I really like shopping at Goodwills and treasure hunting. Thrift stores are amazing! Most of the Goodwills in town price things pretty reasonable. Unfortunately in the past couple months this specific Goodwill prices things like they are an antique mall. Even broken items or items missing pieces such as a tripod without the mounting part. The employees are nice and this Goodwill is usually pretty organized and clean but it's hard to keep going to this one based on how insane the prices for items are getting. read more

I walked into this goodwill to purchase scrub pants. Most goodwills have a section of scrubs but I could not locate it. I attempted to get the attention of 3 employees to no avail, they were all on the phone or had headphones in or whatever, they would not acknowledge me. I finally decided to ask the cashier. while walking past the cashier whom I was hoping to be my final attempt at asking for help but he was flirting with a customer so I decided it was a lost cause and left. read more

This continues to be a frequently visited Goodwill for our family. My kids love the hunt of it and this location is in our Top 3. Larger location, private parking lot. Because of where it sits on the road, if you accidentally pass it by it'll be a bear to get back to it! read more

Me and my friend spent 2 hours and 10 minutes in this Goodwill but it only felt like 2 minutes and 10 seconds! They had great finds, as well as being nicely organized! There were staff members at every corner reorganizing and helping customers. The prices were the best I'd seen at Goodwill in a while! Find? Immaculate. Vibes? Tea. read more

Sometimes you just want to kick around a Goodwill! I love scouring Goodwill stores for books. I am an avid reader and it can be a quite expensive pass time! The Mister and I stopped by this Goodwill today and I was very pleasantly surprised. We were greeted immediately upon entering by two cashiers (masked) and again shortly thereafter by another employee. I can't say enough about the cleanliness and organization of this particular Goodwill. I looked in the dressing rooms. They were spotless with no large dust bunnies living under the bench and there were no odors! I checked the bathroom which was also very clean and well stocked. (My only suggestion would be a paper towel dispense that does not require turning a knob to release a towel). I noticed that the clothing was organized by size rather than color. I have seen some Goodwill stores arrange all of one type of clothing item (shirts, for instance) by colors, and one must go through the entire row of blue shirts, garment by garment, looking at the size of each one. Ain't nobody got time for that! In this store the racks were well-marked by sizes. The offerings were similar to other Goodwill stores. There was clothing of all types and sizes, a large selection of housewares, bicycles, books (I found one from my list for 99 cents! (Yeah, you will be old one day and something like this will be the most exciting part of your day too!), electronics and more. The store is located right off of Shelbyville Road and has plenty of dedicated parking. The parking lot must be exited in one direction, which dumps you out at a traffic light. Very convenient! If you are looking for a Goodwill store that is well-organized, clean, and doesn't have an odor, this is the one! read more

Visiting this Goodwill location on a Sunday, it was SLAMMED. Most of the store was organized well, but we found a lot of clothing that was misplaced and housewares that were dirty. Even being so busy, only two employees were working front-of-house. One at checkout (she had a huge line) and one reorganizing the store. I was also disappointed to see only two fitting rooms! We waited 45 minutes to try on a few items, behind someone with a loaded cart trying on every item. I even observed a customer trying on clothes in the middle of the store while looking into a mirror that was for sale. Overall I think weekdays are a better time to shop here, but the sales on the weekends are nice. read more

Goodwill is one of those places I think about wanting to visit, make never actually make the time to go. I was bored on my lunch hour, and luckily this location is right by my work. I have dropped off a few bags of stuff here and there to donate. It's nice because they will take just about anything, if you're looking to get some junk off of your hands. This location is pretty nice. Everything seems to be well organized and all of the sections are marked very clearly. A couple of the fixtures I noticed were a little dirty, with crumbs, etc. and the decor/toy section had a really gross smell to it; I'm assuming it was coming off of one of the items. Their prices are pretty nice; All women's shirts were $3.99, accessories $.99, and DVD's were $3.99. I even found a few nice name brand items that I was surprised to see at such a cheap price! Good little store right off the gene Snyder in Middletown. This is not one of my favorite Goodwill's that for sure . It is a little on the small side and I have not found many of the items I would like. However it is clean and cheap so I'll come back again. read more

