A year ago this would have been a 5 star rating. Prices have went up If not doubled. I use to come across a good buy on a daily basis but now rarely does that happen. The store in Bear and even on kirkwood is priced well and you still come across those great finds!! This location needs to stop sending so many of their donations to corporate to sell online for more money and keep some for the local shoppers. I donate all the time and am definitely disappointed knowing they do this. I am a Middletown resident and will absolutely drive 15 minutes to the bear location instead of Middletown these days. I am an avid Goodwill shopper. I'm in there all the time, I probably spend anywhere from $200-$300 dollars a week in there due to my business that I run. They have totally increased their prices to a point where I am considering not going there anymore. There are many other Goodwill locations to go to close to this area, including the Goodwill Outlet. The staff is great but the manager is a little rude sometimes and I'm really not sure as to why. I used to really enjoy shopping here but ever since the new management came, it has really been a little crazy. They keep upping the prices! I saw a kenwood turntable in there priced at $49.00, I could get the SAME ONE on Ebay for $25. Most of the staff are AMAZING and super friendly, even they have said the manager is getting a little crazy with the prices and that they have seen a significant drop of people coming into the store. I'm in there all the time, so I talk to customers in there as well and they all agree the price gouging seems a bit much. The other customers recommend going to the Goodwill in Smyrna or Dover, they are much more reasonable. read more

Since the Goodwill changed their system in Feb 2019 you won't find many bargins. Gone are the Goodwill color days since the new items going on the floor since Feb 2019 all have white tags.Many things are way over priced and only have a 7 day store return for credit. You can buy many items cheaper on Ebay and Amazon even with the price of shipping and you have a 30 day return. Many items are not complete missing something. An Xbox 360 console only $25 ebay $10. Nintendo 64 $100. but $50. on ebay. Go just for clothes but watch out for stains and rips stay away from anything with a power cord. Remember these are all donations and many people are just trying to unload their trash. read more

such a wide variety of stuff! i come here a couple times a month and see new stuff all the time, wonder why. It is low price stuff that is high quality. I usually come in here to buy suits for church and proms, such nice can't believe i haven't came here more offenten since now!
