Really dirty and chaotic. Too many items on the shelf. If they would weed out the junk, you could see the acceptable products more easily. The book shelves were not in any kind of order and the prices on books weren't easy to find. This store is mostly clothing, and there were lots of shoppers on this first day of the month. Since I was there for books, dishes, or glass collectibles, I can't honestly speak to quality or selection of clothing. I wanted to ask someone about the price on books, but could not find an employee except for the ones at checkout where there was a very long line. Not sure I want to continue donating here because the state of the store was not very respectful of their clients. I'd hate to be enabling behavior that was hurtful to someone less well off who doesn't have choice about where to shop. read more

This used to be a great spot for deals but their pricing, especially on clothing, has gotten stratospherically high for used stuff. Brand new clothing at Marshall's, Ross, Bealls and TJ Maxx are the same price or a couple dollars more. The clothing is organized by sizes, but often not in the right spot. Good selection of games, but again a bit high on pricing for most things. Examples are open puzzles where you don't know if all the pieces are present for $4 to $5. Some things you can find at the dollar store are $3 here. In the back are DVDs, CDs and record albums. Usually lots of DVDs, but are often scratched and too expensive. The book section is large. They used to separate out children's books but often are just mixed in. It is common they wheel a large cart full of newly donated books and just leave it there. Not only does this block the racks but you can't readily peruse ten deep and sadly books end up damaged. During halloween you can find a huge selection of new stuff. Pricing here can be good compared to competitors. I bought a pirate headpiece right out of Pirates of the Caribbean for $6 that was a hit last year. Bikes are out front and often rusty. Furniture is limited... No couches or larger pieces. Mostly filing cabinets, end tables and chairs. Some art work. Electronics is pretty extensive and they do have a testing station to see if the item works. You cannot return things if they don't so this is the best practice. Good selection of mugs, glasses and kitchen stuff. It is fun to treasure hunt but bargains are getting harder to find. I often leave empty handed. read more

Went to goodwill in Naples/Marco Island last week. Price for clothes are $4.99. color of the week. They have an extra color on Sunday and Monday for $1.99. on top of that every day is different senior day, military day etc. I come back to $7.19 and some 11.99. I've been in the Wesley chapel store on a Sunday morning and have witnessed employees removing clothes with the color of the week putting them on racks and rolling them away to the back. I found a receiver worth $100 on eBay, they were charging $50 I plugged it in and lights are flashing. They wouldn't go down one dollar. The employee wanted to but the manager said no. Went to Goodwill today 6/14/24. I am surprised at the high prices on items. I bought a pajama set only to find out that they charged $6.98 for the top and bottom. It is a set and on the same hanger. I don't think that is fair. Also just about any item I picked up had a sticker that said $4.98 on it, like that was the only sticker they had printed. Most of these items were not worth that price. I was looking for baskets to refurbish for a charity auction. No way I'm paying that for baskets . I must add that there were a lot of items especially clothes in the store and they were putting out more items. Glassware like martini, wine glasses etc. were $1.98 or 2.98. That is too expensive for a thrift store. Some items are cheaper at Dollar Tree than here. The store was very busy and had a long line but it moved quickly thanks to the employees at the registers. The Good Will on 54 East of the Suncoast is just as bad. I used to be able to get good deals on items to repurpose for charity baskets not any more. Guess I'll rely on TEMU. read more

