I noticed some comments about not helping load large items. As a mall owner myself, I understand that many employees are not able to lift heavy items and buyers should understand this. It is also a liability for small businesses to help load large furniture items. If the item gets damaged or a vehicle gets damaged during loading, the customer often tries to place blame on mall as opposed to accepting responsibly. We highly recommend this mall. We drive over 4 hours several times a year to visit here.

When I got there and he was putting the vase in the bag, he said "they tried to run after you, but they couldn't catch you." That was it. Still no apology, so: Me: No apology? Him: 14 miles is not far. (This is how I knew he was the same person I talked to last night). Me: It's a 28 miles round-trip plus the time, gas, and the inconvenience. Him: Do you want the vase or not? What a terrible way to treat a 30 year customer, or anyone for that matter. A simple apology for the error would have been the correct way to handle the situation. The shop is located in the artsy part of the redeveloping original downtown and is a part of and reflects perfectly the downtown's eclectic character. The vibe is slightly cluttered chic with distinct sections and it's easy to peruse based on what you might be looking for or discover things you weren't. I personally like that they are not too worried about "staging" like some places and just get the stuff out there. I am never disappointed at the amazing and eclectic collection of furniture, furnishings, decorations, art, books--almost anything you can think of and many things you wouldn't but glad you saw and bought. The building itself is really interesting. I wish I knew why it was called Market 102, but honestly, I can't be arsed to find out. This place is filled with artisan-made things, vintage goods and boutique items. This is an excellent place to find a gift for someone who has everything, because there are so many random things everywhere.
