These weren't worn-out items. Many pieces were either unworn or in excellent condition. They called us back and said they decided not to take anything due to the "condition." Three full bags. All rejected. It was honestly a huge waste of time -- especially when you take the effort to carefully select higher-end, on-trend brands. Out of curiosity, we brought the exact same bags to Plato's Closet beforehand. They offered us over $200 for everything. So clearly, the "condition" wasn't the issue. Safe to say we'll be taking our business to Plato's Closet from now on. If you value your time and have quality brands, you might want to consider doing the same. Of course I'm not even sure what I'd call our style... but it's definitely eclectic, memorable, and repurposed. This Salvation Army is the perfect spot for finding goodies that can be repurposed. We've bought so many picture frames, candle holders, platters, vases, books, lamps, baskets, etc. We recently found a huge perfect couch for our office, only $65 on green sticker day! Such an incredible deal, especially because this couch is in such amazing condition -- no rips or tears or snags or stains, no smells, big & firm fluffy cushions. It's the best! We haven't shopped much in the clothing section, but they do have a lot going on. I'm sure if you spent the time digging you'd walk away with some great pieces.

Perhaps the most unique aspect of this store is the attention the owners have put into curating boutique-style, smaller local brands and labels. There are a lot of custom items in here with unique branding which usually equals higher quality than some of the massive chain store products. This also makes the shopping experience more fun, IMO. Their employees are not paid!!!! The 90% off sales are insane and We love seeing their volunteers friendly faces every time we go in. Being a Single mom of 2 boys this place has been an absolute blessing for name brand clothing for them and the best spot for teacher and classmate gifts! Saved a ton of money buying nice used sports equipment here as well. I go once a week at least sometimes twice. As far as the mask comments, I choose not to wear one. The volunteers are of many ethnic backgrounds and I've never , ever seen any racially motivated anything happening in this store !!! Every one is helpful and very accommodating. **** keep in mind this store like most other stores during COVID does not offer a public restroom. They do not have to either. I simply run across the street to any of the restaurants and use their restroom if needed. Also keep in mind nobody likes unattended children running through a store filled with glass ware and other antiques and breakables.