I'm a seasoned bargain hunter and enjoy finding new places to hunt for unique items at great prices. This is a great place to look for just about anything - furniture, clothing, books, shoes, media items, accessories and knicknacks. The location is huge, well-organized, and spacious. Unlike some locations, there is plenty of room for you and anyone else shopping to peruse the same aisle without starting a cart war to get through. The location is easy to find and is clearly visible from Gene Snyder and Shelbyville Rd. Once you arrive, there is ample parking and a roomy drop-off portico if you decide this is where you want to donate your wares to. All-in-all, it's pretty solid if you're looking for a great deal on just about anything! read more

Spacious Goodwill... Aisles were a bit overcrowded so it was hard to get around on a weekend day without being in someone's way. That being said, we found hubby a great selection of dress shirts, ties, and a nice new jacket. I wasn't terribly impressed with their women's selections, but, I wasn't really looking hard... Ohh and they could have used more help that day... they poor cashier was completely overwhelmed with a line around the store, but still kept calm and friendly! read more

Leaving a one star review for the customer service at this location. Specifically the female employee who is always at the front counter with long "blonde" hair. She is always very rude to the customers & very unprofessional crunching ice from her drink while checking people out. She will stop what she's doing during the checkout process to step away for her drink. She acts like the customers are a burden to her when anyone needs help. She has always made us feel un welcome when walking into the store. read more

I'm not sure why this goodwill has such a low score. The store itself is pretty small but it's well maintained and has good finds. I'd say its pretty densely packed with good finds. Where other stores might have more space but fewer quality items. read more

One of my favorite locations. Yes, I'm a thrift store junkie! Staff is pleasant and store stays clean and organized. I often find some of the best petite name brand styles in town for a 1/4 of the price...Ann Taylor Loft, Banana Republic, Michael Kors...to name a few labels. You just have to check in frequently to get the best of deals. Love the color system for discounts. read more

This goodwill has a lot of great items! The store was very clean and organized, as were the restrooms. I found an awesome velvet chair here that I upcycled. I also found a bunch of cool new throw pillows. This location has quite a bit of furniture as well. Would definitely recommend this Goodwill location. read more

EVERYTHING IS WAAAAAY OVERPRICED!!! It's a joke, don't waste your time!! For example, a normal size chair with wooden legs and fake leather you couldn't sell for $5 dollars at a yard sale, asking $55!! WTF!! Everything is high compared to other Goodwills. Bunch of crooks! I visited this Goodwill a couple of weeks ago. It seemed fairly clean and as organized as a Goodwill can be. My only issue was the prices. They had a pair of Nike women's tennis shoes (granted these shoes did look new) for $40! I am go to the outlet and it a pair New for that price! I mean come on now Goodwill.... Then they had this antique typewriter up at the cash wrap that they had a $600 price tag on it. I mean what in the world! This store needs to remember they get their items donate for free and they apparently are being hire greedy with the profits because it wasn't like they had extra staff working for all the money they are trying to make. I would like to share the insane price increases at this Goodwill since 2019. Since January, I have noticed a drastic increase of prices that seem highly unreasonable for free stuff given to Goodwill. Today, I walked in to the Goodwill located at 100 Huntington Ridge Dr, Louisville, KY 40223 and the majority of their items were over $15. They had a used vacuum, super old, probably not even working for $15, a crappy workout set in a box for $24 and this thing does not even retail for that much! I was so shocked at the prices for used junk that I just walked out and left. How could this company charge more than retail? It just keeps getting worse and will eventually cause this location to shut down. Goodwill and management at this location, please remember why you are doing this, to help others! This is not helping those who shop at this location who are also in need and are not able to pay $15 per item! I have shared these price increases with the corporate office. I also over heard a man complaining about the prices today and he also walked out. He asked to reach out to corporate as well. Customers, if you see these price increases please report them to corporate so that they can be aware of what management is doing. read more