I personally like to shop at Goodwill. What I don't like is being pressured to round up!!! Been shopping at the WC Goodwill for years & only in the last year have I felt pressured. After expressing that to manager Misty at that store, I actually went back and looked at some old receipts where I used a card vs paying cash. There were several times I see where I rounded up. I may not remember all the times I said yes but I do know I rounded every other time and it would appear I was not asked and the rep perhaps misunderstood me or intentionally rounded up. I feel as though the cashiers are pushed to reach a quota. Misty would not confirm or deny that so her silence spoke volumes. I am a frequent shopper there so, I said all that to say this - I think there were likely many round ups that I did not agree to. Also when asked what I was rounding for, the answers varied: Charity Training Various Goodwill Programs So, I started digging a little deeper. I suggest you do the same. Bottom line is, I may still shop there, I will not donate, I will not allow my business to volunteer there, and I will no longer round up. I don't go here as religiously as I use to. They rearranged everything, and the prices have gone up. The selection is so so now. Yes, there is something for everyone here if you feel like digging. From clothes for the whole family to shoes, housewares, bikes, toys, furniture, it is all there, but prices um, yes higher. So this just happened. I was at goodwill and purchased $52.23 worth of stuff. I used my applepay. As I am walking out a lady grabs my cart and said I didn't pay. Mind you my stuff is in bags I said yes I did pay and opened up my Apple wallet to show the transaction Receipt. She tells me (rudely) well it didn't show as paid on our end. I said mame I am showing you my receipt on my phone. She said I could not leave the store with my merchandise. "It's still goodwills merchandise until I pay." She said, "you can't get that stuff for free. We will call the police." really? I then opened my bank app and showed her my 52 bucks was no longer in my bank account so I am out 52 dollars and still have nothing? She calls corp which looks my transaction up using the last four of my credit card. Nope no transaction, you can't have the stuff. Now it wasn't not getting the items I just spent all morning finding. It was like they had my money and wouldn't give me the merchandise I would be out both. She says "you need to pay again" I said, then I will have paid 104 dollars for over priced stuff. No way. So I went over by the office and called the bank. They are surrounding me like I was going to make a break for it. My bank tells me the purchase indeed went through. And that they will get paid, why wouldn't they? The bank had no idea what this woman was going on about. I would have to file a dispute and get my money back. Usually take 7 to 10 days to investigate. Nice, now no stuff and out the money for a week or so. The bank asks did you get the merchandise you paid for. I said no they won't let me leave the store. 10 minutes on the phone with the bank reporting this issue and the lady walks up and said since you used Apple Pay it didn't show up on our end by using your card number. But they looked it up by amount and time and found it so I am free to go. No apology No sorry we treated you like a criminal and tried to get me to pay you twice. Nothing Just oops our bad you can go. I deal with the increasing prices because I just get what I think is a good bargain. But lately they are so rude and their customer service is non existent. God forbid you find something you like without a price. They either won't sell it to you or jack the price up so much from what it probably was that you don't want it. Horrible high prices and just mean bullies working there. And one of the ladies said "I have been working here 20 years" Well congratulations you have been working at this same job for 20 years and take it out on disabled old ladies. And read their google reviews they have done this same scam to others. One lady there is still fighting with her credit card company disputing a charge they said they didn't get and took her merchandise away. Beware of very high prices. $4.95 for the top of a generic child's PJ set and $4.95 for the matching bottoms. People check out Walmart that has the cutest pj's brand new for 15 bucks. Top and bottom Just be prepared to pay premium prices on junk and don't need an employees help forget that. And don't use Apple Pay. Don't leave the store without the merchandise you paid for. Even if that lady tries to intimidate or bully you into it. And don't run your card twice. You will be paying double. My payment went through with no issues at all. I just checked. They would have either taken my merchandise or charged me twice. Bad bad business. read more

I wish there was a negative star. My daughter died and she loved Goodwill. We gave many of her items to the organization including a jewelry box that was mistakenly donated. We left it Saturday evening and my other daughter went back to try to retrieve it on Sunday morning. She could see it as it had not yet been disseminated throughout the store. The manager, Wayne, told her that he would not give it to her, he would have to file a report and get permission and would call her later that day. We are still waiting for Wayne's phone call. I called the corporate office to speak to "Drew" the person responsible for public relations... the person who answered the phone was very sympathetic, but you probably guessed it...no call back from Drew either. My daughter didn't have any really valuable items but her little treasures were important to us. The only thing that I have to say to Goodwill is "Bye, Felicia" - thanks for putting the perfect cap on what was a terrible journey. Please do not support this awful organization... UPDATE- We finally heard back from Drew- 2 weeks later. Of course, it was too late by then- everything was gone throughout the Goodwill system. Here's the interesting part (to me). I live right next door to this location and im a daily visitor. The staff is great here. The concentration and quality of customers ruined this store. I was able to have a quiet relaxing experience in the past but noww the parking lot is over packed and stressful. Inside the store I patiently let the staff place items out and specific customers will cut right in front of you like you dont exist or will steal items out of your shopping cart. Terrible experience for anyone dealing with stress, claustrophobia, anxiety or depression. People theoretically fighting over garbage and over paying on crapola. Other locations are much better based on the low density of customers. I cant find a single thing worth buying from this location and before i would buy carts of stuff. This is the demise of society. Over 50% of the electronics they are selling is broken, damaged or worthless. Disappointing because that was my store. read more

