The space next door looks relatively new but at the same time it looks like it is one minute away from disrepair. Also, the lot in front of it is fenced off. The lot in front of this, looks like it was a complete afterthought. Completely not maintained. This location is serviced by a bus and appears to be connected to another plaza as well. However, the lot is always in chaos. Behind the store is a drop off center for donations which is constantly busy with someone either coming or going from back there. Inside, it was just as much a mess as it was outside. The size was small and the sections were disproportionate. Some areas were well organized and stocked and others were just a mess. Nothing of interest to me here. I browsed a few sections and didn't see anything worth snatching up. After a while I was back out to my vehicle to continue on my journey home with the thrift stop here or there.

If you accept this location for its strengths and not focus on the negatives you won't go in with…read morehigh expectations and leave disappointed. I sometimes have to remind myself of this as I make the long drive from Lancaster to this location which is part of my thrift store rotation. First their strengths: Biggest and best toy department of all area thrift stores. While some pieces are not perfect they have a good selection. Your best finds will most likely consist of Little People sets, plastic dollhouses, puzzles, and bigger pieces like kitchen sets. If you are looking for a cheap, functional (but not attractive) furniture piece or dresser in need of a makeover, you will find lots of items here with potential. They also have items I haven't seen elsewhere pertaining to elderly supplies; canes, walkers, etc - best selection here than anywhere. Linens are also strong since the quantity is abundant. You will need to do some sorting but will most likely walk out with what you're looking for. Although it might take a few visits. However don't expect clean isles and lots of organization. Also the location is touchy - only because the big retailer next door closed so the parking lot is scary at night. My most recent visit I was greeted by a homeless man at the front door. So my advice is if going alone go during the day. The biggest disappointment for this store is what they have the most of; clothing. I am constantly disappointed by organization, quality, and especially prices. I've seen new with tags dresses here in the $59 range only to be covered in dog hair and need pressed. You might be on the hunt for black pants and go thru an entire isle of such and think your search is over only to find two more selections with black paints. It's not unusual to find a shirt you like only to discover holes and stains. In fact it's more likely than not at this location as their sorting process is not thorough. Prices overall for clothes are higher. The dressing rooms also need improvement. One hook and a broken mirror as well as a foul smell greeted me this past Saturday. Not to mention ripped up tags and broken hangers on the floor. They could definitely work on that. So while there is flaws it's still worth a trip if you're looking for something secondhand. Maybe just don't drive from as far away as I do.

I've been to this store a few times since 2014 when I discovered it visiting a friend who lived…read moredown the street. The area is a little spotty so I wouldn't advise going at night. Yesterday there was a crew of what I presume is people fulfilling their probation community service hours waiting outside for a ride after their shift at Goodwill. Smoking, cursing, and looking the part of a prison work gang. It was very intimidating to walk past. I'm torn between 2 and 3 stars for this location, settling on 2.5 stars if I could for a number of reasons. First the positives: This location is very small and probably for that reason (or the location) is never crowded. The staff has always been super friendly and will go above and beyond to assist you. I've been there twice around Halloween and can say that their costume selection is exceptional - both new and used, kids and adults, although this visit I saw some that I felt were overpriced. Now the negatives: Being small has its disadvantages, lack of selection in certain departments. Ladies seems a little weak in style and amount of inventory. The place is a mess! I mean stuff on the floor, housewares buried on top of each other, items falling off hangers.... mess. The back is a clusterf*&$ of larger items that are more suited for the dumpster than the sales floor. The quality of some items is very poor. Like obviously flawed donations that shouldn't have ever made it to the sales floor. Probably a good percentage are not sell-able. Dressers covered in stickers and missing drawers, backpacks with huge tears, shoes that are excessively worn, white pants with a large coffee spill stain down the leg...these are some of the examples of items I saw yesterday. I feel that if it's donated, regardless of condition, that it'll end up at this location for sale. Organization, especially children's shoes and housewares, could be greatly improved. Children's shoes are thrown on top of the racks and to find a match you need to check the other racks because they aren't always together. Goodwill in general is higher priced and doesn't take quality into account when pricing. Worth a stop if you love to thrift, are in the area, and it's daylight. But otherwise head across Route 30, there's a bigger and better location waiting for you about a half mile away.

A lot of the furniture in the back room seemed to be fairly priced, but I wish they weren't all thrown on top of each other and hard to get a good look at. I also wish the book selection was a bit broader, or at least better maintained. I saw a lot of aisles with items thrown on the ground and not picked up. This reflects poorly on the clientele, but it also shows the store isn't quick to clean up. There is another Goodwill right down the road which is much cleaner and a little larger - that's the one I go to now in York.

We were on a mission to find unique bric-a-brac for wedding decorations and were not disappointed! Open aisles, not cluttered & clean. Good selection of Hawaiian shirts. There are in fact four total stores, and I can assure that this one is the location in South York. If this reverts back to that actual York location, in downtown, know that I did not visit there and that was definitely not the location I went to. I was not in downtown York, I was in a plaza in South York. In fact, this was an old Tuesday Morning location before they moved in. LifePath is what I would call this areas Goodwill. A thrift store that benefits the area and the work this organization does. I can't speak to all the locations, I can just speak to this one. This location was well organized and had a ton of items. I didn't come in here for anything in particular, I just came in here to browse. I went through the clothes and peaked at the furniture. But I was drawn to the electronics section as I always am. I went up and down the aisles and found one item in particular that caught my eye. Something that I had been toying with getting, but just never found one at a decent price. I walked by it several times and eventually picked it up. I had wanted a hot air popcorn maker for a while, just didn't want to pay the price for a brand new one. Eventually I would get around to it, but not a priority. This thing was basically brand new, didn't even look like it was used once. I saw the price and decided that at $6 now was the time to snag it. Went to pay, had a great transaction with the employees in here. Paid and was out the door. When I got home, I did my due diligence with cleaning the pieces that should be cleaned. It may have looked brand new, but didn't want to take any chances. Plugged that thing in and made myself some of the best popcorn I had in a while. Definitely a diamond in the rough here.
