This Goodwill was awesome!!! I came by on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't too busy. They had an awesome selection of everything. The book section here was huge, and the deals were great! $4.99 for hard covers and $3.99 for paperbacks!!! You can't beat those prices. I found four books and a beautiful picture of some trees!!! Melinda was very helpful and rang up my items fast. I would definitely comeback here next time I'm in the area. read more

I spend a *TON* of time and money thrifting every single week, 85% of which is various goodwills. This particular location is one that I don't frequent terribly often, as it's just not on my way to or from anywhere. I have a really decent rapport with pretty much all of the staff and managers at probably at least the next 8 closest goodwills. This one is the exception. The red headed (really long presumably natural ginger) manager is literally unhinged with the way she treats the merchandise she is ringing up for people, literally slamming 75 year old glasses into the counter, and laughing when she smashes heavy plates down on top of dainty little glasses to the point of needing to be inspected for breakage. In spite of this, when politely asked if she had any newspaper for the most fragile and delicate items (like 3-4 pieces) , she looked around, and said no, sorry, but I can bag them separately so they don't break" (and as much of a tree hugging hippie as I am, these same 75 year old glasses (that were overpriced af btw), wouldn't make it home all rattling around willy nilly sans any protection. "Okay, thanks so much!" And literally I turn to dig for my phone to tap, and turn back around as she literally shoved the entire bag with 4 separate breakable items right in front of my face, leaving them crashing against each other as they bag kept swaying side to side. "I guess the whole I'll wrap them separately so they don't break comment was entirely inaccurate, huh?" "Well, idk why you think we are OBLIGATED to provide you newspaper, we don't have to do that and we're not GOING to do that and I'm NOT going to wrap them separately". Okay psycho, but literally instead of just lying for the sake of lying and being surprised when a customer is horrified to hear their 75 year old glasses clanking against each other, why even bother to say you will to begin with?!?! Like I genuinely have no clue wtf her problem is, but clearly she was bothered immensely by being expected to do her job in a competent manner with the most minute fraction of customer service skills. Like I get it, girlypop. If I had your job, I would be a raging psycho that had no respect for anyone or anything, too.... But literally, goodwill should really evaluate which managers should have a customer service forward type of position, bc this was literally the most wildly obnoxious customer service I have *EVER* experienced in a goodwill. Stop lying to people, that's gross af. Be a better human. read more

It's a decent Goodwill. I was told this is one of the better ones, but I really think the one on Fort Lowell is the best Goodwill in Tucson. It's a very big location. They have a lot of clothes more than anything. It's nice that they have a "heroes discount" on Sundays and Mondays for healthcare providers. Much appreciated. read more

Stopped here as I was looking for a 100% cotton T-shirt to use for a staining furniture project as it's my preferred method of wiping away applied stain. I noted at the entrance that green tags were half off so I was aiming for that in mind. I did a quick walk through of furniture & found prices were fair but not great. Made my way to T-shirts as that's what I initially came here for & found one on green label priced $4.99 so I paid $2.49. The personnel I came across do keep to themselves as they are busy putting things on shelves but friendly if you approach them. It's a busy place but can't say I saw folks with baskets full of products as in my opinion prices were fair, I guess you have to follow the thrill of the hunt but I was only looking for a specific item & thought I got a great deal having known the markdown color tag. read more

I have to admit I was a bit skeptical after seeing that they only had 3.2 stars but my daughter and I loved this Goodwill. Not only did we both find several items we loved the staff was so friendly. We will definitely be back. read more

Just left the store after waiting for a manager on duty to process a return. The manager was page by the cashier three times waited 10 minutes and after that I left. Well I never thought I would be writing a review on the Goodwill store, but I had wandered in here a few months ago and I decided today to check it out again as I was a bit shocked at how neat & clean this place is. I'm unsure about other locations, but this place has new items for sale too. They have pet supplies, kitchen utensils, bedroom items -- such as organic (yep you read that right "organic" sheets!) bathroom goods and organic soaps (they actually smelled good!). And of course there's the same apparel as in other goodwill stores, along with books and cds, plates and furniture items. This so far in my experience has been the cleanest goodwill I've ever been to. (Yeah, you are right; it is still stuffy inside.) Check it out for yourself. You might wanna go another time or two after that! read more

I had a lot of fun in the store. My friend and I like to go to thrift stores and often laugh at some of the ridiculousness of the items. There was a good mix of quality, stylish clothing but also an ungodly amount of sequins, furry, neon, frilly clothing to giggle at. If that's your thing, you've come to the right store. The prices are good, the jackets in particular were well-priced. The layout of the store is a little confusing, but we were there to sort of meander and hang out so we had plenty of time to see everything. they do have sales every day, I'm not entirely sure what they are. If you enjoy a good hunt, this is a fun place to go. read more

