I like this location. Parking: Lot Service: The workers are very nice and helpful. Store: pretty organized. Some times the items are very dated. It's a hit or miss when finding things. I wish the display sign for the discounts were bigger. There are signs when you first walk in and again near the register but that's it. The signs at the ends of racks give you the price; unless another price is shown. You will need a Good Will V.I.P card in order to get the color discount. You can sign up with the cashier. The furniture is so so. Overall I'm ok with this location and will still keep coming.

I just picked up an item I purchased through Shopgoodwill.com and it is way more damaged than described. Extremely disappointed because this was not a cheap dress. There was staining that was not disclosed and a 2-3 inch hole where the stitching has come apart at the hem. This photo was taken on a mannequin so there is no excuse for not disclosing this damage. The hem was also said in the listing to be able to "let down" and upon further investigation, the hem was severly cut and cannot be altered. So basically, they are describing items in a way to make the sale but what you see is not what you get. They do not allow you to look at the item in the store before accepting it so you have to take it regardless. Not a happy customer. I definitely got ripped off in this case. EDIT: I filed a complaint with Paypal (where I paid) and ShopGoodwill reached out and allowed me to return the item. They really shouldn't be selling items online if they cant describe the item accurately.

I stopped by a few days ago to check out their new store. It's significantly bigger than Nana's Attic, which means it feels far less cramped. Yay! Still very good prices, the "yellow tag" items are consignment and generally higher priced than the store's donated stock. It about killed my soul to see an awesome vintage salt & pepper mixed in with newer dishes in a consignment lot. Aaah! Staff are great, the store is clean and bright. I'll definitely be back. Note: angled parking in front of the building is NOT free, Pontiac is a public street, and those are pay at kiosk metered spots.

I have been a customer at this store since it was called Nana's Attic. Today I was there, looking for furniture. The selection was a bit overpriced for the quality. Suddenly, I needed to use the restroom. The woman working informed me that they did not have a public restroom and that I could go to the Dollar Tree next door. The Dollar Tree did not have a usable restroom. I returned to thrift and thrive because, quite frankly, I was literally about to pee myself. I begged to use the employee bathroom. The employees lied to my face and said that there was no bathroom in the entire store. Yeah right, if that's true, then that's a worker's rights violation, and they would not be in business. I explained that I was having an emergency and they did not care. It really stinks to be a loyal patron of a store, then to be treated so poorly in return. Particularly during a vulnerable moment. There are plenty of better thrift stores in the area with better prices AND customer bathrooms. It's a shame that a store that has such a great mission doesn't provide a great shopping experience.

They apparently google everything and if EBay has it listed at a crazy price they think they can get it. I think you missed the part about it being a thrift store, and the items are all donated. Guess you are paying those bonuses for the managers and CEO. There used to be better discounts not just for one day but that was changed. I can understand if you have challenged employees training to move to a better job, but this doesn't seem to be the case here. While there are a few employees who are always polite the majority are rude. I have worked retail most of my life and customer service can make or break a store, well yours is at the breaking point. I also know most stores have a policy to not provide bags, but when someone buys a lot of breakables you would think they would have a little bit of wrapping paper. So, as I wrap all of my items, I get rude looks because I am tying up the counter. You just made a sale be respectful. Also, along with the high prices you place stickers on products that will be damaged when you try to remove them. Maybe some training of tag placement is in order. Sadly, this and many Goodwills are pricing themselves out of business and when the economy is bad you could count on filling the void with used items. I am hopeful some change will come and I can continue to spend my money there. ***After I received a response to my review that the sales help your programs I think you missed the point of my review. I am sure these employees probably make minimum wage at best, and all the items are donated so how are you helping the community who looks to you for affordable items to meet their needs? By price gouging? Also this seems to be the case in many Goodwill stores and needs to be addressed overall with your mission.
