Great location. Things are organized and staff is polite and efficient. Have found incredible treasures there and donate frequently.

Second time visiting this location. Once to drop off items and once to shop. Unfriendly employees. I was reprimanded for not having all my clothing donations in bags. This has never been an issue anywhere else, they normally just bring the bins to you. Would not recommend this location. read more

I've been going to Goodwill for years. I drop off itens as well as going inside to look around. The great news is that they now take credit cards. The bad news is that their prices are continually going up, up, up. Guess they need the money so the CEO of Goodwill can continue to make millions. The clothing is always neatly organized. They have quite an assortment of books. The books are one of the most reasonably priced items here. They no longer sell toys. Although, the last time we dropped off items,, someone dropped off a ton of toys. Not sure where those are going. It's the most conveniently located thrift store but definitely not my favorite one. read more

This place is fun to stop in and look for something different, never know what you'll find! I usually don't buy anything as most of the stuff is junk, but it's still fun to look! I have noticed that the people that work here seem to not care if someone is waiting to check out. They will just keep doing what they were doing and make the person wait. But it's pretty clean for what it is, the clothing seems well organized. But yeah, there's a lot of stuff here that belongs in a landfill. read more

They started individually pricing shoes and jackets and some other items and some of the prices are ridiculous. $25+ for garbage from wal mart. Annoying for the customer and is going to load them up with inventory when they price things too high and they don't move. read more

Donated a few boxes... someone just dropped off a small adjustable futon sleeper on the sidewalk in front of the donation door building. We wanted to get it, the manager said she needed to price it before we could load it up. We were guessing it might be around $60 and were excited! It would have been courteous for them to give us a fair price as we were there looking at it as soon as it was dropped off, possibly could have bought off the owners if we bumped into them. The manager rudely priced it $150 saying it was brand new and she sells other "couches" like it easily for $100 and didn't even blink an eye that we waited for it before it was even inside the Goodwill building. I looked around at couch prices and they were between $40-$80... who charges $150 for a futon... this Goodwill does! We would have loved to have it in our guest bedroom , replacing a blow-up mattress but didn't like the greedy attitude or thoughtless pricing. We will not be supporting this Goodwill, too bad because it is the closest one to me. Very disappointed and reminded that this is just another business and is profit centered. I love thrifting but this type of business attitude takes the thrill of thrifting right out. I hope others think twice about going here, there are much better thrift shops that are for community not for themselves! read more

The is one of the worst GW I have ever been to. First when you walk in there are no shopping carts. There were several baskets to carry. If you want to make large sales you need shopping carts. The racks were so full you cannot even look. They brought out a new rack and the lady who worked there told us you could NOT shop off rack. FYI, letting customers shop off the rack will likely make your job a lot easier. Also, those who are apt to make larger purchases generally shop new racks as it is quicker to do. read more

I love thrift shops of all kinds but like it more when I can use my debit card as I usually do not carry cash. Therefore, as much as I love going to the Goodwill, I can't on the spur of the moment because of the cash issue. Sure, they take checks but I don't carry that with me either. So basically unless you plan on a trip to the Goodwill or always have cash, don't bother going. The prices are a little high compared to other Goodwills in IL and VA. Of course, everything in this area is higher priced. read more

This is the worst GFC's in the area. Staff is mostly rude and the store is dirty. The prices here are appalling for donated goods. They have Dollar Tree items marked at more than what they are new! read more

This particular Goodwill location is one of the better I've visited in the area. According to the staff at one of the other stores, this one actually gets new merchandise from Target, so it's possible to find some pretty high-quality stuff. Last time I was there, they actually had a Mike Modano autographed hockey jersey! Like most stores, the men's selection is much slimmer than the women's when it comes to clothes, but they still have more men's wear than any other Goodwill I've seen. They also had a good selection of household goods, along with some sporting goods, etc. I don't make it to Goodwill all that often, but when I do this is my store of choice. If you go, make sure to have enough cash or your checkbook on hand - Goodwill stores don't accept credit. read more

