This isn't a small store, but the selection isn't massive. Found a jesus statue, holding a headless child, so that shows you the quality of the merchandise here... or that the employees aren't paying any attention to what they are putting on the shelves. I suppose they do a decent enough business with the college kids. There was also a fantastic pink pimp furry coat for anyone who wanted to dress up as cotton candy for Halloween- I WAS there looking for Halloween outfits, but the coat was much too large for me. I made Jeremy try it on and the people nearby all seemed greatly amused, as was I. He also tried on this burgundy bathrobe that could have been some decent pimpwear. Like most thrift stores, this place is hit or miss. The dressing rooms are still closed, which seems like a pandemic precaution holdover at most thrift stores. I've come in here before and left empty handed and other times left with a full haul of treasures. On a recent visit, I was interested in the glassware and ceramics section and managed to find a ton of amazing steals. Most items ranged from $1-$2 which I appreciated since other donation type thrift stores seem to be charging a lot more nowadays. I also found a gorgeous genuine leather purse for only $12 and of course, had to take it home with me. I would recommend checking out this Goodwill for accessories and home goods. Although, the clothing is a bit harder to sift through and I haven't had much luck myself. read more

Ugh. I want to enjoy anything about this goodwill but it's just. Not enjoyable? The staff is mostly pleasant most of the time? That's a positive! Never a good selection. Lots of broken things, over prices compared to thrift store in the area. Just not a must hit on the thrift store crawl. read more

Not my favorite Goodwill. Visiting from Chicago and I was excited to check out the Towson Goodwill after work, but the shelves are a bit bare, aside from clothes, shoes, records/cd and glassware. Stuffy smell. And the stairs throughout make it hard to comfortably navigate, although their are signs indicating ramp access if you walk to the back of the store. Only item I find to buy was a basic blue t-shirt, but it was priced at $10 which is way too much for me to spend on a worn tee. So I left empty handed. read more

Visited this Goodwill location on Sunday. We were out shopping and the other half knows that I like thrift stores so we made a stop here. The store is clean and well organized. They have A LOT of stuff on the shelves. That being said, I didn't buy a single thing which is unusual for me. Everything that I picked up had damage on it in some way. My rule is if it is chipped or cracked or damaged put it back on the shelf. I would stop back here. The employees were friendly. Lots of parking. I saw a great Victorian porcelain chocolate pot for only $12 - a friend collects this stuff and it sells for a lot more than $12 in an antique store. He didn't want it though so I left it there. Messiest Goodwill I have ever seen. Impossible to sort through books, which were carelessly and randomly stored in 5 ft-deep huge bins -- you'd have to literally dive into the bins to find anything. I walked directly up to the sales counter with my purchase, since no one was in line. Cashier chastised me for not standing in the waiting lane, even though no one was there! Instead of ringing me up, she disappeared, telling me she would be right back. I waited for a while before leaving my 2 books on the counter and leaving the store in disgust. This Goodwill needs to organize (and choose its staff) a little better. read more

I bought a few items at this location in Maryland and I was overall pleased with the service. Unfortunately, I dropped a 20 dollar bill and when I turned around, the money was gone. I wasn't expecting to lose cash at the store but I'm sure that it's nobody's fault in particular. I really like the workers and clothing options! It's affordable and good quality, at least for the most part. I'd definitely recommend going. read more

I've been to this Goodwill a couple times. It's close to where I live so it's convenient. THE GOOD... -easy to find parking -store is new and clean -staff is friendly -little bit of everything -found some ok 12" singles there -found a cookie jar I really like -prices seemed fair THE BAD... -record selection has gotten worse over the past few visits -minimal VHS Overall this Goodwill is ok. It's not really a thrift store I'd visit regularly, but perhaps once in a while in hopes of finding something good. read more

THERE IS NO PUBLIC RESTROOM!! Every thrift store I have been to that didn't have public restrooms HAD A NOTICEABLE SIGN! First time I've ever been to a GW without a restroom. Prices are way too high. This is the worst Goodwill ever for purchases or donations! My gently used household items were thrown in to filthy bin. Guy was very angry about something... he ruined my scratch free items....all the employees were rude. The entire store was so dirty- their items are not cleaned at all and they are overpriced for the trash they displayed. Donate and buy at a different location. I did make a few DIY decor purchases which were very heavy. I waited 15 minutes to get help from anyone and I placed my heavy decor pieces on the counter. Finally when a cashier showed up she acted irritated, rude and inconvenienced! She made me move all the heavy items to the other side of her register... she said the scanner didn't reach the side I placed them... then she proceeded to move each item to the exact place I had them before and then she scanned them right where I had them before she made me move them... so it was obvious that the scanner more than reached and she was just being difficult. Nasty items, nasty wait, nasty clerk and employees! I donate all the item to stay decluttered- not here anymore because I want my good donations to make a difference. I'll never look for DIY here ever again! I'd rather donate to an organization that finds dirtiness or nastiness or lying rude employees. Training is important. Whoever manages this store needs to be fired! read more

