I'm surprised that I am the first to review/place this business on Yelp. They opened two years ago…read moreand there was even a nice article about them in the Carolina News & Reporter from March 2023. They specialize in vintage clothing (evidently it has to be at least 20 years old). They hunt largely from donation/goodwill/etc centers and resell (they do not buy/consign). There selection is decent for both men and women. I found several ties (ranging from $10-15)... a bit steep for old ties. I offered to buy several if they would give me a quantity discount (one tie actually had an inch-long rip on the skinny/back half that would need mending eventually). They promptly declined. I've never had that happen! I then chose the one tie I liked the most and only purchased it. FYI, I take these to my tailor back home who "modernizes" them. For another $12 my tailor will hem them so they are 2-3/4 inches wide instead of 4+ inches. I get raves at the office all the time because the designs I search for are mid-century modern but the width is totally up to date. For a total of $25-30 I have a truly one of a kind. They are located about a block from the Five Points strip mall (which is probably the only place to park). On this Thursday afternoon we were the only ones browsing this airy, nicely lit, and organized business.

Pannerprete was an alright store. It seemed that their selection was quite limited, and that…read moreGoodwill would've been a better option to find some cool vintage gear. However, as a philatelist, (one who loves the study of mail) they did have a really cool selection of vintage postcards.

What a blast it is to go shopping at vintage shops. There's never a shortage of cool finds to look…read morethrough. Ageless is no different and had plenty of clothes to sort through. Upon entrance, the staff was very helpful in potentially pointing me in the right direction. I told them what I was looking for and they immediately searched through their database to see if they could show off some pieces. As I looked through some of their clothes, they came to me with some of the pieces that matched what I was in search of. Unfortunately, they weren't really a match but I kept shopping anyway. I ended finding a couple shirts that I really liked. I was able to try the clothes on to see if the fit was good. I decided to go ahead and purchase two shirts. I was all in about $50 for two shirts, but the prices can range heavily based on which themes of clothing, especially winter clothing. When checking out, the owner was very kind in talking with me. He even gave me some other shop recommendations more local to me up in Charlotte. They sent me on my way with a solid tote bag and some stickers. The personal touch is always so refreshing to see in a world where some much shopping is done online. I'm so glad I found this place and I look forward to returning when I'm in need of some more shirts.

This site had posted that they close at 6 pm on Saturdays. I arrived at 5:15 pm to find the store dark and locked up like Fort Knox. I looked at the hours sign on the window next to the door to verify that indeed they do close at 5 pm on Saturdays. That killed my attending my expensive event. I live about 35 miles from the store; the event is black tie optional and I need Columbia. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I realize yelp and the guys who own and run the store are two entirely different entities. I love this store, have bought many items here, have referred a number of gentlemen who have been outfitted for nice occasions, and will likely do more business here in the future. But yelp, you really messed me up. Get your info correct. The single star is not a blight on the store. It is for information I depended upon that was incorrect and cost me several hundred dollars for nothing because of yelp.
