She had seen a little stand-alone building behind HMart and Don Q... ahhh... it was in the parking lot against the stone wall! Since I'm in the area and always have a bag ready to go this Kapolei Shopping Center location was an unexpected find as I was going into Safeway and noticed the vibrant green container along side a recycling center. The sweet lady that's there has been doing this for over 20+ years shows the love they have for giving says it's always been here though it used to be a Goodwill container that got taken over and sits in the same position since. Great to know why some are larger and some are smaller is why it's all being converted to Green Drop and with multiple locations makes it a very convenient stop to keep the giving going strong. Unfortunately, I arrived during the worker's Lunch Break, which is between noon and 12:30pm. He was sitting in his car, under a tree. I parked next to him - in the shade. He smiled and said he would be there soon... No problem! Located at Kapolei Shopping Center (use the driveway between BedMart and Safeway), the pod opened promptly, and I entered my phone number onto the tablet for my receipt to be emailed to me. Very efficient! These GreenDrop pods and trailers are a national attempt to Reduce, Recycle, and Reuse! The donations are sold to thrift shops and the profits go to charities such as The American Red Cross... This pod advertised for United Cerebral Palsy... This is a worthy cause! Support if you can!

Donation for a good cause…read more.. I drove past this Green Drop trailer on Kamehameha Highway as I headed towards the Ewa side of the island and thought: "Hey! This is something new!" Located along the line of Food Trucks in the parking lot where Sears used to be (look for the red and white Leonard's Malasadamobile), Green Drop is a familiar name because there's a trailer in Kaneohe at Windward Mall! Same idea! Bo was very helpful when I walked up to turn in my package of stuff. I was already in the system, so he entered my phone number onto the tablet, and I received a confirmation email with a printable receipt. That's so efficient! Bo stated that the two Savers on Oahu work in conjunction with Green Drop, which is a national company. The funds raised from donated goods go to various charities such as The Red Cross. Ahhh... interesting! I am motivated more to purge and visit the other Green Drop locations in Kapolei and Kailua! Note: this location opened on 8-1-24.

This Pearlridge Center location is very easy to find as it shares space with other food trucks in the former Sears location making a drop off easy with lots of free parking. They seem to accept anything from clothes to household goods and the staff there is ready to help you if you have a lot or any heavy items, love to see these Green Drop trailers more and more around the island as making the drop is easier than purging items that I know I no longer need. Letting go of my treasures…read more.. As shopping at your local Goodwill you'll find some other's treasure. There comes a moment when I just need to purge to make room and create a relaxing space as though certainly not unwanted but items that has long been useful or needed and is in my opinion great items that hopefully will find home versus the landfill especially at reasonable cost. As the holiday seasons are slowly approaching is obvious with a section filled with Halloween decor and such items are a one time use it's nice to find price friendly deals. This Kapolei location is located on a road behind Costco amongst many industrial buildings and seems to be sharing the same lot with a school but since it was on a Sunday the parking lot was empty though filled with shoppers as many come here to shop and the donation drop off is the building right beside the store and is a very easy drop as a staff came up to me to help with the items. I had to give the shop a peek and see what they have and did find a small item that interested me and at the bargain price of $3.99 was amazing and will go into great use. Lots of clothing and seasonal items displayed making a great place to find options that are price friendly. Thank you!

Helping hands every single day..:…read more Continuing to purge and free myself from things I no longer need I decided to search for Salvation Army and conveniently they have one right in Stadium Mall in Salt Lake. It's located all the way at the end beside Goodyear you'll immediately see a container for the drop off. Even on this Fourth of July like clockwork the staff is there ready to accept your items just as I was done another large truck drove right up and dropped off a huge load including a vacuum and other household items makes seeing the giving doesn't stop here is a pleasant sight to see. This Salvation Army Donation Center is a great location to quickly drop off your items with the largest lot to drive up and give is very easy and am grateful for this convenient location. Thank you!

Since i was in the area finding a Green Drop here in Mililani is a great convenience as I'm able to drop my donation in a green bin located right in front of the large trailer that's parked in the lot of Christ Lutheran Church on Hokuwelowelo Place or the easiest description is across Town Center of Mililani. You just can't miss the huge green trailer a trademark that makes it easy to find and the staff here is very nice and helpful if you need assistance though i had some bags of clothing in an unused luggage love that each location is sponsored by a non profit and this one is by American Red Cross. Here in Hawaii recycling is important and donate items are going to some great cause is easy with some charities that will transform it with your items. Thank you!

I love that this place exists to help those families in need. In this day and age, there should be…read moreaccess to basic food needs for everyone, and the Hawaii Foodbank provides that, as well as any organization can. Every time I've stopped by to drop off a donation of food items, the employees and volunteers have been very helpful. Parking is very limited, with all the trucks and other equipment in the lot, so it's good that someone is usually outside to help. They allow me to stop at the front, and even bring a dolly and unload the food from my car to bring it in. They will also provide a written donation receipt, upon request. With the number of families losing their homes and everything during the recent storms, it's reassuring that the Hawaii Foodbank will be there to help provide relief.
