This location had an okay selection of items. The housewares section was a tad minimal but there was tons of clothes and shoes. My goal was to find a u inquest piece to add to my home but I was unsuccessful on this visit. Oh well, better luck the next time. read more

This Goodwill on Woodruff is one of the area's larger locations and is consistently well stocked and organized. They have done a good job of laying out the store so that items are sorted by department to help you find what you are looking for. There is always a LOT of stuff here... like with any thrift store sometimes things jump out at you and other times you really have to dig. The best way to not get overwhelmed is to either go frequently so you can overlook what you've seen and only focus on the newer items, or else go with an idea of what you are looking for and really comb through that particular section. The staff are constantly putting out new items throughout the day so you may get lucky and see them rolling out a cart with fresh goods. Word of warning, you aren't supposed to grab/claim/take items until they have been put out on the shelves (the staff can get sassy if you go digging in their pile). Each time you visit be sure to pay attention to the color of the day displayed on a sign when you enter the store. All items (whether stickered or tagged on clothing) are marked by a color and one of these colors will signify sale items. For homegoods that could mean half off, and for clothing some days things are $1 and others fifty cent. All of the clothes throughout the store are very well sorted. For example in the women's department they have racks with short sleeves, long sleeves, shorts, pants, skirts, dresses, pajamas, maternity, etc. Same with men's, it's all organized by t-shirts, dress shirts, pants, shorts, jackets, etc. If you're looking at furniture keep in mind that they mark these items by taping on a two piece tag (white perforated paper tag with $ and description on top and bottom piece). If you are interested in a larger item you don't necessarily have to pick it up yourself, just grab the lower part of the tag to claim the item and take it up front to pay. If you are looking at an item that only has the upper part of tag it means that someone else has already claimed it. Sometimes people claim the tag then don't actually buy the item, so you can ask cashier and they'll make an announcement in regards to that particular item being claimed or not. Also, they allow you to leave the item to pick up later on if you find something but don't have the means to transport it right then. read more

This place smells and all their items are way too worn!! I couldn't believe the amount of people in there when it was sooo dirty! Everything was not organized and you basically seemed like you were dumpster diving! read more

Not a bad place to donate unwanted items, but the owner of the company hires people at minimum wage . The store is crowded, but divided into sections for glassware, clothing, furniture, shoes, books, etc. The drop-off is convenient with always someone will and able to help unload. Be sure to take a receipt if you itemize your taxes. read more

I can't believe how this goodwill has deteriorated over the last six months. This used to be the best Goodwill anywhere. Now you go in there and there's nothing on the shelves. I know they take in a lot of donations because I drive other every day sometimes twice. I sure hope if they get some new management in the store to fix the problem. It Has to be an isolated problem because I've been to all the other Goodwill's in the area and their shelves are full. They must crush everything instead of putting on the shelf. Maybe they should put more emphasis on stocking and less on making closing announcements and trying to get people to round up.I'm sure I'm not the only one that's looking for a deal and wish that they would get that store in order. We have money, we want to buy stuff, please stock the shelves. We also stopped donating here because the items don't make it to the floor. read more

Large store, clean, but clothing poorly organized . Dressing rooms and racks outside them stuffed with rejected clothes that were not re-racked by staff. Clothing not distinguished. Disappointed. read more

I am sorry people don't realize Goodwill is a franchise style business. They are very greedy and all about the dollar. What a business model,"Hey let's start a business where we convince people to give us free inventory, then we will sell it. We will hire socially challenged people, provide them with few benefits and pay them even less. File as not profit because we will inflate our officers income so much there will be hardly any taxable solutions. Yeah, and lets call it something with the word (Bureau in it, that makes every body think it's official), oh wait, the Better Business Bureau already did that. Dang. Let's call it Goodwill, yeah that'll fool them, no one will ever question our integrity with a name like that. Give to some one that really helps, like the Salvation Army, Meyer Center, A Child's Haven or an Orphanage in any of the Upstate Counties. read more

Place was clean but we thought the prices were a little high for a thrift store. Jigsaw puzzles were about half price from what you pay at Walmart with no guarantee that all the pieces were there or that the pieces were in good shape. Worn out plastic toy trucks were $2.99 and $3.99. Just seems high to me. read more

I have shopped this goodwill for years, but it seems every time I go in recently all the rules have changed. I was told no more 25% off on Tuesday for seniors it will now be 10% everyday for everything and everyone , but go to check out and no discount for anything but yellow tags. There we go no one has a sign up telling you anything. Then the stuff that's been there forever is still there They are hardly putting out anything even though I know people have been cleaning out while staying at home and the prices for stuff that has been given free to Goodwill is priced higher than you can go to the store and buy new and most are either missing pieces or broken. No one in the place is social distancing and since they aren't busy putting stuff out someone should be monitoring these pushy folks. The employees are very rude. The shoes should be thrown away they are filthy and torn up. Please price your items to get them out of there, they are given to you you don't buy them, it would be better to price them to sell than leave them sitting there forever!!! read more

Lots of clothes. I picked up some nice baby clothes for 2.50 each, plus some knickknacks.

I can't believe this location hasn't been reviewed yet! Large, clean store. Excellent selection. Furniture is a little overpriced, but all other prices are reasonable. Fairly busy, even in the middle of the day, but the store is large so it doesn't feel crowded. Excellent location that I will be returning to. read more

This Goodwill has a good, revolving stock. The clothing in particular is well-sorted, and staff members seem to be around keeping it sorted and restocked pretty constantly. The clothing items must be checked closely for quality before they go out on the floor; I'm not sure I've ever seen anything in questionable condition, and I've definitely never gotten home and realized that something had some sort of flaw. General housewares (dishes/kitchen stuff, frames, pillows-- that sort of thing) also seems to be in pretty good shape. The furniture and knick-knacks are more hit-and-miss (I've only looked at them in passing), and I've never really looked at the children's things, so no comment there. Maybe it's just when I happen to be there, but it's usually crowded, and long waits in line can be a problem. Again, because of the crowds, combined with somewhat narrow aisles, negotiating the space is sometimes a challenge. If you're patient and persistent, though, you'll probably come away with something you're pleased with. read more
