If you are a size X-Large to 1x your selection is sparse. Other than that there are some very nice selections. Pricing is high for a thrift shop it's more like high priced thrift store. I've frequented label swap for years, but my past 2 visits warrant this rating. I'm not sure what changed here, perhaps new management? On Friday, I called in advance regarding designer mens suits, indicated that I had several suits including brands such as Zenga and Burberry. I explicitly asked if they even take men's suits, the buyer said sure bring it in. Mind you she made me take them off the hangers and they were in excellent pressed condition. 3 days later, the salespeople inform me, " We don't buy men's suits because they don't sell". Now I have 5 designer suits in trash bags after they wasted 3 days of my time. I dropped off several pairs of sneakers the day I picked up my suit. Another 2 days goes by for the staff to inform me, " we don't buy men's size 13s because they don't sell." Ok sooo what do they sell these days..for men, old American Eagle and other discount brands. I could go on eBay or to a thrift store and find their mens inventory for less money... It's sad because they used to sell high-end mens clothing and would buy too. Not these days. I was in the need for some items and decided to try the new consignment shop labelswap. I liked this store and the clothing options it had to offer. I have gotten some shirts, accessories, and shoes from the the store. They are limited on large sizes so if you are a size 14 and up the clothing options are limited. My partner has always lucked out when he goes to labelswap. He has found shorts, shirts, and shoes for good prices. He even has purchased shirts with the tags still on them. I think the men's section selection is a better than the women's section due to a variety of sizes and clothing options. The service is lacking at labelswap. The cashiers and staff have never been super friendly to customers. I think that should change a bit to help create a welcoming atmosphere. I have sold to labelswap as well and it was an okay experience. First, they need your license information which I have never encountered when selling with equivalent stores like Plato's Closet. When I inquired about why labelswap needed the info the staff member said that was due to pawnshop laws. I did not think labelshop was a pawn shop. I did not get more an explination than that. I left the items I wanted to sell and came back the next day after getting a text that mt offer was ready. Labelswap does not give you a price per item and instead just offers you a total amount. I asked for the price per item and I did take some items back due to what labelswap wanted to offer for the item. Overall, I do not think I will have labelswap as my first choice to sell items. And the workers are super nice and friendly, Laura helped me figure out what the sticker colors mean and was super attentive when checking me out. This location beats Plato's and Uptown by a million. I can count on finding clothes here that are like new and brands that I like. The store is always clean and the clothes are stylish and relevant. In my opinion, the prices are reasonable because they pay for these clothes, they are not donated. They always have stuff on sale too so there is a big chance you may find something you really like for 75% off. They also have a glass case with brands such as Gucci, LV,MCM, and more. I highly recommend if you like buying designer second hand clothes. Just don't expect goodwill prices because this is not Goodwill, it's better lol. read more

First, the parking is a little weird where the building entrance is right into the alleyway where cars are driving. It fine; there were shaded spots to park. Once inside, I was greeted right away but that was it. The employees otherwise didn't acknowledge me or ask if I needed help. When I finally made eye contact with one to ask about sizes, I was given a look like it was obvious how big the sizes went. It was my first time and the store was in sections so I wasn't sure. No need for attitude. Honestly, the whole place seemed kinda pretentious. I found a few things that might work but one had a huge stain on the front. The prices are decent for used clothing but not as good as some of the other used stores in the area. If you're looking specifically for small sizes and luxury brands then this is a good place for you. If you're just a normal person looking for clothes, might not be worth the drive. read more

I've always had a great experience shopping & selling at labelswap, but the past few times I've come to buy and or sell, it's been a pretty unpleasant experience. It feels like their selling rules change monthly, which I understand it's based on supply / demand, but very inconvenient for customers to keep up with. Streamline a concrete process that works for your customers and your employees. I came in to sell and was told the wait time for in-store buy was 1 1/2 hours and drop off would be 5-8 days. I'm traveling for the holidays so I agreed to wait for the in-store buy. The woman checking me out asked me "are you sure?" To which I said yes I can browse around. After an hour and twenty minutes of browsing through the store (which I didn't mind, but their selection was the poorest quality of clothing I've ever seen) I went up to the counter & asked the same woman for an ETA on my in-store buy. She panicked a bit, realizing they never sorted through my bag. I heard her and another employee mumbling about how I was not clear on how I wished to my drop-off. If I wasn't clear, which I was because you asked me twice, why wouldn't you ask me again to confirm???? After two hours of waiting, I got less than a $50 cash offer on 15 items (most never worn/worn once) worth over $1000 combined that I would have certainly received $100+ on a year ago. I have 3+ years of retail experience and I am appalled at the way the staff was conversing in front of customers, prioritizing their extremely personal conversations over assisting customers. I get it's close to closing time, but you are still on the clock. Unfortunately will not be coming back & recommend selling your clothes elsewhere. read more

Came all the way from Port Richey over an hour drive . As soon as I walked in they were like 30 items. I had less than 30 and very nice brand new men and female items some with tags on them. But it was waste of time coming here. They wanted me to come back in a few days I told them I drove over an hour then they told me for selling in store it would be a 2 hour wait but I couldn't leave the store, I can't even go to my car. I didn't wait because I was starving. What a waste of time and NO compassion from Selina that I drove over an hour to get there. I could see if I wasn't back by the end of the day then they would take your items and donate or something like that but that is so crazy that you want me to wait in the store for hours?! This is a higher end store to purchase gently used clothing for a broader age range than similar stores. The store is in a convenient location and had alot of parking behind the store. I appreciated that they keep most of the items by color scheme and the store was clean and organized. I visited the store 2 times. The first time I found a very nice form fitting dress for Valentines day, a cute skirt and a J Crew men's shirt. They have a smaller men's section towards the back of the store. The second time I brought my 21 year old daughter. She was really looking forward to getting some new clothes after seeing my purchases, however, she did not find anything she would wear. I found something I liked so that was 2 for 2 for me. I think the purses were a little over priced and some of then men's clothes and I am hoping they will incorporate a few more youthful items for 20 somethings. I fell in love with this thrift store and I shop often, today I bought over $100 in clothes and I just didn't have a good experience when it came to checkout. The lady at the register noticed a tag missing from a bathing suit and kept insinuating that I took the tag off in the fitting rooms. I literally just picked the bathing suit from the shelf. She said about 3 times " well maybe it fell off while u were in the fitting rooms but that's so weird the tag isn't on there" I'm sitting there confused. Then she left the security tag on the sunglasses that I paid for so the alarm went off when I walked out the door and I turned around so she could check everything she just rang up. I didn't feel comfortable at all. I was just literally getting some clothes for my vacation so why would you assume I ripped the tag off the cheapest item I had in my basket? All she had to say was hey I don't see the tag on here but this is the price but it took her 20 mins trying to figure out what happened to the tag that was gone before I even picked the item from the shelf. Imagine an upgrades Plato's closet. Everything that I saw here was in really good shape and well priced. The store is very organized and clean. Would definitely recommend if you have the time to peruse the racks. Definitely some gems in there. If you catch extra discounts at the right time you could definitely get a steal. So disappointing, first off, they only allow 10 items of clothing when selling, & tell you to walk around store until they text you when it's done. It was dead , I walked around for an hour and 1/2, didn't get a text it was even done, had to walk up and ask and it had been done for god knows how long or not, they didn't take a single item because of "condition" although 5 of them were NEVER WORN/ STILL HAD TAG.
