This location sucks. Poor selection, very unorganized and the few nice items are over priced. Do better Goodwill.

Staff can be a rude sometimes and pricing is inconsistent. Have found some nice items here before though. Parking is ample and store is large and decently organized. Really dislike the fact that they do not allow you do look through the bins before the items are sorted like most thrift stores do. read more

Lots of reviews raved about this "mothership" Goodwill. Is it one of the better Goodwils in Dallas? Yeah I guess. Are Goodwill stores in Dallas very mediocre? Yes. I've been to way bigger and better Goodwill stores. The employees here are always very sweet, and I have scored a few cool things here but it's not worth the hype. read more

It was my first time coming to the "Mother" of all Goodwill stores in DFW and I am happy to say I had a pleasant experience! I came in looking for furniture and accent pieces I could use for my living room and found that and much more. The prices seem reasonable and stuff isn't all over the place like other thrift stores. The only downfall to this location was the staff. By the furniture side, was a man working and bringing out inventory ready to sell. I found an item I truly fell in love with but quickly saw it was missing a price tag. I asked the employee and all he did was look at me and walked away.. Hmm?? They could use a quick review of customer service etiquette if you ask me. Overall, ignoring this small bump on the road I had such a great time bargain hunting with my husband. read more

The cashier guy with the glasses and big smile has always delivered great service and very friendly. I can't say the same about his coworker or manager, whatever she was. I thrift there quite frequently, but this last trip will be my last. For a business that runs on donations, I think theses guys could ease up on the prices; they're rather high for secondhand items. If something is priced in wrong, that's their problem not mine. So I found a coat priced in at 10, and the cashier told me it was " not the right tag, it's a tag for a woman's blazer." And I was totally cool with her not selling it to me as she explained she couldn't. I told her I can't buy it then. No problems, but I figured she could've at least sold it as priced since the place is stocked by DONATIONS. Key word: FREE. I understand business is business, but Goodwill shouldn't feel like a corporation where money seems to be the main objective. I understand mistakes happen as I work in a place where everything gets priced in and sometimes they're priced it wrong. I just don't wanna participate in this business anymore. Whether it was the employee's or management's policy to correct miss priced items, it shouldn't put the customer in a position where he or she can't buy something because it was priced in wrong and they no longer can afford said item. Also, my niece found herself a jacket and a toy and I was ID'd to use my debit card, cash not being accepted on this day for some reason, and I didn't have it with me. So this same cashier told me I couldn't purchase without an ID. Half my fault, but really , how many stores are out there that don't ID for credit purchases? Plenty in my opinion. I've seen this same cashier, during a previous visit, fuss at her coworkers( or employees if she is a manager) about inventory on woman's coats saying they were short. She fussed from the cash register to an employee working across the store by the dressing room. That was kind of unprofessional to do in FRONT of costumers and kinda rude. Anyways, I'd be back to the friendly face if I ever do return . I'd stick to local thrift stores; find things for better prices and support small local businesses. :) Good day Good Will. read more