I love thrifting but sometimes thrift stores inflate some prices. For example, these kitchen mats are $7 at this Goodwill while they're only $5 at Walmart. I've seen it done with some furnitures too. I have been to a few Goodwill's in my time and I do always find myself coming back to this one. When you walk in the place does seem clean and organized as best as possible. It is a large store and they seem to do a good job of keeping the inside and outside looking nice. The donation area is on the right side of the store outside and it was kinda hard to see unless you were looking or knew where it was. The whole store is a bit tucked away but with the gps it was pretty easy to find. When going through the racks of clothes they do a good job of ordering everything by size. Granted customers are bound to misplace things, it is pretty well kept (no clothes on the ground or empty hanger sticking out). Whenever I go I sometimes don't find anything I would wear but it is one of those places where you can find some gems if you look hard enough. All in all, this was one of the better locations I have been to and I will for sure be back to look through the racks soon! read more

WORST customer service ever. There was a huge line starting, to wait for whatever of the 3 registers were open next and SO many people cutting in front just not caring. I said something to someone and the guy said "sorrry" and just stayed where he was. He cut the entire line. And when I finally got to check out I told the lady at the register ( HALLD on my receipt ) and she had the audacity to say " this is my last week so I don't really care". I have dropped off donations to this location many times over the years. I know that they don't open till 10 AM, but I have frequently dropped off donations and left them by the doors prior to them opening. This morning I went simply to donate a bag of 30 Christmas bows, and a lady ran out and told me they don't take donations until 10 AM. I said I was just dropping them off and I did not need a receipt. And she nastily said well then that will be considered "illegal dumping." what kind of person acts like that at a place that accepts donations for the poor? I wasn't dumping trash. It was simply one bag of Christmas bows. Goodwill will never get my donations again. I hope she is proud of herself and feels great about the power she thinks she has. Don't want to let out the secret but this is the best Goodwill store. I can always find name brand clothes at a fraction of the price, Ann Taylor, DKNY, under armor. They also have a great selection of kids clothes because kids grow out of clothes so quickly, they can get new clothes more often. They also have a kids toy area that the kids love to look through and play with. They have a main store and actually an extra store in the back with even more items, mostly household items. Great selection, sometimes have to wait in line a bit but it's worth it. I've come out of there with 15 items for $75. read more

This Goodwill superstore makes it very easy to drop off unwanted items for donation. They have a drive up drop off along with an attendant who will meet you at your vehicle and remove the items foryou. They will also bring you out a date stamped receipt and quickly send you on your way. read more

The best Goodwill I've ever been to. Why? Because the store is super clean and you will find oodles of designer products here for amazing prices. I kid you not, I buy most of my clothes here and I'm not ashamed to say so! Clothing brands that you can find often: Calvin Klein, American Eagle, Lucky, Hollister, Ann Taylor, Charlotte Russe, Forever 21 (so many sundresses!), Express, Nike, Adidas, Ralph Lauren, Victoria's Secret. I could go on and on. Most t-shirts are $4-$10. Shorts are around $5. Sundresses $5-$10. You really can't beat the prices and most of the clothes are like new! Sometimes with the tags still attached. Also a great place if you are looking for a simple piece of furniture or a cooler. If you love a good deal and like to hunt for a bargain, you MUST stop here. Love my Goodwill!! read more

I don't know what is going on with Goodwill, but they are not living up to their beginnings, their roots. They were started by a Methodist minister to help handicapped people learn and train so they can get real jobs. Now, Goodwill is only about money. They are not a charity, they are not a nonprofit. They lie constantly - they tell people they help students, get jobs for people, improve lives. But their corporate executives make at least 1/2 a million dollars each. One CEO in Portland Oregon was making $900,000 a year and the City of Portland told him that is not acceptable for a nonprofit charity. So his salary was reduce by 25% and he is still making a half a million dollars a year. It is true that Salvation Army CEO makes about $25 - 50,000 a year and he gets a place to live, like an apartment, and maybe a car...the rest of the money does go to the Salvation Army homeless shelters and soup kitchens. STOP GIVING TO THESE CORPORATE MONSTERS!!! read more

