Not my favorite Goodwill. Visiting from Chicago and I was excited to check out the Towson Goodwill after work, but the shelves are a bit bare, aside from clothes, shoes, records/cd and glassware. Stuffy smell. And the stairs throughout make it hard to comfortably navigate, although their are signs indicating ramp access if you walk to the back of the store. Only item I find to buy was a basic blue t-shirt, but it was priced at $10 which is way too much for me to spend on a worn tee. So I left empty handed.

Goodwill of Timonium, Maryland - great finds!

Visited this Goodwill location on Sunday. We were out shopping and the other half knows that I like thrift stores so we made a stop here. The store is clean and well organized. They have A LOT of stuff on the shelves. That being said, I didn't buy a single thing which is unusual for me. Everything that I picked up had damage on it in some way. My rule is if it is chipped or cracked or damaged put it back on the shelf. I would stop back here. The employees were friendly. Lots of parking. I saw a great Victorian porcelain chocolate pot for only $12 - a friend collects this stuff and it sells for a lot more than $12 in an antique store. He didn't want it though so I left it there. I will be back!

Very clean currently. Store opened 06/19/14. Everything is very organized. Lots of patrons inside store per just being opened. Book section is a little small at the moment. Employees are very friendly.

    Beautiful art I purchased here.

They took a 10 foot moving trucks worth of donations. It was a huge relief with our move.

It's ok. Typical messy goodwill with nothing but junk and the occasional cool find. Does have a decent selection of clothing.

The staff here are pretty chill, and are especially kind towards regulars. The crew in the furniture section are always quick to help me find what I'm looking for or keep an eye out for me. Compared to all of the goodwills, and even the nearby ReStore, this is gonna be your best bet price-wise. This is the first thrift store that I've been to that rotates its inventory based on the season. All of the furniture that I've purchased here has been for less than $20, and I'm talking about good hardwood furniture and even a 7ft silk sofa wrapped in the OG plastic protectant. For my fellow DIYers, you'll come across sewing machines often here, some built into tables with full kits for about $15 - $25. There is also a rack for scrap fabric, and abandoned knitting projects in the back. This location is in the prime spot, as it receives donations from all demographics. So whatever your style is, you're bound to find something you'll like here.

Why is there the the handlers for Christmas lights on sale for 3 dollars each? Bonkers. Also, the inconsistencies of pricing is frustrating. This location is much more open since it's like a warehouse with shared space for other nonprofits. The books are somewhat organized, but since they have lots of book donations, there are always bins and bins full of books that are constantly being sorted. My suggestion is to come when you have the time to sort through the book options and pick through what's useful. Some books are brand new, others with a little wear, and some are much older. It's a pretty mixed bag of books They're open about 4 days a week for specific timeframes. It's absolutely free to get a certain number of books, and kids can take as many as they can carry. You can also buy a membership, which is tax deductible, if you would like to take more than the allotted amount. They also have special events here and there for members. Overall, this is a great place to get books for classrooms, daycares, camps, etc.

Take the road that puts you as close as you can get to the interstate. It is a dim space among a huge warehouse that houses several other non-profits, so you might want to consider bringing donations when you come. The books are all free! There are only kids books, donated from the community, in pretty good used condition. Bring a bag or box. Each person is allowed 25 books, unless they purchase a yearly membership for $45. The hours are Wed 3-5 pm, and Sat 9-11 am. Amazing!!!

I had asked them for 12 sheets of luan and they needed to be in good shape because I was using them on an exposed ceiling. The manager came over and I told him I needed them undamaged and he look at me with a very disrespectful stare and said that I was funny.... He was very ignorant and wasn't happy the staff were helping me. I checked over the luan that they pulled for me and a few were damaged and I didn't want to waste time having them put them back and get other ones so I told him I didn't want them and he can put them back. I just went to Home Depot and got the same thing in pristine condition for $0.50 more per sheet. They are overpriced there and management is horrible so goto another location or the Loading Dock in Baltimore. I buy stuff there and management is helpful and not ignorant.... He should be fired and never work in customer service or management of any type.... I hope he reads this. I am sure all of the staff know who I am talking about and they share my comment. He was probably in his 50s and had some crazy red or reddish blonde hair.... He had this crazy look on his face like he was always mad.... Steer clear...
