It's so much more personal than the tattoo "factory" feel you get from a shop with multiple chairs and artists. Getting a tattoo is one of the most personal things you can do and the environment here shows that Angelo knows that and has taken that into account when creating the Dark Lab. From the televisions mounted over the chair where you can watch whatever you like to the studio quality headphones if you want to listen to your own music and be in your own world while he creates a permanent work of art for you. I can't forget to me til the complimentary snack bar and the tattoo caddy to hold all of your things while he works. Like ok tattoo artists are supposed to be prepared. This session is now taking longer than it should. 2 days later my tattoo got infected so I had to reschedule and gave them another deposit of $100. Then I had to reschedule again and gave Chris another $100. Then I missed my appointment by 1 day because I was just finishing up my bathroom remodel so I completely forgot about my appointment. Chris calls me the next day and tells me that the owners decided to keep my money instead of having some compassion. Their thieves and the shop is dirty.

Sooo I had my ear pierced a year ago September. I went back…read morein April to have the earring resized however they would not put a shorter post in because it was still swollen. I finally was able to go to their new location to have a new post put in! It cost me $10 for the post and $10 dollars to have her put it in in under 30 seconds. $20 seems a bit steep for something I had done originally at the same business and was told it would be $10 previously. A nice addition was the numbers for the new post were printed on my receipt so I am able to buy my own earring from the large selection on the internet :)) The young lady who has the piercing duties fell flat. Three stars for high pricing that I imagine helps pay for the new space which was much nicer than the previous one :) You can trust me, I need more cow bell ;D
