I've been a client of Mark for 3 years now and I couldn't fathom having a better barber. Mark is just an easy going, laid back guy. Cool as a fan and skilled with some clippers. This is a classic barbershop. You know the kind where everyone speaks to everyone? There's always a topic of discussion and conversations are always respectful and insightful. You're definitely gonna get a good laugh and great haircut. The fellas are equally personable as they are professional. Mark uses The Cut app to book appointments and we've never had any booking issues - Mark5iVe The Barber. Mark also uses a straight razor, and if you know, then you know, that's a sign of a skilled barber. Prices are consistent and reasonable. Mr. Tim and Jacob are great too. I have brought my 4 sons to this shop for over 8 years. The shop is outstanding!!!! The positive vibes, the conversations around the topic of the day, and the different Barbers (characters) keeps the energy moving. We have mostly been walk-in's and I have to admit, I love it this way. Because, I can enjoy the conversations and energy that these wonderful men provide. If you make an appointment your in and out and to be honest you don't get to enjoy the experience the camaraderie of everyone in the shop. If you have ever watched the movie Barber Shop with Ice Cube this is the same atmosphere without the drama. All the good without the bad. Who would want to come here. Sad that my last baby is a senior and I won't have an excuse to go sit with the guys. read more

My son has been going to Goodfellas since he was 3, that's a decade. You can't find a better barbershop in the neighborhood. The barbers are all top-notched. Tim has created a very special atmosphere at Goodfellas. You don't just go for a cut, you go for the experience. Very pleased with my kids hair cut and they had a fun time with the men in the shop and they made the boys feel comfortable.

I have been going here for years and can't say anything negative. I like the values (e.g. no swearing) and the people. I don't have a particular favorite and have had many barbers here. They have all cut my hair just as asked (military/Marine--but a bit longer:)). I've engaged in conversations of all types (family to football) and enjoy not talking politics. The wait can sometimes be long--but i've only experienced this rarely because i don't ask for a particular barber. Hopefully they are open right now because i haven't been there since the virus began. read more

Goodfellas is the spot!! My son has been frequenting there for years. Tim, the owner is well known in the Smyrna area. He's professional and keeps a clean establishment. I really appreciate all the barbers being aware children are present and behaving accordingly. (Smile) One particular barber we are very fond of is Ricco! There are so many good things about this shop. The men are kind and funny but the only thing that truly bothers me is that they don't care too much about people's time. If you want to get in and out I guess you have to come as soon as they open or call ahead of time. read more
