Great place to shop to find unique items for around the house and the prices are the best in town. You can find well-kept clothes to TVs to table stands. I'd give a zero if possible. I was in there today and tried to buy a plush that was marked with a $1.01 sticker. I get to checkout and the manager (Nardin I believe) didn't want to sell it to me because they have marked all the plush of that size up to $3.99 but obviously someone missed that item. I told him he could keep it and all my other items as well. I then mentioned the Martinelli's apple juice jar sitting on the shelf marked $4.99. He tried to act dumb like he wasn't responsible for the price. He doesn't know I know he is the manager. This particular store has gotten absolutely ridiculous with their pricing. I guess they've forgotten they get all their items for FREE and that Goodwill is supposed to be a place where you can affordably shop for goods. read more

Just pulled up here to try and donate goods. The guy working the delivery section outside today 8/4 was easily one of the rudest employees I've ever come across. He's about 5'5 with brown hair and beard. Told me that I needed to pull around the building to donate. I asked him if I just needed to go to the front because there was no loading section there. He just waved his hands and told me to drive around. However when I did so, no one came out to my car to assist. So we went and asked him what we were suppose to do and he was very rude and said "look lady, some people let people pull in the wrong way" and proceeded to tell me to drive around the building again to pull up on the proper side. When I went to pull around the building AGAIN, I got out of my car only to see that another vehicle was parked exactly where I had originally pulled up and was having their items unloaded from their car. If you want half way decent customer service I would strongly recommend using a different location. read more

The entire store was a chaotic mess, almost as if somebody ransacks the place every morning and nobody comes to clean it up after. Also, dressing rooms are still closed (but open at most retail stores??) so I wasn't able to purchase any clothes. just moved here from NC where we had taking 6 suv loads to the goodwill to donate when we got here we needed to decrease what we had even more took another suv load to this goodwill the gentleman came out and started going through our stuff saying he would not take certain items we wanted to give them they are no longer there to try to help people in need like they once were I stopped buying from them awhile back because they had gotten so expensive now I will no longer donate to them what he didn't know that in one of the boxes was a Henkel vacuum sealer with bags and glass food savers to go with it read more

Unorganized, messy, and they don't seem to get the best donations to help them. One person only at the register = ridiculous long line.

You can look but can't buy. Apparently, if it's on the floor not priced, they have to process it it before putting another tag on, which takes days. So, don't get your hopes up if you see something you like, cause odds are there's no price tag on it. What a joke. Goodwill is Goodwill. I don't come in here to be treated like royalty or for everyone to say hello to me. I come in here to find things for CHEAP. The workers were eh. None of them were overzealous but none of them were downright rude. I got my stuff and got out pretty quick. Like usual there was only one register open (channeling Walmart huh? Lol) and there were 4+ people in line not including me. Thank GOODNESS they opened the jewelry counter register as soon as I got in line so I scurried over there! Still took a minute though. I like stopping by this Goodwill. It's large and spacious, and the comforter section is quite good. They have the large comforter hangers so you can see all of them. I picked up three for $10 each, and I use them to cover my couch for when my pups jump up on the sofa to sit with me, and the other two for their crate beds. Checkout line is always long and only one person working, but no other complaints other than that! read more

Me and my fiance went to look for furniture. We found an item outside of the store. We asked if we could buy it but one of the workers said no. We said we would price match it with anything in the store but they still said no. One of the managers told us it would be processed and out to buy the next morning. So my fiance planned to get up early before work drive an hour and go buy it. He gets there as the store opens and can't find the table. Another manager said she didn't know why the other manager said it would be processed and ready to buy today because they don't know when it will be ready. And of course he couldn't buy it from the back. So the miscommunication in this staff is terrible. We just wanted a dang table that you didn't even buy. This is the only Goodwill I usually won't buy something from. I'm normally a fond customer of Goodwill, but sadly the one closest to me is quite a bit lacking. Their prices are significantly higher than the Goodwill I have back at home (in John's Creek, GA). Furniture here is not worth buying, and you can tell that even the cool little knick-knacks you find are more pricey than other Goodwills. The employees here have always been kind. I have always appreciated Goodwill as a business and value their purpose. This location might be worth checking out, but make sure you have some extra cash to spare. read more

This is the perfect place to find some name-brand cloths at a really low price, and the shoes that are barley worn and most look new. The staff was very helpful and very nice. I will definitely shop here more often! read more

CUSTOMER WARNING... STORE DENIES TO DO ANY RUTURN THAT IS NOT FROM THIS STORE !!! I bought an item from another goodwill that was 1 hour away from my home, I brought it to this location with the tags and receipt... the employee and manager told me to go back to the original store (1 hour away) I showed that the goodwill return policy online it says you can do a return at ANY GOODWILL as long as you have the receipt and the tag... now I have to spend gas money and time to do this return... !!!!! read more