My room mate and I had some things to donate , so we loaded up her car and drove to Goodwill. I have never used this one before, but it was easy peezy! They have a drive through system. We unloaded the car, and the very nice staff helped with a cart for the larger items. I got rid of any clothes I had not worn in a year, and some other long overdue items. read more

Leaving no stars. my wallet was accidentally donated. I had $200 cash in it. someone in the store took all of my money. The only thing they told me to do was call corporate. which of course means there's no chance of ever seeing my money again. I am a single parent and was doing a good deed by donating things I didn't need vs selling them so that the next person who might need something at a lesser price could get it. This is a very frustrating and emotional situation. It's crazy how many businesses allow for thieves to willing be under their roof. Especially in a place that's supposed to be about donating. read more

This Goodwill in particular, Is just rundown. The other thing I've noticed is the prices are "nickel and diming"....the customers. An extra $.29 on the price, Here or there. And then if at register to be asked if you wanna round up to the nearest dollar. (???) People shopping at Goodwill need A break not to be excessively charged for their purchases. I don't get it. And I'm not really sure they're a nonprofit anymore. I have a hunch they're making millions and not giving back in any meaningful way. in fact who is making the money?? Shhhhhh, don't go here! Really it's my favorite Goodwill in the area! I always find something great! Racks are full but not overstocked/overflowing. There is some bought stuff here, but I avoid those areas. Some areas you have to sort through a bit more than others. read more

Today was my final visit to this store. This was my fourth visit to this Goodwill location. Three of the times visiting the overall scent in the store is outhouse/portapotty. My reason for visiting this store today was to search for a specific type of shoe, and to return a pair of bowling shoes I purchased for my husband that were too narrow for his foot. We were well within the week return time frame. I waited in line for more than 5 minutes while the person in front of me checked out and asked for, and received, a 50% discount on several clothing items due to some tag issue. When it was my turn, the cashier said she couldn't do returns, and called back the very same woman/manager that gave the discounts to the customer in front of me. She informed me that they do not accept shoes for return, only textiles. Interesting, since really the bowling shoes are sporting goods, and regardless, it does seem ridiculous to specifically exclude shoes from being able to be returned. My overall feeling regarding the entire exchange was that if I were returning a white blouse today, I would have been informed that white blouses, tags attached and well within the week return time frame, are not returnable, and most certainly if I'd been the one requesting 50% on clothing items I was looking to purchase, I would have been refused. I believe that my return was refused based on subjection, which I find inexcusable and appalling. read more

This is a great Goodwill! The staff were friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The store was as clean as can be expected, with no strange odors. The items were very reasonably priced (jeans for $4.99, heavy jackets for $2.99, ect). Overall, an awesome experience! Keep up the good work! read more

The Ina Goodwill has the market cornered---the only other nearby thrift closed its doors a year ago. As a result, this store is always busy and the prices reflect that. You will not find many bargains here, except perhaps for kids clothes (4.99/ coat). I've picked up nice but not top of the line tennis shoes and dresses here and set them right back ($25 for used shoes; $19.99 for dress). Sometimes you can find some neat knick-knacks, but if its vintage or antique, it's priced accordingly. read more

Two terrible experiences at this donation center. The staff was rude and impatient. While trying to drop off donations two separate times it was rudely scolded by the same staff member. Once for not having my car close enough to the door, (It was in drive through area of the donation center). And the other for trying to walk my donation to the door (hindsight I sould not have done that). The second time I felt as if I was being yelled at, he could have simply asked me to wait. Not scold me like a misbehaving child. Then while I was tying up my bag to get a better grip on it so I could carry it to my car, the same staff member tried to accuse me of leaving it behind. I never took a step away from the bag, nor did I ever let the bag out of my hand. This behavior was completely inappropriate. The fact that the same person on two separate occasions displayed this type of rude behavior has made me to never want to take my donations to Goodwill. read more

They've done a little remodeling and moving things around in the last couple of years. Now, they're fairly clean, have decent selections and an entire room for furniture. Nothing I've ever seen here has been spectacular, but its better than some Goodwills. read more

One of the messiest Goodwill locations in town. I go to them all and this one is always crammed full of stuff. It must be an nightmare for the employees to stock shelves because it's a bit of a pain for customers to actually find anything on the shelves, it's all packed in so tight. Since Goodwill prices vary I have found that this location tends to have pricers that aren't always delusional---they actually price things reasonably. It's an adventure and I always stop in when visiting the in-laws on the NW side of town. read more
