I went in a found a fog machine for $10 thinking it was practically a steal I went to check out and…read morethe cashier looks at the $10 sticker and takes it off. Tells me this isn't right and proceeds to call someone to ask if they remembered what they priced it as. They didn't know so she told me I couldn't buy it and they have to put it through again. Are you kidding? For a store that gets everything for free you'd think she'd be a little more lax on the price they already put on it instead of trying to squeeze every dollar out of it. Even so I was happy to pay a little more but she wouldn't let me. Not a good experience definitely not going back to this goodwill.

I found a portable cassette radio for my back deck for .50 cents, it didn't have a power cord but I found a tote of cords and just ferreted one out...took me five minutes. Found shelf supports 1.00 for eight, big box store charges twelve dollars. Like the other reviewer said....the customers are different. When the "new" merchandise gets rolled out the people focus on that and will literally jostle and bump you out of the way to get first choice at the goods. Prices are super sweet...staff pleasant...lots of parking and great deals can be had if your willing to sift.

I went here with pure intentions of thrifting only to be met with skid rows twin brother. The floors were filthy and the air stale with a hideous smell. The people there were feral digging through the bins with no concern for respiratory health or scabies. My final straw was watching a child find a used diaper and wave it in front of his mother's unfazed face as if it were a golden ticket. I left promptly after.

After contacting a few different pest control companies I found Capital City. I like that Travis, the owner called me and said he'd be doing the initial appointment, himself. I had read the information he wrote about his business and why he started it on Yelp and in dealing with him personally I found things to be as he described them. He was personable and took the time to explain about the type of insects in our area and what's involved in keeping them away. I believe Capital City's prices are fair. You don't have to pay for corporate overhead, so you catch a break that way but they aren't low-ball where you know thr pest control person can only spend 5 minutes with you because they have so see tons of people to make a living.

A few of their regular employees are no longer there and the ones who are there are not friendly. Thrifting is a fun hobby - almost like a treasure hunt, but whoever is pricing the items in the store have priced out of the thrift store range and more into boutique level shopping. Their Master Gardener program will teach you to be an expert and is a great volunteer opportunity for those interested in gardening. Twice a year they have a hugely popular open house with information booths, tours of their demonstration garden maintained by the Master Gardeners and an awesome plant sale with great prices. The pandemic has put the kibosh on this for now but they have pivoted to zoom events with coordinated plant themes that you can purchase.
