This is a much needed store that competes with Artifacts, the second act, and every other thrift store, but has its own unique vibe that is different from all of the others in Iowa City. When you think of small business, this is it. I highly recommend giving them a look because if you're a little bored from the Iowa City thrift scene, there's a new show in town and the matinee is worth the price! Sellers also know they consign. The owner here is very friendly and personable. She said she had no holiday plans for the 4th itself during the day and her family were out doing their own thing so she decided to open the doors... And we appreciate that! The shop is laid out into three sections. The front main display area. A back room area. And a small room off to the side of the front counter. Very easy to navigate. Don't forget to look at the outside items too! Prices are reasonable and it was a welcome stop during our trip. Heather picked up a couple of things while I walked out empty handed...this time.