I stop by here once in a great while. Overall their prices are on the high side for a thrift store. I suppose it's because it's located in Wesley Chapel. Their prices for women's clothing varies on the high side. I rarely look at the tops or blouses because they are priced way too high. I recently bought a pair of jeans for $3.99, some Merona high heels for $8, and some used books which are about $1.67 for paperbacks and $3.67 for hardbacks. I look at their purses and bags too. I found a nice Michael Kors bag for $15 and a large Jessica Simpson tote bag for $4. I have to hunt for reasonable prices whenever I shop at this location though. Their norm is high prices. For example their women's shoes seem high. $9, $12, $15, $20. I am used to spending $5 to $8 for used shoes. Their changing rooms are spacious and I did not have to wait long for one. They have a public restroom which is a plus especially for children and you do not have to ask if you can use their restroom as though YOU are a child. Overall a good thrift store for variety and its large size. Not a great one due to their high prices. read more

I got a dresser nightstand combo for about $40. It was amazing. There are tons and tons of things. As usual, you have to search to find what you're looking for, but overall great. I would say that I wish they had more space for furniture, and that there were more cashiers. It seems like 9/10 times I go there, there is no one at the cash register, all 10 people shopping decide to check out at the exact same time, and the one people up front is helping with a return or locked item, or something, so everyone is just standing up there looking dumb. If I walk in to find something fast, I do, but as soon as I want to check out, there is nothing speedy about it. Either way, I could spend hours sifting through the junk. This location is pretty clean, which is nice, some Goodwills are depressing when you go in them. I went to find some shorts to wear on a ATV excursion. First off, they have no organization, you have to go one by one to find your size. I was having no luck, everything was either super small or way too baggy, or big. I finally found one pair and they are really cute, they are from Express and were $7.00. Not bad, but I would have thought at Goodwill, they would have been cheaper. I have heard of people finding brand new clothes as well as really nice shoes and purses. I have no patience in sifting through everything to find something nice. You will definitely be looking for a while to find something nice or new. You might even have to go back a few times in a row. They have a great book selection, I have gotten a few books that are like brand new. The hardbacks I believe are $3.99 and paperbacks are between $2.00 and $3.00. A little high for books, but not too bad. If you are looking for a great outfit for a themed party, say 80s, halloween. etc.. then you will find what you are looking for, they have great selections. You can also find household items, for your kitchen, or old appliances as well. They even have a jewelry area too, I personally haven't looked at that area. read more

Love doing some bargain hunting every now and then so I decided to try out a new goodwill location. This store did not disappoint!!! As I was looking through the shoe section A goodwill employee came up to me and asked me if i wanted to get first dibs on a new shoe bin she was about to roll out, of course I said yes! I found quite a few gems in the bin and lots of savings. The store is very big and open, they have lots of selection and are always changing out new stuff. They even have a drive-through if you want to drop off your donations. Definitely lots of good deals, but keep an eye out for 50% off days with certain color tags. Nothing against goodwill or the good work they do, I will keep donating items to them. My complaint are the cashiers. I don't know if they get paid. If they get paid, they are drastically overpaid! I was there to look around and picked up some glasses, I went to pay on one of two lines, the line I went to had an imbasile as a cashier, he told us that the line was closed, ok we went yo the other line that had a chatterbox as a cashier. I don't know if she noticed all the people on line, or just didn't care. I then look over to the other line with idiot cashier number one, and see him taking care of other customers. I find some great stuff sometimes, but sometimes the prices are way higher than if you were to buy it brand new in a regular store. The managers are rude. And I never see them do anything. One of the managers let's a whole slew of either her family or her friends, not sure which, come in every weekend with a ton of kids and let's them wander all over the place a muck, snapping pictures of customers, throwing things, etc. Also she holds things in the back for them which is a big No No. AND they never ever have enough registers open. They call for back up but no one ever shows up while the manager is too good to get on the register and help out just standing around with a smug look on her face. read more
