Unchecked corporate greed has taken root at Goodwill. What used to be a fun weekly stop, browsing the toy section with my son, has been completely ruined by absurd pricing. If Goodwill deems an item "new," they check prices on Amazon, Target, or Walmart to set their own price, often at inflated rates. Even damaged toys are priced based on ridiculous eBay listings. I recently saw a "new" toy that was still $5 cheaper at Walmart. I'm done with this company. Goodwill is no longer a thrift store--it's a wannabe eBay. They've decided to undercut resellers by getting into the reseller game themselves. And it's not just the toys--prices on clothes, knick-knacks, and electronics have skyrocketed as well. It's a total rip-off. Your time is better spent elsewhere at this point. read more

Today, it smelled like cat pee at random spots in the clothing isles of the store. I couldn't figure out the source of the smell, I wasn't sure whether or not I was smelling it in the clothes I had picked up, but what was for sure was that it was there. read more

Always clean and good quality items at this location. The employees are friendly. Furniture is a great price.

I have visited this place a few times. My kids get excited to visit the book section every time. They are excited to see what books are available that day. There are times we come out with like 10 books and sometime 1. Yet yesterdays visit was too look for some 80's retro clothing. It was not a success but we did find some treasures that would bring you down memory lane. It was fun seeing a lot of things we haven't seen in a long time. They have everything here. Books, housewares, furniture, DVDs, VHS, shoes, clothing, piano, toys and so much more. They have a misc section and you have to dig though baskets but I always look though them to see if there are anything I can use on some of my sculptures. They do offer color discounts days and military discount everyday. Stars 1 star for wonderful staff that great you as you walking with a warm hello. 1 star for facilities. The staff truly maintain the story very well. 1 star for prices. I have seen other places that charge a lot more than this store does. 1 star for clean bathrooms 1 star for overall experience each and every time. read more

The service is very good. The pricing is a little on the high side but deals can be found. However, what really bothers me tremendously is that I believe they are instructed to hide imperfections of the items with the price tags or bound together by tape to cover the problem. I'm a repeat buyer and am also a vintage store owner. This situation has happened way too many times for it to be a coinsidence. Whether I'm purchasing for my own use or reselling the item, the feeling of disappointment and spending my hard earned money on junk (when they get it free), is extremely frustrating. Under the sticker tags and/or tape, I've found a host of issues whether it broken, cracked, glued back, chipped, or rubbed off paint. From a professional standpoint, please have a team meeting and make all aware of this situation and put a stop to it. This practice is unfair to all buyers. Only clothes and electronics can be returned, and now I'm understanding why. read more

I discovered this Goodwill two days ago and I love it! They always have amazing decor and clothes.

I started shopping at goodwill about two years ago. I am sorry to say this but I am not impressed with the CIBOLO store at all. It is messy and not well organized. The manager is not very friendly and you can tell she is trying to run a tight ship. But she on three different occasions made poor choices on how to handle store policy's they run you out of the store when they are closing down. And close the bathrooms 15 minutes earlier I spend a lot of month in goodwill. The Goodwill on 1604 and Bulverde is Clean Very organized and. Has a very friendly. Staff lt is worth the getting on 35 and fighting the trucks to get to their store. They don't turn the lights out on you either and they don't seem to have any trouble getting out there when they close. read more

I've been going to this location since it opened. You can always find amazing stuff for good prices. I've furnished most of my room from this store! This store always has great furniture and good clothing brands. I rarely find anything in bad condition here. The donation attendants here are always willing to help and are kind about it read more

honestly pretty small compared to other goodwills but they definitely still have some great stuff here, they offer military discount too which is a plus! read more

I have been to this location several times. Each week is different color discounts. I've bought and donated here. Restrooms are always clean. They have lots of neat stuff. Today I went for nothing in particular but left with a nice polo that would have been expensive somewhere else. Definitely come to this goodwill location if you need anything. read more
