and her 'kind and gentle' voice. Jeannine is the best massage therapist I have ever found! I had been suffering from a nagging tension headache for about 2 weeks and did not know how to get rid of it.
