This place is best described as a yard sale in a building. Lots of good deals for things you may…read morenot need but the few things you are looking for. It is great if you happen to find what you set out to buy! I dropped in when it was a rainy day to get out of the house. They have holiday decorations, tools, hardware trim sinks and door knobs and kitchen appliances. Many of the items were priced to go, some things had no price at all?( free ) I doubt it. This is a great way to help recycle your unwanted stuff and help a good cause at the same time. Some of the furniture and pianos are real antiques. Make sure to visit often as things come and go all the time.

ReStore is a donation-driven resale store benefiting Habitat for Humanity in Hardin County…read more Located in what you may remember as the old location of Roy's Furniture, they've kinda got a lot of space, overall, for everything done at this location. A quick stop just off of the Dixie. Their setup is a little different, in that they have (generally reasonable, for resale) priced items *and* a small (labeled) section of items that they've identified as particularly cool / interesting / potentially valuable that are considered "silent auction" items that customers bid on. It's not to say that the eventual sale prices on these items are not reasonable, but it does add to the "fun." This area is kinda sectioned off in the main room and items are tagged by number, rather than price, which corresponds to the adjacent binder. And the "cool" stuff, is, well, kinda cool. For example, my latest visit showed what looked like a very cool, pretty fabulous condition retro Schwinn. Other antique items, a little glassware, some mid-century modern furniture, a small amount of homegoods-type stuff, a limited and pretty random assortment of appliances, paint, and some other home improvement / maintenance items (particularly light fixtures and a few fans) were available in the "priced for sale" (not auction) area. Like any donation-driven shop, what you find on any given visit varies. They have average to better than average turnover for similar stores in this area. They accept delivered donations when open and also do free scheduled donation pickups. They do not accept clothing (but apparently do take shoes??) - their criteria are a little different from other similar donation-based shops, so I'd recommend reviewing their website or giving them a call if you're unsure whether they'll take whatever you're wanting to be free of.