This location, like most others, is pretty hit or miss. I have found nice things such as J. Crew sweaters and Ann Taylor skirts here - basically the mid-tier standards of thrift stores. Brands such as Loft, Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, etc. are plentiful, but you'll have to dig through racks of Target and Walmart brands to find something you like. A big con to a lot of Goodwill locations, including this one, is the fact that they pick out their most valuable donations and they put them on a wall behind a counter and jack the price up a bunch. All shoes are $5.95, and the shoes behind the counter can be between $20-$70. Things like that can really ruin the thrifting experience to some people - there's not much of a chance that you'll score a designer find, because they've already picked them all out. However, this location is very large. There are probably at least 20 racks of clothing, plus a lot of shelves carrying household items, books, and toys. There is also a furniture section that has great pricing. Overall, I recommend this location for basic clothing and goods, but if you're looking for treasures I would recommend some other independently owned thrift shops in the local area. read more

So perhaps Goodwill is getting g a little too big for their britches. I'm a chef instructor about ready to retire and beginning to downsize. The Hubs took 4 large boxes of assorted kitchen stuff to the Kennesaw location. Three boxes were closed, one was not. For the open box, the employee looks in, SATs, "we don't take junk", and refused it. Wanna know what was in the box? A working Cuisinart espresso machine with all its parts and pieces, a working Ninja blender with all of the parts and pieces, a working Cuisinart mini chopper, a crapton of measuring spoons, cups, ladles, slotted spoons, choppers, pastry blenders, etc. all clean. There were even items in that box that had never come out of their original containers/wraps. The hubs says the guy never even took anything off the top. WTH Goodwill? You have Sotheby's there now? This represents the very last time I will EVER take anything to your donation center, anywhere. I will have patience and wait for the likes of MUST Ministries the several weeks to come pick up my stuff. At least then I will know it is going to people who will benefit rather than disgruntled, underpaid employees while the owner of Goodwill takes in millions. Bye-bye Goodwill. read more

Very organized environment, clothing is very easy to pick from, and neatly arranged on hangers, however, when did Goodwill become so expensive? Why mark up shoes that people have donated to you for FREE? So what if its a "name brand" it is still USED! Whats with the 4 dollars and 39 cents for a dingy, out of date, woman's blouse?? It's a gravely sad disservice to poor and elderly shoppers who are not rich, many of whom are on fixed and low incomes with children to clothe and feed during this economic time when many are UNEMPLOYED. You can often find a better buy at Wal-mart during their midday 1/2 off clearance sales and also at Targets clearance racks, much better deals for BRAND NEW CLOTHES AND SHOES AND HOUSEWARES!!! read more

Wow, I'm in love with thrifting again! I had been turned off by the last couple of used goods stores I visited (not in the area). So I was incredibly wary of trying this one. However its close by to where I live and its a nice area, which I was hoping was indicative of what was offered in the store; and I was right! This store is kept neat, it doesn't smell like the inside of a garage, and they've got a great selection of items. I was only there to check out tshirts to upcycle into workout shirts. I ended up buying my kids books there. They were in perfect condition, looked as if they'd only been read a handful of times. We usually go to the library and borrow books, but I was able to get my older daughter some classics for only $0.75 each; what a great bargain when we had a great selection to choose from. Hard bound children's books are $1.50. read more

If you go to this goodwill make sure you are able to leave with what you purchase. They resell the larger items if you can not take them with you. The staff is very lazy and uncaring when a mistake is made. I will think very carefully before going to this particular store in the future. read more

Really disappointed in this location. Nothing really caught my eye and the shelves were not really stocked with much. Seems to be really worn down. Normally I wouldn't expect much because thrift stores are thrift stores, but I have been to tons of goodwills around Georgia and this one is definitely one of the most worn down ones I've been to read more

The shopping experience in and of itself is great, and I love shopping at goodwill. However, the cashiers are often rude and don't understand how the pricing works within the store. I still visit every now and again, but I dread going through the checkout lines and facing whichever person will give me attitude at the counter. read more

went to donate some items that i purchased from various goodwill stores and was turned away. so much for putting people to work.

Great staff,but unsafe work practices behind the scenes.Employees there work so hard in the back,and aren't supported by management I noticed mainly with Oniko and Paul.The employees were trying to do their jobs by the door but didnt have many bins to work with to place sorted items,but were being demanded to move them away from the donation door,to another area of the floor because of there being no bins to place sorted items.They have great store items,but I witnessed the 2 management members not caring about the amount of space they had to work with,and having to still maneuver carts and a huge trash can bin,as well as still having to walk through space that should be free and clear of clutter.The new area even has yellow tape showing the walk space.It just simply does not work.J witnessed temp workers help Goodwill clean piles of clothing and items from the back room as well huge boxes that had been stored in the very back of store for some time.The employees deserve better support from the management mentioned period.The other management I had a chance to meet seemed more motivated by the amount of work that got done in such a short amount of time.I have pictures to prove the workspace was unsafe from what I witnessed.I really hope these 2 people could be held accountable for their part because the employees did best they could with space they had.I hope to bring awareness to the employees work space by donor door and also prevent an accident that's waiting to happen. read more
