Besides the furniture, everything is in big bins that you rummage through, then pay by the pound (except the electronics -- they're in the bins, but have a separate price list). Things are a little dirty, but I got a few nice things that were easy to clean off. With COVID-19, they require masks to come in. Everyone was wearing one, though I did see a few customers' noses uncovered. And they also only let 25 people in at once, to allow for distance. I was told that there's a line, and you should show up before they open. So I arrived 15 minutes before opening, and got in line. But when they gave out entry tickets (in order of arrival), I was too far back in the line to get one. I had to wait around about an hour past opening time to get in. (The other people in line told me the wait time varies a lot by day. There are a lot of professional resellers who shop here every day for bargains to resell at the flea market or online.) Tip: They put out new stuff in the morning and afternoon. If you want to be first to get a chance to look through the bins, show up an hour early, and wait in line, so you can get one of the first tickets.

Great values, low prices, friendly staff, and overall clean and well organized. The location at 5500 San Mateo is easy to find and centrally located right across from Cliff's Amusement Park. There is a great inventory and selection of a wide variety of items from housewares to artwork, tools, seasonal items, and furniture. Items are reasonably priced and prices are clearly marked. The staff is friendly and helpful and can assist you to find whatever you might be looking for. They have a special Saturday sale every weekend where they offer special discounts and they occasionally have surplus furniture items at discount. This thrift store is linked with the coffee shop (The Well Coffee NM) in the same strip mall and they have a 10% discount available for people who patronize both shops. Best of all, the proceeds from sales at both shops support a transformational ministry that works with young adults through love and caring. And if you need to unload extra stuff, this store is a great place to support. Donations are tax-deductible. They have truck pickup service for large donations and they also have a yard service crew you can hire for help around the house. The owner, who I now know is named Kim, did not smile at me when I walked in the door, nor did she acknowledge my presence in any way even though I know she saw me because I had to go up to the counter a few times to ask her for help with finding clothing in my size. Indeed, she didn't seek me out to ask me if I needed help once! She spent the entire time sniggering with someone who I assume was an employee. As a fellow small business owner myself, I always try to make my customers feel welcome as I know that engaging with potential repeat customers is essential to keeping a local business in business. It wouldn't surprise me if her lack of customer service is why this place is shutting down because I left knowing that I would never come back even if I had liked the clothes. Now for a review of the clothes: they were trashy. I think the store was meant to be a curated boutique of eclectic clothing but all she was curating was memories of a Ross sale section circa the mid-2000s which is to say they looked cheap. (But at least those clothes were affordable!) The clothes were made from synthetic materials that I would not want touching my skin, nothing was cut on the bias, there was way too much hot pink and zebra print? Seriously? The walls are adorned with the funnest things. The place simply pours out Fashion everywhere! The clothes are just fantastic! I plan to come back and get me some pieces for my next music festival!
