Huge thrift store! Worth the hype. Proceeds support a fabulous cause. Plenty of inventory and the prices are still reasonable thrift prices unlike so many other big name thrift stores. It's relatively clean and well organized. There are fitting rooms to try on clothes. They have a cool rewards program too. Earn 1 point for every $1. They deserve 5 stars hands down! The mission itself speaks for them. Taking from their website: Worthwhile is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that reaches and serves survivors of human trafficking and exploitation via our education & empowerment, restorative long-term safe house, and employment programs. The profits from Worthwhile Thrift stores help cover the immense overhead costs associated with running the most comprehensive survivor non-profit in Pennsylvania.​ So there alone they have my money. I'd pay a smidge more just to help support a worthwhile mission! There is an abundance of clothing, shoes, glassware and kitchenware. Then a smattering of all the other things to include records, cds, HS, books, decor etc. it's pretty big, but not overwhelming. It's always clean and pretty organized. The staff has always been kind, helpful and engaging on all my visits. Their pricing is extremely reasonable for so many of the items. I don't think I've thought twice about an item here due to their price. This is always a thrift location I like to visit. read more

I was at worthwhile thrift this afternoon and I have to say the staff and mangment today, 4/17 were outstanding. Someone was having a medical emergency, Harley and April were nothing short of super heros. They were polite and professional handling the whole situation, the cashiers as well! July 2024 I was told about this Thrift shop by a friend. It occupies the old Sears building in the Redners Collegeville Shopping Center. The profits benefit victims of human trafficking. The store has everything from shoes to tools to children's toys. They have a craft section, jewelry, and oodles of home decor. Everything you could imagine! Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. The store is massive and- as always I love to explore. I mostly was window shopping- but- I found a great singing bowl for just 4.99! Of course I got it- it had no striker- but- I already have one. If you want an item without a price- they will give u a price then and there. It's not like good will where you're forbidden to purchase the item. That I like! The workers are super friendly. The day I went t the AC was on the blink- ugh! Closed on Sundays! read more

It's wonderfully surprising what you can discover at Worthwhile Thrift. We have been visiting since their days at the previous location a few minutes down the road. The glassware/dishes/miscellaneous kitchen wares are nicely organized by product and color, the seasonal items are displayed adorably along one aisle on tables so they can be easily spotted. Puzzles, games, gift wrapping accessories, lamps, wall decor, office supplies are presented on shelves for easy viewing. The clothing is sorted by size and there are plenty of racks to browse through. Worthwhile always has a wonderful inventory of jackets/blazers/coats that are so reasonably priced and in great condition if that is what you are looking for. Books, CD's, scarves, handbags, a small assortment of jewelry also live here and the friendly staff are always available to help. Making purchases here is for a very good cause ~ it supports survivors of human trafficking. read more

I love this store and have been shopping here and donating here since it opened. My fiancé' visit almost weekly as we love to thrift and it's an affordable, enjoyable, fun thing to do. On June 13, 2025 I purchased what I was led to believe was an authentic Versace bag. It was not. I tried to return it today and they refused to give me my money back. They told me they KNEW it was a fake! I said the girl is standing right there who sold it to me...she said she was unaware that it was a fake. I said please, I don't want to cause a scene, I even suggested we step off to the side so that no customers would hear our conversation. They again refused. I said I will call the police, she said ok go ahead. I said you sold this to me under false pretenses. She said she is not authorized to give me my money back. I asked, well who is. She said the manager and she's not here. I asked please get her on the phone. I stood there for 5-10 minutes and the entire time was made out to be the bad guy. She came back out and said she would refund my money. I said thank you, I said I really appreciate you helping me. I said I love this store. We had to change registers, I said no worries, all good. Thank you again for taking care of this for me. After the transaction was finished, she said because I threatened her I am no longer welcome in the store. My jaw dropped, I said how did I threaten you....no reply....I said the only thing I said was I would call the police...she said "that is a threat". I said I didn't raise my voice, I did not threaten you with bodily harm, I did not curse at you....she said leave. I said this is what is wrong with the world, you are making me out to be a bad person when all I wanted was justice. She said you need to leave right now. I walked outside and I am so upset, in tears...what did I do to deserve to be treated this way? I just can't understand it. If it was 10 / 20 bucks I would have kept the thing but I paid considerably more than that. Should I report to Versace that they knew they where selling me a fake? It is 100% against the law. I have many witnesses....all the ones who stood there acting like I was in the wrong even though I said to them...I just want my money back. I'm not here to come down on anyone, just return my money. Would the police be able to do anything? It is fraud knowingly selling me a fake. By law the bag should be destroyed. I would NEVER have bought if I'd had known it was a clone. Please people, be fair and honest and I guess take your licks even when you don't deserve them. Terribly disappointed, who is teaching people this behavior is ok? The emoyees are all mostly young adults or teenagers. In witnessing this unjust act, they are led to believe I am in the wrong and their punishment of me is totally acceptable . I understand the store has a no return policy, however it wasn't like I bought the item home and it didn't fit, or I just decided I didn't want it. This was a case of they sold me an imposter which is unlawful. Shame on them!!! read more

I went to worthwhile thrift store May 14th in collegeville I bought a power strip for $6.99 I usually test this time I did not i plugged it in when i got home and only half the outlets worked I called the next day and asked if I could return it they said only if the sticker says so. So I looked and the sticker said tested works not eligible for return. So they lied and stole at the same time. If it doesn't work throw it out. They charged way to much for a broken electronic so dishonest and they got it for free bad business. It's so easy to do the right thing and they did not read more

Great service, friendly, helpful staff. Always makes me feel like they're very happy that I'm there and appreciative of my purchases. This visit I had clothing to drop off. I pulled up a very friendly gentleman came right out, greeted me warmly and unloaded my car for me. Then I went in the store, and of course found a couple of things. It's always fun to browse and not have anything specific in mind. They have a large selection, particularly of nice China, glassware and baskets. This Trip was a quick one, so I didn't have an opportunity to check out any clothing. In general, the staff appears to enjoy their jobs. read more

They CONSISTENTLY put their labels OVER any marks on the bottoms of china and glass. It's a total pain and very frustrating to be looking down the inside of things trying to see if there is a mark from the back. If it's over the possible mark on a piece that is not clear enough to read through, I just put it back. I'm sure nothing would be valuable enough to be worth the risk of being accused of tampering with a price tag. read more

I like to thrift shop and found that this store has better prices and selection than Goodwill. There are tons of clothes and I've found some sporting goods and shoes in excellent condition. The 50% off sales are excellent. My only complaint is that every time I go I see clothes with the price tag attached in a random place on the clothes, causing a hole that can't be repaired. Anyone who is using a tagging gun needs to be taught how to use it properly through a seam. I can't tell you how disappointing it is to find something you like but can't buy due to a hole. Store is always clean. They decorate seasonal display's as best they can with the merchandise available to them. I used to shop there more often, however, in the last year their prices have dramatically increased. I noticed ever since they started doing 1/2 off sales that the prices on the merchandise tripled. So now to get the same "regular" prices you have to go on a 1/2 off day when it's packed and no shopping carts available. I noticed most shoppers there go for the clothes section as they do have a lot of clothes. Housewares is a little lacking and overpriced. I used to stop in when I was in the area...now it's not worth it. I guess they think people don't notice that they increased their everyday prices since they started doing the 1/2 off days. read more