She was so gracious and gave me wonderful insight on a art piece I was interested in purchasing, I bought it right away because she made me see it for the beauty it was! Lots of Lysol action going on. On the one hand, you know it's kept clean. On the other, I have asthma and am also sensitive to smells, so... Items are reasonably organized, though the jeans section is harder to navigate; I found different sizes lumped together in the same section. I was just in this location yesterday, 4/17/16, around 5pm, and the two women working had the nastiest attitudes. Both of them appeared to be quite angry and were extremely rude. Ladies, it's not my fault if you hate your job. You should probably find a new one if working here makes you that mad. I've been here several times before and the man who works there as a cashier was very nice. But these two women were rude to the point where I will reconsider going in if I see them working in the future. read more

Been to a lot of goodwills. This one was one of the worst. Things are way over priced because of the area, but a lot of the people here are college students who aren't going to pay $12 for a stretched out sweater. A lot of things do not have the prices on them and many items have the price written in very obvious places on the product is sharpie. Stickers or tags would be ore appropriate for any of the items. I wish i could give zero stars. Not only were the employees incredibly rude, I didn't realize that they like to get you with random price tags on clothing. The sign may say $3.99 for a shirt, but you get to the counter and it's a different story. I handed the cashier a cotton Nike long sleeve and a well used light Banana Republic sweater. Apparently, the Nike long sleeve was $15 effing dollars, and the sweater was $10. How is a t shirt more than a sweater? My husband handed the cashier the card and as I was arguing with her about the price she continued to move on with the transaction. $15 for a used long sleeve t shirt?? Are you effing kidding me? When I asked if I could do a return she said her manager would just give me a look and she gave me serious attitude. If the point of Goodwill is to offer clothing at reasonable prices, this place is scamming people left and right. Goodwill, you suck. You robbed me of the joy of thrift shopping today. read more

The staff at this goodwill is never very friendly and they've never given me the 50% discount for clothes marked with the color of the week. I would hands down recommend the goodwill on Joppa road instead. Their staff is amazing. read more

The men's clothing section is terrible. All the clothes are very cheap and not fashionable or stylish at all. The vinyl section is not great either. The only thing good at this store is the books, they have quite a selection. I would definitely recommend for women because they have two wholes rooms of clothes but not for men because the election is very poor. read more

I've been here to donate a couple of times before. Normally, I drive around the back and drop stuff off at the back door. The staff has always been a little busy, but have been helpful in unloading and getting my donation receipt. Today, they were hiding behind a semi parked on the side of the building. I almost drove past them before they came out from behind the semi they must have been sitting in. As it was, I parked a little farther away than I would have liked to because of their unexpected location. I stopped and said something to the effect of "sorry, didn't see you there." The guy's response I remember because it was so terse and, well, just rude. He said, "don't be sorry, be better." Like I was supposed to somehow know they had moved their donation spot and were hiding in the back of the semi? His attitude, his unwillingness to help me unload my car (he and the two guys that were with him just stood against the wall and watched), and his unwillingness to get me my donation receipt just completely turned me off of this location. I'll be heading to Salvation Army from now on. read more

Small selection, but you can find gems that the staff doesn't recognize as high price ticket items. They have half off clothes on the last Saturday of each month and I always find one piece of "gold". They only mark up Ralph Lauren and other obv stuff. read more

Unbelievably rude staff - my 7 year old daughter came to me saying she had to use the bathroom very bad, I asked a employee where the restroom was at which point she said they didn't have one. I explained my daughter needed to use it but she again refused. She passed me off to another employee who also refused to allow my daughter to use the restroom and said it was their policy. When I requested the manager they seemed to think it was funny as they were laughing among each other and pointed to a man saying he was the manager. If this man was the manager he didn't act like it or want to acknowledge it but when I approached him he also refused to let my daughter use the restroom. So here is my issue with this.....your name is GOODWILL right?????? They why are your staff so rude and why would you not extend that goodwill to a 7 year old child who needed to use the restroom? Obviously you don't care about customers so you will never have my business again! read more
