The worst BBQ I've ever eaten. I've had BBQ from Memphis, TN., Kansas City, Oklahoma and Texas. Some of the most well known places in the Country for BBQ. I wouldn't waste my money on Goodman's BBQ. People who give this place more than one star really don't know what Good BBQ really is. read more

You need to visit this place, fall off the bone tender meats, and AMAZING smoke flavor. this place is about as good as it gets. Oh yeah did I mention that the prices are also AMAZING, the four meat sampler (ribs, chicken, beef, pork) comes with two sides, garlic bread, and a cobbler all for less than ten bucks!! Wow the pork rinds and fried green tomatoes will have us coming back again!!!!! Rinds were sooooooooo good. Fried green tomatoes batter was GREAT and the ranch was thick and some of the best we have had. Sweet tea was good, sweet, but not too sweet, and strong tea flavor. Husband and I split the 4 meat combo. Next time we will just stick to the ribs. They were tender, moist and flavorful. Next favorite for the meats was beef than pork. Turkey was ok, nothing bad, but not as good as the other meats. For our sides, bbq beans and slaw. Beans very good (smokey and sweet). Slaw, ok (lot of dressing with great flavor but watered down). The bread is perfectly toasted and nice and buttery on both sides. Finished the meal off with some peach cobbler. Sweet, but not overly sweet, with a great buttery taste. The service is horrible. The place is ran by kids and there is no organization at all. You call an order in and they tell you 25 min. That's fine. 25 min later you go in and they seem to panic, disappear and make your order. It gets slopped into a to go plate with food and grease all over the outside of the plate. You then have to check the order and wait on whatever they did not put in the first time. There is also always a line at the register to pay because the cashier is taking phone orders, being interrupted by the waitresses (in the middle of transactions) and having conversations with someone behind the person paying. MAmazing food for the prices and quantity! We had a full bbq rib meal, a full 2 meat 'combo' meal that came with 2 large sides and 2 appetizers (small size fried green tomatoes and nothing small about it) and also order of fried pork skins (also huge) and 2 beverages for $23, yes $23 AMERICAN DOLLARS. I wasn't crazy about the chicken in my meal but I don't generally like breast because it always seems dry to me so I should have specified what piece I wanted, but the flavor seemed good. The ribs...to die for. They were not "fall off the bone" as the menu states (I prefer to gnaw the meat off mine so I thought they were perfect) very moist and tender with a delicious smokiness and multiple delicious homemade bbq sauces from which to choose. Cole slaw was good, it was very fresh and not drowning in dressing which is good but otherwise pretty average. The only thing I didn't care for was the potato salad. It didn't taste homemade so if it was it just wasn't my "style" of potato salad ( too much " stuff" in it and too sweet for my taste.) Fried tomatoes were just okay but you couldn't beat the price, if in the mood I would get them again. Same for the fried pork skins, good but even better for the price. If in the area there is no question I would stop here again. Place could have been a touch cleaner but it was little things not big things so not a deal breaker. read more

This place is pure gold not open all the time but when the are it is delicious to say the very least I would put a baby bottle nipple on the top of their BBQ sauce and drink it straight if their food wasn't so good my favorite is the pulled pork sandwich on garlic bread and aside of fries with either Broccoli bites or corn nuggets if not both read more

The barbecue ribs are absolutely fantastic. Everything we had was very tasty and the service was very good. The ambiance leaves a lot to be desired but it's still worth a stop. The prices are unbelievably low, I almost felt like I was back in the 1960's. read more

Stopped here based on reviews. We much support local businesses and this is family owned. The parking lot was full and looked like a lot of locals frequent the place. I ordered the Friday special - BBQ ribs with a side - corn on the cob. For 7.50 I thought I might get maybe 3 ribs. There were at least 8 very meaty, tender ribs. Jim ordered the fried catfish dinner that came with 2 sides - only 8.95! Not only was the cost inexpensive, the dinners were super good. Dustin, our server, said we must be passing through since the place was jumping with recognizable locals. Dinners came with a choice of peach or blueberry cobbler. The special did not include dessert but Dustin said that since it was our first time he would bring me dessert too. We chose one of each - both yummy. Dustin was extremely friendly and he made us feel like one of the locals. Anyone driving near Perry FL (SE of Tallahassee) make it a point to stop and enjoy a great meal. read more