Pretty organized and roomy. Prices are very reasonable - We got a nice love seat for $30. My complaint is with the help, well one gentleman in particular. Very poor management! I recently came here to look for certain rather bigger items such as trash bin, shoe rack, storage containers and etc, as we just moved from another state and all of the above are much needed. I came with my 23lbs 15-month-old toddler in my arm. I asked if there were any shopping carts and the guy at the register (who was very polite) suggested I check in the back and ask the staff there for one. When I went through the back door I saw a bunch of shopping carts with various items in them and explained that I needed one and why. In other words, I'm about to cough up some cash for your store (and have spent hundreds in the Goodwill chain) and it will be impossible for me to do so unless I can have my toddler safe in a shopping cart. The women there seemed to care less and told me to that "per manager" the shopping carts are for them only. Now, HOW HARD would it be to make a cart available?!??? I was shocked as I walked away holding my toddler and trying to pick up and gather some big items together to pile them up to somehow bring them to the register. I did not ask for anything outrageous. I just needed a shopping cart because I was looking to shop for big items while carrying my baby. A very simple request. MY FOOT WILL NEVER STEP HERE AGAIN! I can't stand shopping at any of the Triangle Goodwills.....for these reasons 1. High prices for donated items...get real $100 for a used sofa. I'll get one for $20 off of Facebook Marketplace. 2. Rude and mean staff...where do they hire these folks especially at the Cary store on Langston Pond Dr. I've been in there twice and first time I was screamed at for using their "golden" cart (I just had knee surgery a week before) and the other week I was in there with my mom and a black female employee was screaming for customers to watch their kids. I agree with this but there's a better way to do it than being hateful. 3. What's up with bedding and house hold linens and clothing in bins....are they too lazy to hang these items up like other thrifts. It's overwhelming to look at these items. 4. GET SOME DANG GONE CARTS!!! 2 FOR THE WHOLE STORE IS NOT GONNA CUT IT!!- I hate shopping while having to push my full basket with my feet down the aisles. Stop being so greedy and get the stores in shape and shoppable. I moved here from the Greensboro area and the Triad stores are a lot better than the Triangle stores and they have carts for everyone. read more

Drop off your stuff anytime on the left hand side door near the loading dock. There is usually an attendant there to help you with anything heavy. Comes in really handy when getting rid of excess stuff you realize you will never use again after you unpack it. Would it have been better for me to have made this assessment before paying to have it shipped clear across the country? Sure. But Goodwill makes the arduous process of "weeding out" less so. Plus someone might actually want that IKEA torchiere lamp that has somehow survived the 8 moves since its purchase in 1997. read more

I came here today to find some key pieces for my Halloween outfit. It was almost too clean and too neat! Super friendly employees, color-coded and well-organized. They only take check or cash, so prepare before you come. Prices are so great for some decent choices... I ended up getting a vest that still had the tags on it from the original purchase... lots of good stuff and easy to pick through because of how organized they were. WOW!!! what great finds, excellent price, most items where color coded, would be great to have them in size order so I don't have to really dig in to see if they even carry my size but I guess that's the work you need to put in for finding a deal. Love a good thrift store and Goodwill never disappoints. This one was super organized with lots of items to browse through.

The cashier at this store - older, slender lady was SO NICE. It was as if I was shopping in a high dollar store. Great customer service. The african american gentleman that took my donations was also friendly and polite. There was a good selection of name brand women's clothes and I left with an outfit I liked which was my goal. My little girl also find a "princess dress" I think it was a flower girl dress for less than $3. Everyone seemed to enjoy going there. The only think I would improve on is the dressing rooms. They need hooks and a new paint job. Other than that it was a great experience. read more

I go to lots of thrift shops and goodwills trying to find bargains. This one is the best in the area. They usually have a good selection of clothes that are in great shape. The furniture is typical of goodwills but occasionally they do get some surprisingly nice stuff. Check this goodwill out if you haven't already. And like the other poster said-bring cash. If you're a reseller, you need to know that this Goodwill store uses Sharpie markers to write item prices directly on their household goods and toys. The ink can be removed with window cleaner on some objects, but permanent on fabric items like plushes. read more

I was so disappointed when I was in there on August 12 2015. Not only was I yelled at, by the cashier, (IN FRONT OF A LINE OF CUSTOMERS) for not taking my bag of items through the Donation door, but another employee was yelling so loud at a little 4 year old girl for getting makeup on a chair. Everyone shopping stopped in their tracks and was looking to see what was going on! This was one of the most unprofessional Goodwill stores I have EVER been in and I will not be going back! Some of these workers need to be removed from Customer Service Positions and put in the back sorting or fired! NOT EVERYONE IS CUT OUT TO WORK AS A CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE! read more

I will NEVER shop here again, actually i didnt even get the chance to shop here today. I walked in placed my daughter in a basket and a lady walked passed in a hurry and said "you can't use that cart" and just kept going but was very rude about it...so i said GOOD. i grabbed my baby out the basket and as i was leaving said I'LL TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. I believe she was the manager...what kind of people do these stores hire as managers these days? if the basket isnt allowed to be used by customers why is it sitting up in the front of the store by the door? i'm so over these places and there stupid rules...if i knew a hire up number to call id do it. cause that was uncalled for. read more
