BUT Super disorganized, which makes for a less than optimal shopping experience and increases the chance that items donated in good condition become cracked, broken or missing pieces. Interesting location. I've never seen a location like this one before. The concept of Goodwill is still alive and well, but this location was just different in an odd way. First thing I would like to address here is the fact that it just doesn't work. Sitting along the road shared by the mall. However, it is not connected to the mall in the least. You need to enter this lot only from the road, even though it is in a shared space, the lot does not allow for you to freely flow into the parking lot of the mall. You have to go back out on the road and make a quick right turn into the entrance to the mall parking lot. They could definitely connect it to the mall and it is a missed opportunity. I might also like to add that that it can be dangerous exiting and attempting to turn into the mall right away. The parking situation isn't much better here either. There is a strip of spacing outside the main doors, but it can be tight if other vehicles are attempting to enter like you are. There is a lot towards the back, but a good portion of it is taken up for the donation area. Inside, they used the space to the best of their ability, but even so, they were lacking with the setup they had. Instead of shelves lining the walls, they used shelving systems that are better used in closets. I mean they do have some shelving against the walls, but it is not used to the best of their abilities. Of course the items all depends on what is donated, which made the selections a bit lacking. Totally not their fault. But the interesting thing about this location was the fact that they had brand new items for purchase. Of course, at a deeply discounted rate. A lot of pet items, some cookware and a mix of other items. After a quick look around the store and finding nothing to my liking, I was back out the door. read more

Very limited selection of everything other than clothing. Furniture section is particularly lacking. Do not waste your time. I was in there for 2 mins, turned around and left. It also smelled a little funky. Weird vibes. Not worth the trip unless you're looking for clothing. Home goods section was almost non-existent. read more

The Goodwills are getting high on there prices,a candle 12 bucks,things you get from dollar tree are placed out on rack double the price.Its getting ridiculous.This store is for the less fortunate but heck they cannot afford these prices.Also things that are donated are still high store prices put on them read more

I've had several less than pleasant experiences here, but today's was another level. We went in yesterday afternoon to buy an air hockey table (that we were told was sitting for weeks) and it didn't have a price tag on it. We were told that they would re price it and to come back in the morning and it would have a price sticker. Cue to TEN MINUTES after opening the next day, and the table is gone. When we asked what happened, not only was there a lot of attitude given, but also the person helping was not listening to what we were asking and said the table had been gone for weeks...even though it was sitting right there yesterday. This also happened with a skim board that we were highly interested in buying where they said they "needed to price it" and then it was never seen again. Also, it's a thrift store. A teenage cousin put her phone down only to gave it snatched away and hidden (after turning it off!) by the manager! After specifically asking for it (to get) and searching the store for 20 min asking everyone, a cashier says oh I gave that to the manager at which point she says "oh, I didn't know it was that phone". If she stole from us, can't imagine what she's stealing from those who are supposed to benefit from this store's profits. read more

This goodwill is a clean store with clean bathrooms. The clothes were well organized and the staff was friendly. They have a large selection of items and their clothes are organized by item and size. I found it to be easy to find what I wanted. read more

Prices are cheap as with all goodwill stores. You can find some really good deals, you just have to look for them. Employees are friendly. The place is clean the bathrooms were clean. Not many people in there so we had a good amount of time and room just to browse for items and the store. read more

I stop at this locations almost every time I visit Harrisonburg, and I almost always buy something. This weekend I bought two shirts (each half price because of the tag color) and a pair of pants. Inventory rotates pretty frequently from what I can tell. Items are clean, store is clean. read more

I would give this place a higher rating if the voluminous amount of kids clothes was better sorted by size, gender or really anything. Instead, they are separated by type (tops, bottoms, etc) within vast ranges e.g. all 2T-18 pants, all 2T-18 tops). For adults, they are further separated by gender and color, e.g. ladies green tops, ladies white tops, etc. Huge amount of clothing overall and some cool stuff (polyester women's leisure suits, poly caftans, etc) and some name brands (Rachael Zoe, Talbots, etc) mixed in with the more typical stuff. Was happy to see that this site also offers an in-store career center, presumably with career or job hunting help on offer. read more

The tall guy/girl with the pale skin and blonde hair is rather rude and inconsiderate. You lost my business. Will not shop when that person is there. No apologies, just plain ignorance for giving away my large purchased item. Pretty bad!!! read more

I was very disappointed. I was told I could return an item for a store credit. When I came back to return it I was told that I had to pick at an item to replace it that day and I did'nt want anything. The employee should have made it clearer but I think it is management very poor customer service. Also, if an item is half way decent it is priced to high. These are donations!!!!!!!!! read more
